Karma suddenly dropped the other shoe
She bit off more that she could chew
Payback’s a b*tch when you’re a snitch

Carbon started the show
for life on earth to grow
and form fossils below.
Modern man in the know
made fossil liquor flow.
Then mass combustion grow.
Carbon to see-o-two.
Waste gas discharge to blue.
Each day more of it spew.
The air choked with foul brew.
Man argues what to do
now judgement day is due.

The Day of Reckoning,
thunder, and rain,
In the deluge of her teardrops,
pain, she yearned to end,
Yet, end never came;
her tears ran out,
Her soul, with the torrent,
transmigrated to drought,
Standing amidst the Apocalypse,
her silence - shout!
Somewhere in parched wilderness,
a blade of grass - sprout,
Gently she touched,
the green blade in the sand,
‘The Creation of Adam’,
her creator’s hand?

The lightning crashed into a billowing sky,
The wind swept trees struggled to stand,
Would appear we have made mother nature cry,
Across all the hills and valleys and every land.
Nothing above the earth was safe from her winds,
No man or beast had ever witnessed this before,
It was as if she was making us pay for our sins,
Today there would be the only one given law.
Survive if you will this tempestuous fall,
Hide if you can from her raging wrath,
This day as dark as night, only the wind calls,
No use today traveling on the main path.
The pitch black day belongs to nature's way,
And all that fall in her path will pay.

Tis his pity
Day of days to cry.
Day of reckoning that will be
When we all stand guilty
Before throne of mercy
Our eternal destiny
To decide
Is he.

The hours they pour
Grains spotlight each moment
That plundered a life
Then lied to deny
The hours pour down
And tides do reveal
The Judge sees the heart
Hidden from men

Wind lashes into me, no softer than a cat o’ nine tails.
The rope swinging like a fallen halo.
Fear of death was never resident in me, I thought I knew my final resting place,
But now. What now.
If only you had not abandoned me.
Or did I abandon you. The moment I plundered his body of life breath.
She had lain with him as naked and carefree as a baby in a bath.
With honour deplete and heart wretched would not any man have done the same.
She told me I would never grace your hallowed halls,
But be consumed by eternal fire.
My chest is leadened. My heart thudding.
The rope is stilled. I look for a sign.
My only fear is of the unknown.

Why can't you just let me burn?
I have to because it's my turn
My day of reckoning has come
And my pain has just begun
My eyes are open, now I see
Everyone has just been using me
No love only lots of hate
The devil is waiting, we've got a date
I can hear the screaming, no I won't cry
It's my fault I had to die
I knew god never had my back
He vanished when I smoked that first sack
I tried to live a good life
But I couldn't help but use the knife
When my blood flowed out of my skin
I was wildly attracted to the sin
Now I'm in hell, no happiness around
In the corner there's dead bodies in a mound
My nightmares are coming true, this is my reality
I've sacrificed my last bit of sanity
There's no hope for me please run
My future is full of sorrow, no fun

Above bleak pastures,
A cobalt coliseum:
Warriors are unleashed.
·
Aggressive brave clouds,
Battle for the dominance:
Vanquishment is vague.
·
Conquest of power,
Clash of divine elements:
Battle in the sky.
·
Sun and clouds collide,
On a battlefield landscape:
The land prays for reign.
·
The golden swords pierce,
As injured clouds hemorrhage:
Pelting the pastures.
·
With sharp swords of light.
The golden gladiator:
Obtains victory.

One summer hot,
clear day,
It was time to deal with dirty laundry.
In silence,
with a countenance of stone,
unrevealing deep emotions,
things of necessity were done.
She hung bleached-white sheets
out on the line to dry,
then, turning to him,
her iron will broke,
storm clouds rose,
her eyes accused,
yet, all she could say was;
“Don’t leave.”

It is the Day of Reckoning.
Every tree, every cloud, every insect
stares at you.
Which one will you follow?
