Shine your shoes young man                                                                
Hearing my mom say                                                                                                                                                                                                                           It was a sign of a well dressed man                                                           
Need to look at a man's shoes before dating                                                Eyes fixed on the shine

He was on me to keep white shoes clean...no dirty laces ever. All my shoes had to be clean, all the time. Kids these day? Another story.
