(Continued from Part Two - 1)

Nothing of the foisoning ageold homegrownwine
strained through Ol’ Kayyam’s ever draining ruba’iyat bowl
keeps vigil in their scelerosed veins

I will slap this officious reason
In the face with wine in hand

Who so bold to slap sense into the buttressed elus
But those drunk with common insolence sense

Darius the First built a confining wall
around the Greco-Roman Empire’s eastern front
                              a first wall of self-will
Gengiz Khan tore it down with his sabersharp teeth
after climbing deftly through the David Copperfield hole
   in the Great Wall

See how Mao stemmed the tide with his Long March
Only to wall in his Zhong Guo
                                                      An Asia within an Asia
      The Central Asian Crown
to be propped up again either by vassal states
or by tribute offering nations in return for health-giving largesse

while tough little Viets struggled without wailing on bare feet
to sling the Twentieth Century’s Goldorak down to an ignominious fall

while those that weep after twenty lost centuries at their Wailing Wall
wall their brethren in a closely policed jail
wailing at every television reprisal performance
their insecure un-Godly fate in the dead sea of faiths
at the bare hands of suicidal wall breakers
      hemmed in around their waists

            like those fencesitters
  the Greater East Asia
                                       Prosperity builders who
let MacArthur gird them behind an Ocean Wall
silent superior-thinking men and women
unable to wish their neighbours bonjour
even after the unhealed unhealing wounds inflicted
                                                  by kamikaze samurais
walled in behind obsequious bending backs
          and mechanical smiling faces

What brews in quiet what festers in stealth
                                                                Asia’s white master race
                           a Botha-deemed non-apartheid equal

ONE of the seven rulers of this world

Facts Beyond Illusion

Facts beyond Illusion

The absence of who you are falls short of whom you could truly become.
The decline that leaves you slain without hope. Sliding down a slippery slope after slippery slope. Looking back at the years with no end in sight.
Where have all those years gone? The righteous ones, the heroines and heroes of truth. Now there seems to be this new norm running loose. Wrong is the new right and vice versa are those thoughts that wage war on our minds. Those thoughts that seem so hard to find. Our eyes do not deceive or betray us, but there is still no justice. The makeup that made you has started to crumble and fade, now you wonder if you have been laid to rest without a shred of dignity.
Falling to your feet, subdued by the sheer weight that bestows the question of, what it all means. There is no judge nor jury to preside over things that are true. It appears that the laws that are written have a certain vibe of bias when looking through the hourglass, but blinded by the sand in front. By the time the sands clears, one would think, now you can see the truth, but it disappears in plain sight. Ups and downs are these scales foreshadowing the twist and turns of this rollercoaster ride, where we all died inside. Puzzles are broken into multiple pieces, releasing the pain that is increasingly felt inward. Causing a downward spiral of drunkenness. Spinning in a circular motion of consternation. Chastised by man based on the premise of misinformation hesitation has caused an even bigger loss of life. Cutting like a knife, losing themselves in confusion, with no repercussion for the fallen. Just a percussion of lies from your mouth to our ears, tears with no guilt. Just laughter when it comes crumbling down. Frowns of disbelief sicken you from inside as the plot thickens, labeled you the black sheep. Displaying enough bravery to stand alone and atone for the ones that shall remain nameless. The cost was
too high as so many loves ones have died. Infinite lies that should lie in the belly of the beast. Just to hold on to that one moment of release to fight for freedom and peace.

Alexanderthe Great

King Philip his father engaged a new teacher
When Alexander turned thirteen.
Aristotle the greatest mind of his time
Gave Alexander his taste for the unforeseen.

Alexander dreamed of a one world empire
Held together by one king and tradition.
After his father was murdered by rivals
He ruled in his place with conviction.

Philip’s death caused conquered kingdoms to rebel
And for next two years Alexander forced them to concede.
The huge Persian Empire of King Darius III
Posed the greatest threat to Greeks and their creed.

The Persian cavalry numbered over forty thousand
Plus one million foot soldiers with weapons and shield.
Alexander’s troops numbered thirty thousand on the ground
Along side five thousand horsemen who dominated the field.

