Miracle Man

At birth God assigned me
an unknown expiration date.
God has seen fit to bless me
with my date coming late.
But an inaudible clock is busy
deducting from my earthly time.
Subtracting each earthly second
God has allotted for my lifetime.
I’ve faced serious hurdles
that Doctors said were my end.
But only God knows the reason
He chose my time to extend.
Oh yes indeed,
how entitled I am
to receive Social Security and Medicare;
of course for fifty odd years
governement saw no problem deducting
the coverage it now wants to cut;
and the senate and congress still have
their own entitlement trusts,
but let's build a wall at any cost
and provide rich and corporation tax cuts
claiming the economy is robust
while the poor and middle class are lost.
Republican majorities,
Let me know how it works out.

nutritionally green
echoing off mineralized crystal rocks
harmonic revolving windfunnels
resonant thunderstorms of revolution
polypathic songs
of ringing newborn singing childhood
Imagining square dancers
of and for seasons
with lovely healthy reasons--
permaculturing operas.
Emergence dying
Emerging crying feeding moving lying
Growing crying feeding crawling
Seeing hearing crying feeding trying
Walking talking falling crying trying
Learning reading writing playing trying
Learning thinking writing playing trying
Planning learning finding deducting trying
Scheming planning learning reasoning trying
Realising planning learning earning festering
Contriving trying earning loving yearning
Parenting working living doing dying
Rich ones get richer from our wages.
Middle man paid with too many pages.
We continue on path.
Hiding outrageous wrath,
Revolved in political stages,
Taxes, taxes, what will be the due.
Deductions, exemptions for a few,
All my money they have kept.
Deducting tears I wept.
Tax man arrived claimed all of them too.
The poor keeps getting poorer each year.
They cannot wait for rebate, they cheer.
Sell off, early rebate.
Federal and the state,
Money now, money, for wine and beer,
