Take a journey with me
hear the beat of poetry as we stroll,
read my words and listen to my heavy steps.
Inside each poet a clock has ticked off a thousand miles !
Verses fall like flower petals raining down,
each day a new poem pours from poet's hearts and souls.
Now, I have been following a new poet . . .
inside her soul dwells the true beating drum of poetry!
Carpe diem, verse, rhyme, etheree, lanterne forms she conquers.
Many of us also struggle to learn these forms but we persist,
you, me, and threvini share the words in our heart.
Silence rages in this chaotic world but we have poetry !
Open your eyes and see this new poet and embrace her,
realize the gift we have been given to write for peace, bliss and faith,
each poet new or old is special !
She rode her bike into Autumnal n ightmares.
One moment she’s looking up at the leaves,
the next she’s on the ground d ead,
well she wishes she was…
A fter she was captivated, she was c aptured.
She was stored in a c abinet like a piece of broken c hina.
C ampers gathered and searched for her.
A f ingerprint was a c lue-
a note left and the young girl was found…
she is l ost.
Will she ever feel s afe again? Her childhoo d is O V E R -
now she knows there are M onsters. Knowing what
she will find, the d ust under the bed gathers for
a l ifetime. The b east is b ehind b ars!

Born free and playful, our soul was complete
Reaching out to one and all, joy replete
Illumined was our soul, divine entwined
Dispersing love, nothing to be divined
Giving rather than taking, was the norm
Immersed deep in a bliss magnetised storm
Neophyte humble, prayer on our lips
Grateful for each heartbeat that rapture grips
Then lower mind, cast upon us a spell
Head-heart split, in fears we began to dwell
Ego spawned sorrow, spelt our heart’s death knell
Empty heart sought joy amidst illusions
God’s light veiled, unending our delusions
Opaqued truth birthed mistaken conclusions
Acceptance dawns, we enter the abyss
Bowing down to conscience, erst fears dismiss
Yearning for God, replacing narrow views
Stillness dynamic, joy pulse that renews
Surrender complete, filling heart with bliss
