Umbrella of God's Love
Under the great umbrella of God’s love
I'm shielded with His security’s seal
Against rain showers of deception-deal…
Thankful am I for protection from above.
Under the blest umbrella of God’s grace
I’m supplied well with rain of abundance
Against dearth along famine-avoidance…
Prayerful I must be with faith midst worship’s praise.
Under the wide umbrella of God’s peace*
I’m secured with serene great victory
Against rain of turbulent misery…
Peaceful in His care, I let my unbelief cease.
Under the firm umbrella of God’s might
I'm propped to stand despite rain storm-soarings
Against hardships, anguish, and sufferings…
Strong am in the Lord as I do what’s right.
Under the good umbrella of God’s joy
I’m assured by His words of wondrous cheer
Against discouragements and failures’ jeer…
Jubilant am I while vanquishing rain-gloom’s ploy.
*Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
