Premium MemberScrawls Of Heartbroken Stillness

I turn the leaves of my old diaries.
Wherein my passions and anxieties
Together with your dried rose petals, sleep.
They savor your scent and bitterly weep.

Our glances, touches, cuddles, and kisses
Fun-filled, playfully hopping-mad hisses
Our desires, dreams, hopes, and aspirations
Did all these, like sheds, have no foundations?

Creeds and credos weren't causes for our split.
What's the root of our emotional rift?
You left me as though I were a stranger.
Did I not guard you from every danger?

I wandered as though a mad man for long.
You refused to hear this nightingale's song.
I went on mending my shattered spirit.
What could I esteem as my true merit?

I had, indeed, moments of happiness.
My diaries have scrawls of soft stillness.
Yet, a pain, like a sword, pierces my heart.
I feel as though my soul is torn apart.

Premium MemberWhat If God Said

What if God said
“I cannot love you all.”
“you will have to toughen up,
look after each other,
love one another.”

                            “What!!! How can I love
                             as He?”

“Oh, God”, said God,
“have you learned nothing”
“are you still consumed
by looks, and feelings,
by crusted credos?”

                           “But I do not understand
                            their words, their moods,
                            their beliefs?”

“Nor do they, yours”
“For you are they
and they are you.”

“Would you shun the hungry child?”
“Leave bare the naked babe?”
“Lock your heart to its presence?”

What if God said:
“I cannot love you all
why can’t you all love
one another?”

Premium MemberSpiritual Multitasking

Spiritual multitasking
I think therefore I think….
I am therefore I think I am.
Free me from this curse
This divine dissatisfaction
This need to be needed
Bridled by tenets and credos
Led down lost paths
Wrestling with the doubts
Of a soul
            searching
                          for
                              its
                                  self.

Premium MemberMarriage of Minds

Deserts of failures, seemed to blaze,
Nowhere, with full faith, we could gaze;
What is caste? What's color? What's creed?
Aren't we from Adam and Eve's seed...?
Humanity hijacked...

Is marriage of hearts great taboo?
Should bias within, like tea, brew?
When beings of red-blood unite,
Why should cold-bloodlessness teeth-bite?
Equilibrium cracked...

As though infallibly written,
By cobras of credos bitten;
Isn't, truly, no salvation?
Out of this hate-perpetration?
Cosmic rhythm ransacked...

Left to us, we've decided now,
We'll break all loathe-shackles, and vow;
Our faith and trust in love alone,
We'll live linked, like flesh, blood and bone;
Heart and mind full-intact...

Born To Bear Or Be Eaten

Born in the last decade of the old regime
Born a twain year before our unity to bear
All the flourishing devoid credos and pro-
phecies that foresaw our dark current futures
Possessed by omens and the Serpent’s seeds
Of rebellion bad tidings from anyplace
Were dropping and chances dwindle. In the
Intervening time storey-buildings bloomed
Eggheads rose to make the era theirs with
Funds diverted abroad to squeeze the brinks
The illuminated then urinate on the poor’s
Offspring to connect them to the State how
Blind is this society in total discordance

Premium MemberMust We Forget

Need we walk again this thorny path
Winding through all our past lives,
Picking our way gingerly through
The broken pieces of unrealized dreams?
Must we learn and relearn and relearn
The painful lessons whose acid tests
We thought we had conquered
So many times before, but then forgot?
Will we round another bend, convinced
In our closed and locked minds that we,
And only we, know the truth,
Only to find ourselves again at the start,
Retracing the same painful track
That leads backward into the maze of
Outdated credos and philosophies
That have failed so many times before?
How many must suffer our ignorance?
How many thousands more must die
Before we wake from the nightmare
That holds the world in its feverish grip?
Is it possible for us to crack open the mold
And allow ourselves to fight the dogmas
That keep us trapped in a this
Never ending circle of failure?
Can we do it in time, or are we doomed
To continue on our road to destruction?

Premium MemberFree Wills Destiny

His Karma ran over his Dogma
His dish ran away with the spoon
He wonders if Destiny's planning
To do away with him soon

He found out the hard way that Free Will
Comes with carrying charges and tax
That between the tenets and credos
There is little room for the facts

She was sure that the Gods had her number
That no matter which road she took
There stood this fellow named Murphy
Writing her name in some book

It seems she was never empowered
To challenge the powers that rule
She simply grew as she flowered
And challenged them all to a duel

The History of Fear

The History of Fear

To cite the galleries of Fear
This emotion driven here
And eons past how it began
Beginning with the age of man

To search for food without delay
Or searched for food by other prey
Fear to survive by with every day
The threat of Fear moved on in years

The Fear of God instilled by law
regarding Him with so much awe
The Inquisition, genocide
The Fear of credos other than

A peaceful atmosphere incurred
But portions of our life has stirred
Where Fear has donned a different suit
Millenials cannot compute

More mental pain, depressive straits
established egos met their fate
The Fear of coexisting with
That White is right and other myths

For Fearless is the antonym
A new world order must exist
To love yourself without a care
Eliminate the dread of Fear

CHRISTMAS GIFTS

Churches – fill with cameo believers,
He sits outside shivering in the cold,
Returning to the fold - self deceivers
Immune to fate - no battered cup to hold.
Snow swirls in mystic funnels lacking faith
Tantalizing visions adrift in space
Manic angels praying with homeless wraith
Acknowledging the cold and simple grace
Sheltering in the hearts of troubled souls.

God’s creatures seeking welcome to their home
Iconoclasts long beached on credos shoals
Frozen hearted pretenders to love’s throne
Touched by the spirited tones of the bell
Swaddled in snowflakes where snow angels fell.

Smallest Ants

Smallest ants cast long shadows

They are gifts of the meadows

                                             They fall into the steps

                                         With crepes of many shapes

And fill the gaps with credos

Perishable Man

The breath of life condemns the dying
The creeds and credos conceal the living!
The man who sinned must be executed by death?
Sins from the lawmakers
Abide! And you will interfere in the duty of a man
They call themselves the tyrants!
The trial says, GUILTY ! - without a sin
He, is now a sinner, a betrayer, soon to die.
The revolution of man forgets the sin of Adam- the sin of all man
Our replica, as not the triune God
Punish him death and you will be punished by it
Death is not a mishap, it is fated
The apocalypse of a man opts by Him
10 by 10, His decrees, His chastises
But in man to man, now, one will be perished
The believers wicked by intelligence
Suppressed by power
Countryman, a blood to a blood
Orderly be banished
For guilty a man who perishes another man.

Treat Me Good and I'Ll Treat You Better, Treat Me Bad and I'Ll Treat You Worse

Somebody stepped on me once
and I was angry enough to swear.
The hardest game comes into play,
kill them with kindness or fight back.

Soon after I came across words that
forever changed my attitude toward
human confrontation:

"Treat me good and I'll treat you better, treat
me bad and I'll treat you worse"-Freedom, Credos from the Road

Nobody took advantage of my overly giving nature since.
