PRAYER

Lord, I come to thee
with a broken heart and a contrite spirit
with a hope
You will never disown me.

Lord, I come to thee
with many wounds and bruises
with a faith
you will bind and heal me

Lord, I come to thee
with discouragements and disappoints
with a conviction
You will comfort and console me

Lord, I come to thee
with a load of care and burdens
with a credence
You will yoke and share with me

Lord, I come to thee
with a lost hope and path
with a belief
You will lead me and guide me

Prayer
Is His presence
where my wearied soul finds rest
and His will is fulfilled

Is Partnering with HIm
Where my burdens are lightened
and His plans are executed

Is Bringing joy to Him
where I run into His open arms
and rest assured of my eternity

November 6 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on John 7-8

Key Verse – John 7:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR HIS MARVELOUS WORK

Praise be to God for His marvelous work that makes us:
Uncover His ways
Understand His will
Unwavering in His work
Undaunting in His wisdom
Unashamed due to His worth
Undoubtful because of His Word
Unfaltering thru His workmanship
Unswerving along His watchfulness

John 8:1-2 Praise be to the Lord for teaching us to:
Exhort us to progress through His power
Encourage us along His precepts
Expose us to His performance
Examine our prayerfulness
Enrich us by His principles
Evaluate our personality
Eschew pride

John 8:31 Praise be to the Saviour for enabling us
to continue in His Word, while:
Victorious in His discipleship
Valiant against discouragements
Vanquishing disobedience and doubts
Valuing His direction midst dependence
Vibrant to do duties with diligence and dedication. Amen!

Premium MemberHappy Valentine's Day

As we celebrate love
Whispering joy that abides
Inside those hearts who know
True love is more than
Hearts and flowers

It takes time – it takes prayer
True love is a sign that God is there,
Providing the foundation,
The inspiration for a life together
Promising joy that lasts, joy forever

As we celebrate the feelings
That silence our darkness,
Awaken our kindness, gentling
Even the struggles that arise
From doubts and discouragements

It is this love, this great love
That abides within those who see
He is the answer to every need,
He sees our darkness and still breathes
Light inside us – making us see…
Love that answers every prayer we speak

Love this wonderful is a love that betrays
Hearts who listen to the One who made a way
Beyond the stars – past the sunrise,
Into the peace of a forever who can see…
Together, we are free – to live our lives in
Agreement with the hope that sings…

As we celebrate the miracle of the love that is forever
Happy Valentine’s Day – I’m so thankful we’re together!

Blissful worship* to the Creator subdues arrogance
Vanquishing worldliness-vanity
Humbling me from self-esteem’s dominance
To praise Him midst His holiness-beauty.

Joyous worship toward the Lord grants spiritual might
Cheering me from discouragements’ infirmities
Brightening my commitment to shine in His light
Succoring me against human frailties.

Glad worship for the Saviour upholds blessed stewardship
Enabling my sincere obedient willingness
Offering to me His divine friendship and warm fellowship
For servant-heart’s fruitful faithfulness.

*Psalm 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Premium MemberUmbrella of God's Love

Under the great umbrella of God’s love
I'm shielded with His security’s seal
Against rain showers of deception-deal…
Thankful am I for protection from above.

Under the blest umbrella of God’s grace
I’m supplied well with rain of abundance
Against dearth along famine-avoidance…
Prayerful I must be with faith midst worship’s praise.

Under the wide umbrella of God’s peace*
I’m secured with serene great victory
Against rain of turbulent misery…
Peaceful in His care, I let my unbelief cease.

Under the firm umbrella of God’s might
I'm propped to stand despite rain storm-soarings
Against hardships, anguish, and sufferings…
Strong am in the Lord as I do what’s right.

Under the good umbrella of God’s joy
I’m assured by His words of wondrous cheer
Against discouragements and failures’ jeer…
Jubilant am I while vanquishing rain-gloom’s ploy.

*Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Premium MemberGone With the Wind

Gathered with sister, my mother and kleenex,
Oblivious to our red noses, facial poses and tears,
Nudging each other with movie memory reflex -
Each of us embrace characters long held as dear.

We submit joyously to this continuous, intense escape
Inside the lives of scandalous Scarlett and romantic Rhett.
Trials and tribulations of civil war, deceit and love shape
Heaven and hell into a dramatic, unforgettable duet.

Torn, we watch as hunger, fear and surrounding violent war,
Harms character’s hearts and more discouragements pour.
Enemy destruction devastates Southern life and lore.