Alexander practiced many new methods of war
One of his most effective was called the siege train.
Several high towers would be rolled up to city walls on wheels
From which defenders were overwhelmed and slain.

He developed mechanical machines of death
Catapults, which hurled fifty pound stones.
Large arrows and burning balls of fire
Smashing walls, buildings and bones.

Soon Alexander fulfilled his prophecy
Sitting on the golden throne of Persian kings.
Possessing great treasures from conquered lands
Though his greatest need was conquest not things.

Alexander, king of Asia, would not be satisfied
His ambition and ego denied him rest.
He decided to march his armies to India
Putting the Rajahs armies and elephants to test.

The huge beasts, which were unknown in Europe
Frightened Alexander’s men at the start.
In spite of their fear disciplined prevailed
As Greek spears tore holes in their heart.

Exhausted by years of hardship and battle.
His men refused to go on and Alexander gave in.
Disease, thirst, and hunger were their constant companions
From the time they left Greece till they were home again.

Alexander was physically and emotionally sick
To the point of becoming critically ill.
He died in Babylon at thirty-two
King of prophecies he pledged to fulfill.

Motherland

Motherland…

I am a desert, barren and hot.
Hoping for the rain, which I forgot.
Once, I was green, golden, and bright.
Nightingales singing night after night.
My fresh breeze at dawn was ever nice,
Showered me blossoms like paradise.
Year after year, I dressed up in green.
Green and reddish with white in between.
Until I became older than old,
All I have now is darkness and cold.
I lost all of my glory and youth,
Hope death is not the end or the truth.
I had so many kings that were tall,
Now, I am filled with filth that they crawl.
Tired of being a desert that’s old,
Thousands and thousands of years to be told.
Cyrus and Darius lived within me.
Now I am barren; how could it be?
I am now desert far from the sea;
They burned my soul so no one can see.
Empty and lonely, thirsty and dry,
hope for the rain and generous sky.
Hope for someone to answer my cry,
Wash up my tears, and don’t let me die.
I need a hero like the old times,
Come and wash me from all the crimes.
Come to me, my love, my lovely rain,
shower me with love, get rid of pain.
If you come back and shower me, fine
promise I give you, I'll drink your wine.
For me, rain is love; love is my life.
To live without love is endless strife.
I want to become a jungle of love,
making love and being free as a dove.
I am now dying, dying of thirst,
Hope for a drizzle; first thing is first.

Note: Motherland is Iran, the birthplace of civilizations, a country with thousands of years of history. In the past forty years, there is a great tension between the government of Iran and the United States. This tension has escalated recently to the point of an imminent war between the two countries. The people in Iran are suffering from an authoritarian government on one side and sanctions and pressure on the other. This humble piece is written to give you the understanding that under a millimeter of skin, we’re all the same, the same humans, and humanities are the same regardless of religion, culture, and geographical background.

Destiny demands that we be the debtor
that we sacrafice for the skin of our future,
We left the cradle of the Caucasuses to explore,
to plant the dreams of our Creator,
venturing into the virgin chaos
where the tiger tears apart the trespasser
We made the way, we made love with our Cause,
following the highway of the emerald pasture
from the Euxine to the shimmer of the Yellow Sea
finding war and wealth in the weight of adventure
subduing savages with frightening ferocity
managing frontiers with a proud mercy,
leaving behind our blood's legacy
trading safety for salt, vanity for victory,

Trading safety for salt, vanity for victory
coming home to the Black Sea
introducing steel smelting and a taste for head hunting,
scalping Cimmerians with glee
assailing the Assyrians
extorting Egyptians
respected by Hellenes
dominating Asiatic Indians
cabletowing Celts
and pouncing on Persians,
Phoenicians filled their boats
with exotic Scythian goods,
We were collectors of civilised throats,
our empire needs no roads

