Oh! ancient Kingdom of Persia
Of the reigns of Cyrus the Great!
Of Darius, Xerxes and Ataxerxes
Great thrones, great kings, Great Kingdom
History is incomplete without you.

Oh!!! Persia. Oh!!!! Iran of the Islamic state
How you have fallen from a great fall!!
You are now a model of repression
You have become a replica of Fear.

Darius

You think I don’t see what you do?
I count every lie you let slip at dinner.
I watch who you look at when you think no one’s watching.

I memorized your excuses so I could cut them off mid-sentence.
Your phone became the thing I check first.
Your “I’m busy” became the wall I hit.

I don’t sleep. I wait.
I know the pattern of your steps before you reach the door.

You say “stop being paranoid”.
I say “stop giving me reasons to be”.

I built my life around catching you.
Not to save us. Just to be right.
Just to win the game you started.

Tell me, Darius,
when I finally corner the truth,
will you still pretend I’m the crazy one?

Premium Member Suggestion By My Uncle

My young blind date thought he was hilarious
His antics were corny, ridiculously overdone and nefarious
Mother thought he was charmingly gregarious.
Why don’t you date him? Suggested Uncle Darius.

The Sixth of Daniel

Walketh I, thy path of righteousness, beheld His glory,
Lifted me upon thy pedestal, godsends didst overflow,
Name I lord overseer to a third of the Medes kingdom,
King Darius favor astir cohorts to envy, concoct ruses,
Deceptive intrigue dupes, prayers to induce him alone,
Ruling ricochets both together King Darius and myself,
Unbeknownst I, exploits hands didst seize my person,
Thy servant wast bound cast down into the lion's den,
Constant pray I, Grace abideth with me, I fear no evil,
Occasion thy beast that they'd hunger naught, assert,
Oh Father, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven,
Art denied am I thy countenance, 'tis yond lion's den,
Faith I apiece well-sprung eyes, obliged glad tidings,
The hour steadies, a lion's den notably stable, bestill,
My presence overwhelms one joyfully, two confused,
Witticism replaceth tomfoolery as similar fates a pair,
Restoreth bliss as a kingdom praises my deliverance,
Redemption's always confirmed in steadfast prayers,
Tenacious faith that placeth the wealth of me in Him.

Daniel, a man who loved to pray
despite the law to worship Darius as King
would not be moved from His sovereign
faithful He was standing on to bring

Three times every day Daniel prayed
giving thanks to God for HIs goodness
this news was told to the King
forcing the Kings' hand ultimately to press

The King was much distressed concerning Daniel
He sought to rescue him but had to act by law
so the King spoke, Daniel may your God deliver you
then went to His palace fasting, no sleep he saw

Early the next day the King went to see
crying to Daniel has God delivered you?
Daniel spoke of God's angel came to help
closed the lion's mouth fast shut so to do

Daniel's God is the living true God
enduring always for never to end
in heaven and earth works wonders and signs
saving Daniel from the plight of the lion's den

( THis is written looking at the plight of Daniel being in the Lion's den, showing his faith in trusting in God through it all.)

Prayer

Prayer
      King Darius the great
Bring to me what's in my fate

      In this life
      withstanding strife

For if I deserve the best
Let it be in your quest.

Daniel In the Lions Den

https://m.soundcloud.com/user-921599710/daniel-in-the-lions-den

To govern at large, with depth and reason
King Darius ruler of the kingdom
Presidents for a land of size
The king thought Daniel to be wise

Princes appointed honourably
Filled with growing jealousy
Daniel served so faithfully
Others watched him carefully

Faultless find, a call to stay
Devotion daily, time to pray
A plot to have him done away
Of treatment in a wicked way

A king with pride deep at the core
Presidents helped to plan the law
For no requests of thirty days
Carried forth, unrighteous ways

Such flattery, from trusted men
From Daniel’s prayer – into the den
A law in place could not be changed
A callous plan they did arrange

Into the pit, sat unreleased
Sealed mouths of savage beasts
For God knew they were guilty
Daniel saved and rendered free

Injustice that was ensuing
The truthful case of wrong-doing
Into the pit, the men of wrong
For there the righteous don’t belong

Whispering Winds

Hello,

Feelings of danger, just borderline from being a stranger. Wrapped with an emotional slice of anger.
When does it all stop? Popping tops , listening day after day, as the gun goes pop.

