Premium MemberSTEAK

Steak, a versatile food,

So easy to prepare.

Seared, broiled, or grilled, my choice.

Searing steak, I prefer.

Savory, meaty, and

Smoky scent in the air.

Seared rib eye steak, yummy!

Premium MemberHOMELESS

Reflecting...at the end of December 2009 I was homeless. However, in March of 2010 God intervened and provided me a safe roof over my head where I have resided for almost 15 years! He is a good and faithful God, who has never left me alone and I will never cease to give Him Glory, amen.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

H earing God above the chant of scoffers and being

O pen to manisfestations of true joy...I find that His

M ercy and grace 'neon lights'...negate the obvious

E xpected feelings of 'self pity'...thus this revelation

L eaves me with the 'treasure' of a renewed...deep

E stablished trust...that is profoundly and adamantly

S ubstantiated with increased love for a dependable

S ure Savior and a belief in the 'impossible' for 2010

Premium MemberSeptember Falls

Stirs gently the breeze of late
   summer's grace
Endowing fall its trails ,and all is fair
Pine trees quiver in cool mists which
   embrace
The last of September... winds'
   final flare:
Each ornament from nature's afterglow
Mesmerizes these eyes through
   golden tones,
Bearing harvest moon's radiance its
  flow
Enticed by interludes of heated
  moans.

Rainfall melts summer into silver- blue
Forever a cycle of rosy sands...
Always my year's flamed passion,
   always true
Livening romance, flings, their endless
   strands.
Let September drift far onto the west
Still my heart whispers, I am wholly
  blest!

Premium MemberJUST AS I AM I'm just a visitor-I am from above My Spoken Word

I drink the dirty water,
I walk with a dirty vessel
I stand on a dirty ground
 yet profoundly
 I even ingest dirty food
and my blessings
 I am confessing
 it's not what i partake
of it's not what I'm earing
but what resides within me
 for you see
I am righteousness of God in Him.
I am my truest self
not of this earthen soil
 I am from above

So be this my profound declaration of faith and indentity
So be true truth purity and righteousness come from within
My God is inside us and we're not dependent on external circumstances
Such even this world be so surrounded by imperfections and impurities
Our true nature can remain untainted we are righteousness
Our truth self is not external affirmation our spiritual identity
Understanding our true home in God soul so our spirit
But a shining reflection of the divine
Shine so, soul spirit and heart ever shines bright
We're the light shining bright may our words
Inspire others to embrace their own true nature
I am not from here I'm just a visitor-I am from above
Amen

Poke Than Provoke and Broke

Would Poke Than Provoke Until Broke

had heard when they poke
potential was to provoke
would do until broke

we read about Jobe
was wild when he wore a robe
earing in each lobe
(in room had a globe)

had been cynical
when war was political
am hysterical

often obsequious
he had been called hibiscus
presumed promiscuous

would wear uniform
which always did keep him warm
protect in a storm

found dog in his lap
around would slap and slap
in brain was a gap

he had an instinct
when it did become distinct
in certain precinct

when we heard compline
knew Jesus was always fine
glad that He is mine

we were paddling
when we first met Madeleine
her horse saddling

was a perfect host
paperback did cost the most
he would brag and boast
(Admiral Stavrides)

over eggs would flip
had looked like a sinking ship
when we got a grip

spring is in the air
at singing birds sit and stare
scared away by big bear

Premium MemberWhispers

Wind talks softly to me and the bees,
Hearing your words through the breeze.
I hear you in the pretty wind chimes,
Singing as you whisper many times.
Peace you bring in,
Each song you sing with a grin.
Rain or wind in the trees,
Softly you sing me to sleep with great ease.

Father's Day

Father you are no longer physically present but your preaching’s, your passion to see
All your children happy, sacrifices you made for us still brings
Tears in eyes and make me feel proud and blessed to have a fantastic father like you.
However deep your pain after mother passed away, you never displayed it to us. Managing four school going kids not
Easy still you never married again. You sacrificed all your personal desires and comforts for
Rearing your children. You only thought of our happiness.
So lovingly you did all household tasks like Cooking, cleaning, along with office that we

Did not miss our mother. You would get up early and cook while we got ready for school. It is
Amazing, how you did it all despite your hectic work schedule. After office again cooking and cleaning.
You were an exemplary embodiment of unconditional love and sacrifice. The best father one can ever get.