Our empire needs no roads,
Saka, Sauromatae, Massagatae, Tocharians, Scythians
We are One, ancient craftsmen and warlords,
our women were the Amazons
Cauterized breast and soldier slayers
Tomyris taught Cyrus
that bloodbaths belong to the losers,
the Scythian wilderness of war jeered Darius,
Zopyrion was made carrion
Alexander wisely just carried on,
to the Romans we were Sarmatian and Hun
Scythes being ancestors to the Gothic Confederation,
a culture canvassing the breadth of all civilization
migrating ever westward into the echo of the sun,

Migrating ever westward into the echo of the sun
bringing our wagons, warcraft, and women
custom of the blood oath quietly open
the wine, and honest blood spun
the two of us swearing in between a lifelong stare
will you be there
when I'm scared,
will you care
when death is there,
will you wait for me
when the war barks near,
will you honor me
when the fire becomes just a whisper,
our oath is our soul keeping

Tried, Tested and Godly Approved

We are always being tested in today's society
all through out our life from kindergarten to university

At one time there were certain individuals in positions of authority
who were envious of a man named Daniel, one of God's prodigies
they went to King Darius one day with plans of their undercover grudge
unaware that the name Daniel means "God is my judge"
they wanted the king to enact a law and sign some kind of decree
where no one could give homage to anyone but the king's sovereignty
they knew that Daniel was an obedient, a righteous and Christian man
who daily worshipped and glorified God, a true believer of the master's plan
unaware of the new law, Daniel continued to pray and honor The Lord Christ
and as a result he was arrested and tested and the test was his very life

Daniel who always stood alone, he passed the test and by God was approved
he survived an evening in the lion's den, all night untouched and unmoved
he was shown approved because of his unwavering faith in The Lord God
a favorite son with a righteous hope contained within his heart

It matters not the types of situations in life that you are currently going through
trust in God, have no fear and let the blood of Jesus cover you
for God is the one true Judge, make His approval your daily quest
so study His word, do your homework and pray you will pass the test

Be aware of your weaknesses, be aware of your strengths
and be aware of the Living Gospel
be a true believer, possess great faith
and trust in God to do the impossible
for the adversary is always working,
attempting to pull you down
don't allow it to interfere
just remember you're standing on God's solid ground

In the lion's den surrounded by flesh eating carnivores in plain sight
God sent His guardian angels to watch over Daniel all through the night
In the face of evil Daniel remained untouched and unmoved
tried and tested by mere men, but by God was shown approved

I Am Daniel

I am Daniel

The king named Darius was not happy but he listened to the astrologer just one
too many times and finally agreed this Daniel is just not doing the kingdoms
business. Take him and lower him away into the lion's den he gave much
thought to this it seemed so wrong to him his conscience finally cried and the
good KING Darius almost died oh what is wrong with me and then HE ventured
near the cave and cried “Daniel has your GOD saved you from the lions.”
I am Daniel
I sit in utter darkenness no food or rest no help it seems the lions do not utter a
sound it's so quiet in this cave no sounds no roars no hate inside these beasts.
My lord the GOD has made them shut up all their want. I sit upon this rock and
kneel beside this rock I pray and wait upon my GOD to save.
The silence is so strong the smell of cat is strong around me I felt them strain
and halt in strang perplexity of need they seem so different now.
Darius was at the entrance to the cave waiting just to hear a word from Daniel
mouth. My heart so troubled earlier and earnestly seeking deliverance is now at
rest and I can be blessed in every circumstance because I kept the faith of GOD
a test but not from him to us this test is testing no one least of all this Daniel. The
lions do not roar. Daniel Spoke.
“Darius be of good cheer I am Daniel my GOD is a deliverer.” Darius Spoke.
“Bring the astrologers here to this cave and get Daniel out of there.” This was the
Kings decree he was quite gleeful and happy about it and then command was
given in a hard hard voice he cried
“Throw the worthless men in where Daniel lay.” This order carried out may seem
so harsh but without Judgment come to them what would they learn.
Now they are waiting somewhere else for GOD to come.
And life for DANIEL still goes on.

