Denmark
What a sweet little country, it's national
anthem reflects his kindness when the German army
marched in 1940, there was no resistance
hence, not one life was lost
the old king continued to ride his horse in the park
Denmark was pressured into, joining NATO as Norway did 57 years ago, the Danes know which side a slice of the loaf has the butter,
while paying obedience
to the real power, America, they continued
to make Denmark a sweet country
Something unforeseen happened, the war in Ukraine
as NATO members they sent two planes there
only two as the budget would not allow for more
but their merchant fleet is vital in carrying the USA
products
apart from this, the Danes know it is a small
country, to maintain a high standard of living
they have aligned themselves to a greater power
But her charm was not lost

Denmark
There is a charming little country
it has no sharp stones or huge mountains to obstruct the view
In our heart, we loved this little land.
They even invented the word “HYGGE.”
The reality is quite different, as it turns out to be a den of spies.
they spied on the behalf of the USA; in other Scandinavian countries,
they even bugged the prime minister of Germany´s phone.
In shipping it has been noticed they get the best contracts.
Quid pro quid, I think the word is.
We in Norway have been half sceptical of this sugary land
We were ruled by them for 500 years.
But they make good beer.
It will take time before we trust the sweet little land again, and
The word “Hygge” has lost its cosy sense of brotherhood.

OCTAVE:
LORD, this morning, thank you. This SONnet will please, tease, release:
I greet thee, having access to Your throne by Jesus
And His sacrifice on Calvary: We pray against the Virus
With a sunshiny name, an aura of a name, "a garland" ...
Corona Virus, COVID-19, or SARS-Cov-2, Thy Hand
Is mighty and righteous, always Righteous, even in judgment
God of Grace and Love, forgiveness and Provisioning
Forgive me my greed, envy, jealousy, smallness and scheming
SESTET:
I intercede for others now, nations and peoples, as did Moses & Joshua
Denmark, guide, teach, help Denmark ... leaders there, who are fair;
Dominican Republic, LORD teach & help this land, Hiati's neighbor
Bless little Djbouti, all states with names starting with the letter "D"
In heart of Africa, still bleeding since Leopold II raped her, DRC: Congo
We forgive others as we're forgiven, CORONA time when unity begins

We drove down the road. I saw such wondrous things. My eyes took in the steep sided grassy valley. In the bottom was a sparkling river. Sun reflected on the water which flowed over rocks. The small river had cut the valley. No more than a stream.
It wound lazily, climbed steeply in places and was powerful in size. They said Vikings settled here. I see no evidence. The local village was set up by Danes. They named it, their legacy. Both vocal and in stone.
Looking up from the river, up the valley side, I see a tree. A huge one by the road. The base must be twenty feet thick. And two hundred high. It's a Danish tree. Transported here as a seed by soldiers. A thousand years old.
I've seen such trees in Denmark. In that tranquil little country, the highest places are trees. There are no hills or mountains there. And only one small two metre waterfall there. Nothing like this stunning one. The Danish invaders must have loved this land.
I want us to stop and sleep under the tree. To hike up the river. Our time here is so brief. We have other sites to see. Will they be magnificent like these?

Oh,Denmark
There is a dragon still alive a live
With all the gold
I hope that Beowulf will finally have his day
Heorot will help the king
With a sling of his sword
No wounds will hurt
No dragons will live
In Denmark anymore
People will love the king
Finally they can win at something
They can say they are from Denmark
The dragons will come but they will die in their own fires
King Hrothgar builds Heorot Hall
Shield Sheafson who founded the ruling house
The temples of Plato will take a incense of dragon's blood
Virgil will rhyme how the Lord saved the king
Plato will talk about a far off land call Woodland
With all the forests and rain
In the south Schleswig
Has trees and meadows that grow
There rose thorn's are a pain
I hope I can kill all of them before I'm too old
I watch the crows and wish I could fly away
With my baby and Marius by my side
On a dragon's back.
To the land of wood and trees.

Life became a sweet song of morning lark
As when Iris spoke to me from Denmark
When first saw her in sensual style mark
Young dreams reached a decisive landmark.
The green days got an important bookmark,
As I received the message from Denmark.
Hoping life will become the rainbow ark,
When Iris will come into my home park.
My boat was on a smooth sail like a shark
The soil was there, seed here hot and stark
Needed the rain to sow but missed the mark
Unlike Columbus sailed back with no spark.
Dream stays with me, the emotions earmark
Broken heart outlived joy of dream Denmark.

A city where
Sky scrapers are rare
As is the city
So are its buildings, compact!
Scraped by the sky they seem
Yet intact is their splendor and grandeur
Modernity fused with the classic ancient
Decorates its highways and streets
Spell bound and enchanted
By its beauty I was to be
If it were not for the voice of duty
That called me back home
FAREWELL!!

dedicated to Hans Christian Andersen

He lived in Denmark many years ago.
He was the son of a shoemaker,
and he loved to dream very much.
His dreams turned into
magic fairy tales,
but no one wanted to understand them.
People laughed at the Story-Teller.
And they often teased him.
Now, when I am dreaming,
my dreams turn
into magical fairy tales.
But people laugh at this,
and often, they tease me
here in Russia.