While wishing true love’s fulfillment for Rhett’s desirous heart,
Inevitably his sexy charm will wham our hearts like a wild lamb.
No one should dare interrupt our favorite, dramatic film art, or
Disturb Rhett’s last line, “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.”

I Heard of Another Heartache

I Heard Of Another Heartache…

I heard of another heartache. Another disappointment…
I was told of another life filled
with discouragement.

Another life that has been “torn apart.”
Another wounded spirit.
Another wounded heart.

I read of tragedies happening “all over the place.”.
I see the many discouragements on people’s face.

I wish I could “snap my fingers,”
and make it “go away.”
I hope to make a difference in
someone’s life today!

Here’s my wish and a prayer…
God will look after you…
And keep you in his care!

I plead the blood of Jesus
over your family too!
That you would trust God.
No matter what others do!

May it be your desire for a Godly
healing from above…
And bind our hearts with HIS
never ending love!

May we all hold on to God’s
outstretched hand…
And seek his blessing over
our home and land!

God can bring hope to a
“hopeless situation.”
And can bring peace to you
with a “heavenly visitation.”

Won’t you seek God…
While he may be found?
For where there’s sin…
His grace does much more abound!

How Can You Love Christ Yet Reject Me

You say you love Christ
and yet never call me.
There are so many discouragements
 that surround me.

You say; “Another time. I’m busy right now…”
I want to talk with you. I’m not sure how.

You say you’ll listen but never take the time.
Whenever I get near you… You leave me far behind.

You say you want to show me salvation’s plan.
But seem to be unwilling to reach out your hand.

You say you want me to
come to a church meeting.
But deep inside… My heart is “bleeding…”

You say you’ll listen and say a prayer.
When I stop by your house. No one’s there.

You say this Christ you love… Loves me too.
Is this simply words.? Or is this true?

You say a lot of words and do many things…
I want to know what God’s love means…

Will you say that you’ll take time for me?
What kind of Christian do you choose to be?

Will you share and teach me God’s ways?
So I too can live for him now… And always?

Will you give me the love Christ has given?
So I too can have my sins forgiven!

Thank you for listening to my heart-felt prayer…
Thanks for listening.
and for being there!

My Identity

Why must people judge me for the things I do
The feelings i have are normal, but still strange to the human eye
Can't it be known that i am good
But from peoples these days, I'm not.
From now on, I am a person who will stand strong
Right now i am alone and have no one to lean on.
I will act more mature with a mind
Knowing what to do and what not.
I have no respecto to those who said those things about me
The things that have led me in the wrong path
For those who don't know I am a solider of God
And as the bible says, you must respect everyone.
I have always given everyone the time of day
But never have i been treated this way
So i rip up the pieces you call "Threats & discouragements"
Blow it right back in your face to let you feel the pain.
You ask why must the truth be told
Hey....i'm just letting the pain be known

Twists and Turns

All those twists and turns
to this place now bring me,
amidst humps and bumps
on long, deserted highways.

Failures far too many to count,
success very few in between;
discouragements strewn all over
dragging, pulling me down under.

Yet mighty proud to surrender
though the spirit grows weary,
while faint lights out yonder
endlessly flicker, beckoning.

So here I am proudly standing,
proclaiming hey, I am winning!
thanks to an inner fire that burns,
unfazed by those twists and turns.

Like a Tree

Like the strongest tree, I have my roots
From which all of me has grown
They stand firmly planted within the ground
From the seeds my parents have sewn.

From the ground, I grew with pride
Over all of my accomplishments
I reached real high to touch the sky
And ignored all discouragements.

Now, in the spring and in the summer, too,
I blossom and I thrive
In the fall and winter months, though dormant
I’m quiet, but alive.

So, like the tree, providing so many things
I say to those who stand so near
I’ll stand here proud and stay here strong
Because my roots are always here.

To Reconsider Love More Thoroughly

Those past discouragements
and unheeded advices
made everything harder for me,
to reconsider love more thoroughly...

Did I ever find that true somebody,
who would have believed
so blindly in my unquestionable sentimentality,
and not in my loyal feelings living inside;
have I been so selfcentered
or put on a face of insincerity?

I eagerly searched for that perfect woman
with the urge of an irrational man;
unfortunately,I misjudged those wanting me
for their pleasure alone!
Oh,I could have been
so venturesome and silly,
and enjoyed the intimacy
so intensely desired by me!
Unexpectedly,I'm forced again
to reconsider love more thoroughly...
