Yesterday's heartaches fade away;
and yet, memories tend to stay.
Though love offers no guarantee,
it's the key to setting hearts free.
Clinging to unreconciled fears;
you blame fate for your years of tears.
And erect emotional walls;
discouraging love when it calls.
Your heart choreographs each move;
as if love has something to prove.
And as doubt denigrates your mood,
you get defensive and unglued.
When your chances drop to zero,
you react, the wounded hero.
Learn to give, as well as receive;
be true to truth; do not deceive.

Vain mankind, you measure and image objectives
You build, and tear down, errect and level the fomer,
Lauded structures, become despised, as you search
For validation ' as you sense the cold expanse of
Eternity, and its structure ' always expanding it has no
Base known to humanity.' Man cannot fathom or weigh
Its complexlity, its simple existence mesmerises us
As we struggle with basic human needs.' As we value
That which we posses. Yet will never own.' As so many
Elevate themselves to claim kingship, to promote war
And to control, they are lost in their aging..in the shell
Of decompisition, they place their trust, plot courses
And yet know they must depart.' For God is tearing them
Apart, dissasembling, to cast away the dross, to reshape
The clay.' Man rages in vain against his creator; he copies
And yet curses, denigrates others to obtain more yet
Will never own more..More than a chance! a one time
Opportunity to recieve enlightenment, through Jesus
Christ, the gift of God, the Holy Spirit wafts and waves
Over us morning and night.' Awake to salvation embrace
The light.'

Futuristic climes
Beckoning to surpass
Spurring inventive minds
Since moon crater’s crevasse
Once known world denigrates
Human kind expiring
Lost to predicted fates
Stupendous vanquishing
fires onward challenges
Achievable data
Opens advantages
Kaleidoscope strata
Gravitational pull
Precludes events to plumb
Vessel christened ‘Virgin Wool’
Mankind decides outcome

Prepossessing pair liquefy as a still river’s exquisite glaze ~
An undercurrent ripples in the lazy meander to ply compliance
Yellow tones of twilight seep slowly, warming a cold demeanor
These two play in crepuscular light, ensconced in downy fur
Wearing black and white, is moonlit night,
only half-lit, as unfolding dawn's fawn, denigrates the dark...
Proportionate seconds rake nails in a rhythmic clickety-click
Long strokes make feasible winged flight, high with the half-moon:
a cogent straight-cut through a curve of semi-shiny symmetry
Yielding to heat, dews exuberant, deluge chilled lungs and fog river’s gaze ~

Wracked with guilt I lay
troubled in spirit body all thoughts invoke
recalls my elevation
gut wrenching waves of remorse robs sustenance
unaware of how one’s life’s machinations
can cripple one’s destiny
no spirituality
boastful and selfish
no code to live by
wishful thinking throughout my earthly sojourn
for accumulated wealth
now weary in spirit my riches suffocates
my life review horrifies
capturing each thought word and deed emphasised
it’s counterpart reaction denigrates me
friends and love ones all harbouring resentments
had I known before
would I have heeded
the wheel of life will summon me once again
at the appropriate time a contract signed
karmically a chosen life regenerates
chance to right the wrongs

I could close my eyes
and pretend
alternative facts exist
but I won't
perhaps I am too old or set in my ways
to comprehend the nonsensical ecobabble
that denigrates global warming as a hoax
a political millstone
liberals hung around the necks of gullible fools
designed to grind down progress and high profits
but that is a lie
Earth is in distress
our planet is not an inexhaustible resource
we are insensitive to nature's limits
and we will suffer for it
mark my words

Why people why
About so many things I want to let fly,
Political correctness is like a stick in my eye.
Capitalism and greed over helping others, WHY ?
State sanctioned murder, yeah let the innocent fry.
Apathetic laziness, will lead to obesity,
Get moving people, it’s hard but it works trust me.
My lazy Son the millennial wants it all to come easy.
His education costs a fortune but it should be free.
I like Rap music but not the way it denigrates ladies.
The way it glorifies drugs makes me crazy like rabies
And the language is horrid, no ifs, buts or maybes.
But worst is violence towards kids or on babies.

She has no friends; the one friend that she had
she threw away for a silly reason.
Her father died, and she became so sad;
she has been four years now in grief’s season!
She denigrates her peers because she thinks
they lack her wisdom and maturity
and thinks that everything about life stinks,
thus oozing angst and insecurity!
She speaks her mind but doesn’t know how mean
she sounds to others or that all her strife
is felt by other teens at seventeen.
She’s soon to face a big change in her life.
Because her loved ones care, she’ll learn to grow.
The creep in her shall soon be letting go!

I can't wipe past betrayals away;
those transgressions are here to stay.
And while love holds no guarantee;
at the very least, trust in me.
Failing to reconcile old fears,
questioning love brings only tears.
And building emotional walls,
you ignore the truth when it calls.
Your fears choreograph each move
as if I've something to prove.
And as doubt denigrates your mood,
you act insane, getting unglued.
You think you're being ill-treated;
cursing your fate, you feel cheated.
And sounding completely deranged,
insults get angrily exchanged.
Armed with lies and a bruised ego;
you recoil, the wounded hero.
You don't give love, only receive;
and, in truth, constantly deceive.
When will you ever trust again,
put yours aside, and feel my pain?
Sullying my dreams with regret,
you're losing my love and respect.

Moments of numbness, replaced by a blast.
Icy cold fingers grip my chest - I gasp.
It's heat of summer; No wind in sight.
Just icy coldness of things not right.
No words can form; No thoughts set upright.
All is a jumble; My throat is knot tight.
Nothing can free; Culpability.
Denigrates dignity; Evil agrees.
No way to erase, fathom - explain.
How to go forward - enshrouding such pain.
Loss of all focus; Struggling to gain
Release from coldness; Icy coldness and pain.