Loves Definite

Loves Definite

An intense feeling of deep affection
Love

Love is depicted in so many ways.
We say love and share this love, in ways that seem forbidden or hidden.
Laced in secrecy, sometimes it seems foreign.
Mistreated, misunderstood and abused. This pain amuses no one, which is unforgivable. Yet, we still want it...Love, we still yearn for it ...Love. Scream from the rooftop L.O.V.E!

Love feels great, making you warm, weak and sometimes drives you insane, and again we still want it to remain. Love makes you want to cherish every moment with that someone or something. Love makes it hard to let go. When you know you should, but we continue to want to fight for it. The power of love can burn a hole in your chest and eat away at your heart. When love leaves you abandon, after playing its tricks and games. This thing called love, can leave you feeling empty inside, but can also give you a forgiven and merciful heart.

Start there, when trying to heal, when love has dealt you a low blow. Love can also make you believe in the power of self-preservation, self-healing, and self-motivation. To know that you are loved, no mater the loveless souls of others.
True love will pull you through when at you’re lowest. You begin to see the reward of failing. Achieving the strength to move onward and embrace love, when it truly presents itself. That true love is everlasting, which places a smile on your face and caresses your tears that may fall from your eyes with joy.

You see love will shine no mater, the hurt and pain. Which loving yourself unconditionally and then let your love shine through all wickedness and deceit?

Don’t take love for granted, embrace and let it grow from within, no matter the outcome. Just remember, if it's true, your heart and love will always weather the storm.

April 30 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Ezra 5-7

Key Verse – Ezra 5:5 But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WATCHFUL EYE

Lord God, You are watchful Eye for my life building
Thank You for Your direction upon my upholding
So that I can walk by Your prosperous guiding
Despite carnality’s relaxed attending.

Lord God, You are watchful Eye for my sincere devotion
Thank You for Your truth setting up my foundation
So that I can follow Your instruction
Despite selfishness’ temptation.

Lord God, You are watchful Eye for my eternal treasure-abundance
Thank You for Your guidance along good works’ performance
So that I can do my best without arrogance
Despite haughtiness’ endurance.

Lord God, You are watchful Eye for my need-fulfillment
Thank You for Your grace of complete contentment
So that I can dwell in Your prosperous settlement
Despite pleasures’ allurement.

Lord God, You are watchful Eye for my sins’ captivity-release
Thank You for Your freedom with purifying peace
So that I can separate from iniquity’s grease
Despite filthiness’ crease.

Lord God, You are watchful Eye for my prayer requests’ grant
Thank You for Your answers, making me spiritually vigilant
So that I can obey You by faith, and not remain stagnant
Despite rebellion that’s dominant.

Lord God, You are watchful Eye for my faithful service-reward
Thank You for Your encouraging commendation-award
So that I can labour well as Your diligent steward
Despite slothfulness pulling me downward.

God's Knight

I stare into the rays of the sunrise reminiscing on the events that take place in life,
There can be so much pain with very little time to do what can be desired in life.
That is why we must live our lives to the fullest like our loves ones did before they went
home,
Take their wisdom and lessons to succeed and make life our own.

I think back on how me and my grandfather re-connected and it seemed like I never was away,
We could sit and talk when I visited as if we never missed a day.
He once told me, "Darius, being a man isn't about doing what you think a man should do,
it's about doing what's right and being the real man God tells you to be."
He shocked me but that is when I realized he could see the man I am destined to be.

Life goes on as we mourn for the fallen but we mustn't forget that their life wasn't built
with sin.
Joy is what we should express for them because we shall see them again.
We are all sad...some of us even close to losing our minds,
But no matter what happens he will be in our hearts reminding us all of the good times.

As we continue our lives he will be watching from a far,
Guiding us...protecting us...as if he's our own personal northern star.
The night can be unkind to even the mightiest Knight,
But even he knows the evils that stir can be over powered by God's light.

Through the deadliest storm we will have one another to overcome any type of weather,
No matter how strong we make ourselves out to be the love for family will always provide
shelter.
His legacy runs through our veins so our heads must remain high without doubt or shame,
Floyd Leroy Knight is one of the most greatest husbands, fathers, and grandfathers that
God blessed this world to contain.
