Beauty Defined

What is beauty?
Can I sing to it? 
Can I bathe it in
Honeydew lotion
and read it ancient
love poems
as it fights the 
gravity of sleep?
Can I feed it
pureed applesauce 
and wipe its 
dripping face clean?
Can I hold it in my arms
and feel the weight
of infinite potentials
I will carry on my 
shoulders until it
finds place for them 
on its own?
Can I grasp it
in the enchanting 
gaze of a 
Beautiful newborn?

Serenity defined

in early morning
when everyone is still asleep
i love to wake up with the sun
and have a private tete-a-tete

i sit quietly with my mug of coffee
soak in the rays and absorb
the serenity around me

this morning even the birds
seem to be sleeping in
with the wind not swaying a single tree
nature still seems drowsy

i spoke too soon here’s a bluebird
flittering from one branch to another
but there’s not a whisper of a cloud
the stillness beyond a doubt is picture perfect

There are those who say that love is invisible…
that it’s a feeling we cannot see…
and although I am no expert…
forgive me if I disagree.

Because in all my years upon this Earth
I have come to believe
love is often times quite obvious
and easy to perceive..

That it permeates our senses…
It can be seen heard, tasted, felt…
and above all shared
that when you stop to look around
you can see love is everywhere

Suffering pain griefs
Hurt I was defined
To inflict with mental pain: Wounded
Was seriously hurt within my physical self

You're hurting my arm!
To do substantial soul harm so: DAMAGED
Caused emotional pain or anguish to: OFFEND
Never meant to hurt, placed in remorse

Got feelings so I hurt
Detrimental to: HAMPERRED
Charges of graft soiled chances of being in pangs
Feelings rain

Suffering pain griefs
Mental host, hurting such
Freedom in me to be in need 
To cause damage or distress
My source cause of injury or damage
  
Weathering clouds of doubts the hurts of so many of us
