Sunlight drops on fields
of corn, and wheat- like embers.
Pumkins burst from vines.
The sunlight is swallowed
by a bird's wings, as it loops.
A tractor is a hulk.
Penny shaped leaves
crinkle in crisp winds. Summer
lilacs are priestly.

Twinkle Than Crinkle and Wrinkle
There is this star that tried to twinkle,
But in big deal we would find a wrinkle;
Clear cellophane,
With no stain;
Made crunchy sound when it did crinkle.

I listen to the waves washing ashore
when the wind is but a breeze, nothing more.
And I sit all alone upon the beach,
looking up at heaven, just out of reach.
Darkness defuses daylight's dimming glow
as a sprinkling of stars begins to show.
And bathed in quietude, I've naught to say,
watching today morph into yesterday.
A breathtaking scarlet sun weaves the night
a coat of many colors stitched by light.
Awed by the sky's beatification;
I unleash my mind's imagination.
Embracing Nature as I would a friend,
I feel Her presence with me at day's end.
And purging my mind of all sense of time,
I discern peace within Her paradigm.
It's time to leave, yet I can't look away,
all my senses are begging me to stay.
And so, I remain watching stars twinkle,
moonbeams dance, and gilded waters crinkle.

Pretty green, blue, pink, red and white colors!
My gaze bounces from one to the other.
Looking through my window, senses confer
how sight-touch turns thoughts to my lover.
White and pink from each periwinkle;
peaking blue sky; red tomatoes, green crinkle;
growth from onions and new peppers may twinkle.
Much in window’s pane does besprinkle.
Looking out, the feeling of harmony
reminds me of love’s perfect reverie:
A special day of laboring happily
while together we played plant botany.

Crinkle crankle trees abound
and copper pennies push the ground
ducklings with their moms in ponds
gonna catch me a gator.
Fallen threads from silken wings
snorkel with bubbles from the blue whale king
laugh as your grandma begins to sing
giggling tears down her face.
Patent leather heart beat shiny
I'll hide as you count then find me
Floating a bottle out to sea
You grab the captain's hat.
Crinkle crankle trees abound
autumn sings her pumpkin song
Who are we not to sing along
swinging on mosquito swing.
Flutter by the words I say
but a story a day keeps the doctor away
Psychiatry soup is an ear that you pay
to listen to your all of your tales.
So pull up a three legged chair to my table
sound the alarms and send out the cables
(Bring the rose water lemonade if you’re able)
‘cause it looks like we’re in for a whopper...