Knocks at the door; screams in the streets.
Heat rains down upon your head and feet. Wondering could you be here? Right this minute, in the now, or just my imagination lost, instead.

Dread the future, not knowing what it has in store.
Close narrow minded thinking, leaves you guessing, whats next behind the door.

Processing the urge to live free, even within the worse conditions.
These cruel intentions, that you forgot to mention. Full blown repartitions misleading contradictions, of others lone finger.

Linger in and out of consciousness, dazed, blazed and no longer amazed; lost in this mascaraed of slumber. Bearing witness to the things, that you think are true. When only escaping the pleasantry of times cracked view.

Hello, and you are?

DREAM ON DANIEL

A chronicle of a righteous man of old
Who brought King Darius into the fold;
Understanding writing on the wall
Prophetic interpretation his spiritual call;
Daniel ,a man faithfilled in prayer, caused
Darius to cast him into the lion's lair;
A guardian angel to Daniel was sent,
So trust in God received royal assent;
Dream, words and visions filled Daniel's life
He proclaimed God's truths ,without fear or stife;
A regent of Babylon for its kings
Of Shadrach,Mesha,ch & Abednego, we now sing.

The Unknown Can Be Known If Shown

Unknown Can Be Known If Shown

Before your eyes with no disguise. Standing before you as open as one can be. Still you are unknown to me as I am to you.
Waiting to initiate a conversation, hesitating on the words. For the walls have not been laid to waste away, to see you. Just a mirage of what I
thought you truly were. Visioning a beauty from a far, a rising star, leading me to a continuous journey to where you are. Not wanting to be strangers, but it appears that there is so much danger, so much unease. Tease with the imagery of what is your presence , while words are no longer true. Leaving us to stand alone, when you are no longer shown, how unknown you are to me and I to you.

Today

Today

Today is the day to let your mind be at ease. Do as you please. Freeze and relax, for the skies are not dark and gloomy. Sue me, for knowing that today is great. Take away the stress and know that you are blessed. Even when pushed to the test. Rest and let your mind wonder. Knowing nothing can steal your thunder.
Today your eyes are open to view a new frontier of hope. The scope is vast. Long last, no longer the outcast. Mass the pain and leave it in the past.
Today is where I want to be, free to enjoy the warmth
of the sun or snow. Just let it flow.

Music For the Soul

Music For The Soul

Rewind has been pressed so many times in the past. Fast forward has been set too far in the future. Not quite ready to venture there. Yet pressing play, is where things are now. If I pause, then I might just see the beauty of it all. Press stop and see the beauty that is left inside of me. Record the memories good and bad and set too achieve happiness.

Fatherless

Fatherless

Faded pictures and moments of disguise. Wanting only the skies limit, for these words may appear to be quite timid, but where are you? Pursue the pursuit of happiness, of just being one in life. Joy filled days and nights of all we could share. Is it fair, when no one is there? When there is nothing, to do but stare out into the wilderness, and in vision such a place, where you stood. The strength that was given to you, but it abandons you when it comes to us. Lost in a system of hopes and dreams. Wanting to be wanted, yet no one seems to understand. Braved it all alone, as the wind shatters, these tears for all to see. Calling out your name. Not in vain, as so many may claim. Insanity it could be, but the hope still remains. Dangerously close to the edge, of this unknown cyclone of feelings, dealing away the pain. These house of cards have falling. Stalling as the storm urges on. Father were have you gone?
