Cowardliness Poems | Examples

Along the Cold Dreary Road

There was a time
Of life with joy and happiness
Not a single concern
Now I just have regrets to look back at

Little by little
The steps I take come to naught
Sadness and self pity
Make myself filled with apathy

With cowardliness as my virtue,
Of living a fulfilled life
I dream of everyday
Whilst the world dismantles my reality

Thorns and rusty nails form my way
In every step I take
All I have are flesh wounds and bleeding feet to show for

My days are filled with frenzied motions
Going through the moves
I end up as a saddlebag
Filled with useless rocks

Fear and regret as they’re my arms
Despair and desperation are my limbs
I trudge on, unable to shake off

Dreams and wants drawn and quartered by my fears and incapacitation
Thank you God for making me a coward.

Forgotten Code of Honor and Pride

Forgotten code of honor and pride

Men where are your honor?
Where are you’re code of pride?
Where are you’re animal instincts for fighting what is yours?
Where are the days that we would rather die to protect your pride then face defeat?
Where are the days that we lived by our code and your own strength?
Instead we became mere shells of our former fore fathers

We became too weak to protect our own pride,
Too weak to stand up after a fight,
Too weak to protect our own dignity,
Too weak to stand face to face with your enemy and not attack from behind,
Weak enough to hide behind words and excuses of doing the ‘right’ thing,
How disgustingly weak we became with flesh of unnecessary emotions, cowardliness!

Stand up from the ashes of defeat!
Stand up, fight and claim what is yours’!
Stand up and claim back your honor!
Stand up and claim back your pride!
Stand up and make your fore fathers proud!

Stand up and claim back your forgotten code of honor and pride!

Fourth of July

Fourth of July

So I thought first of July was the US,s national day
I guess I was thinking of Trump and America first
histrionics and naively hopes the virus killing his nation,
will fade away like the morning mist.
No such luck Mr President and you have nowhere to go
except for down and into the sand of times
that will remember your cowardliness and buffoonery
echoing as Homeric laughter in the sky.
But as I said I wish America well and hope the virus
leaves some alive to tell how Lovely the country was
before it was caught in a tidal wave by the enemy
within, and suicidal behaviour by those who cry freedom
at the cost of the individual.

I Choose To Run

I refuse to feel
And despite to fall
I dare not evoke my doom and destruction
Distance my only option
And destiny my only solace

Fear creeps all over
Once the topic crowds the mind
I choose to run and rather be a coward
It never is late
But there always is nothing any mortal can do

It's in our human nature
In our mortal nature to make changes
But once this takes place than it cant be undone
Only changes that the mind depicts, the eye bears witness
The tongue can retell and the ear once heard

The scars still remain
The memories serve as a testimony
For that reason and only that
I chose to run,
Refuse to feel and spare my distraction
Better a label than a virtue is cowardliness.

Obmar

There once was a creature
Who was a preacher to all
He never was a cheater
Always dug deeper in hardships
The community saw him as a keeper
Many saw multiple features
He was The Legendary Teacher

He eventually became weak
Started to peek for new starts
His cowardliness reeks
He needed a new peak
Now he screaks in the night
He never leaks
Now he’s the worlds beak

Chords of Destiny

Life is battlefield,
we should either take flight or fight,
go left or right.
The daring chase towards them,
the cowards race away from them.
But,I am not the one at the base as I keep them at my pace.

As there are mysteries in math
so they are in my path,
forcing me to take an oath
of listening to my mind
and to be blind to my heart.

There are people to discourage me,
forcing me to fake my smile
and trying to make me soak in the
lake of cowardliness.

But I have decided ,
to be kind to my heart than to my mind
to find my way through the obstacles
which will bind me with my dreams.

Though these are mere words
like birds at dusk,
but once into my trust
action will speak louder than words,
against all odds,
which will form the chords of my destiny.

Premium MemberCourage

Courage is understanding
          and confronting reality...
Cowardliness wounds us with its lies,
courage binds us in its Grace...
The moral courage to share love is in and
of itself our most vigorous defense of fear...
     Self-respect can be lost
          in the cowardice of silence...
Bravery bears no chain of betrayal...

     The pain of failure is
the most useful tool of courage...
God did not endow us with the will to die
but with the courage we bring to living...
Fear could be an extraordinary opportunity
that may never be presented to us again, seize it...
     The purest form of bravery
          lives in an artist's heart...

Premium MemberIced Tea

Open a tea bag,
Put it in a glass of hot water,
Use the teaspoon to stir
Until the water becomes unicolor.
Get another empty glass
Fill with the iced cubes
Then pour the hot tea
Into the iced glass:
It will be an iced tea,
A cool mixed drink,
A combine of hot and cold!

To fulfill some goals in our life
Man should learn how to combine
The strength and the weakness,
The courage and the cowardliness!

No More

No More

No more;
Lies
Pain
Suffering
Cowardliness
For they break ones spirit

No more;
Violence
Murder
Stealing
Killing
For it makes the world a cold place to stay

No more;
Hiding
Running away
Face your challenges with courage

No more of the less you have
Know that you can grow as long as your roots are deep into the soil
Know that life holds more when you seem empty handed
Have hope and you'll wake through the challenges that lie in front of you
