Worship's Bliss

Blissful worship* to the Creator subdues arrogance Vanquishing worldliness-vanity Humbling me from self-esteem’s dominance To praise Him midst His holiness-beauty. Joyous worship toward the Lord grants spiritual might Cheering me from discouragements’ infirmities Brightening my commitment to shine in His light Succoring me against human frailties. Glad worship for the Saviour upholds blessed stewardship Enabling my sincere obedient willingness Offering to me His divine friendship and warm fellowship For servant-heart’s fruitful faithfulness.
*Psalm 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. August 5, 2019
