My name's ANGIE, are you listening?
I grew up listening to that group called Rolling Stones
I was told you're wasting your time by dreaming
They never knew how harsh they were with those tones.
YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT
Words they thought were normal for dreamers
I didn't see why not, nothing could stop that
Until one RUBY TUESDAY I was caught with dealers.
Saw WILD HORSES flex with TUMBLIN DICE
Thinking I'd now be one of the HONKY TONK WOMEN
I didn't think I'd be caught playing with fire in ice
Next to the stolen car he said "PAINT IT BLACK".
The policeman on the other side is on my track
Asking, "how did she escape UNDER MY THUMB?"
I didn't know there would be no going back
It was a once-off deal but I guess that too was dumb.
Script
Zoom zoom goes the car with drug dealers
Being chased by the cops in a spotted deal
The exchange was spotted by the police
Who gave chase six shooters drawn
Firing at the fleeing BMW that sped away
Bullets zinged into it others were fired back
It was a right cowboys and Indians time
Just like a movie film with John Wayne
Who will win the cops or dealers?
It’s just like a films script but real
Blackjack dealers are not out to beat you.
Dealing the game is what they basically do.
There are 416 cards in an eight deck shoe.
The first two cards dealt won't always please.
This leads to so many different possibilities.
It is not possible to always get twenty-one.
Many times you go over, and the game is done.
The dealer doesn't always bust, and can get more than you.
What you see is what you get when it comes out of the shoe.
Blackjack is one of several table games you can choose.
Remember, leave the casino if you can't afford to lose.
A Vendor's Life
At times, sleepless nights,
Filled with worry and fears;
The life of a vendor
Means laughter and tears.
Patience and perseverence
Are essential and soon learned.
An exceptional ability to
Try again once burned.
Defeat's not an option;
There's a desire to impress.
Gifted with talents,
And a need to express.
Optimism abounds,
As doubts are chased away;
No time for such thoughts
In a vendor's busy day.
Each day another chance
To attain a new goal.
It seems a vendor's life
Is in the heart and soul.
With so much at stake
so what is the lure?
There's just nothing quite like
being an entrepeneur.

Funded wars simply

(This is a fictional poem but it's true for some people.)
You came here and you're up to no good.
You've been selling drugs in my neighborhood.
There's more violence around here than there was before.
You're not going to poison people anymore.
You're nothing but thugs and you think you can threaten us with guns.
But I've rallied the people and I have the support of everyone.
You can't defeat us all.
Your crack house is going to fall.
I got a sample of your crack and I gave it to the police.
Your days of dealing drugs are about to cease.
You are people who we no longer fear.
Now you'll go to prison for about ten years.
Passions past and the sadness settles in
whispers never
It’s so fast we just started to begin
Now’s not ever
Nothing we can do lasts forever
We’re leaving all the time
Why so blue
It’s exactly what we knew
Was going to happen
Teenage love is just experimental
Couples getting down to elemental
And then it’s gone
life goes on
But nothing’s quite the same
If you want to play the game
Know what you’re trying to win
When passion’s past
And the gladness settles in
