I Choose To Run

I refuse to feel
And despite to fall
I dare not evoke my doom and destruction
Distance my only option
And destiny my only solace

Fear creeps all over
Once the topic crowds the mind
I choose to run and rather be a coward
It never is late
But there always is nothing any mortal can do

It's in our human nature
In our mortal nature to make changes
But once this takes place than it cant be undone
Only changes that the mind depicts, the eye bears witness
The tongue can retell and the ear once heard

The scars still remain
The memories serve as a testimony
For that reason and only that
I chose to run,
Refuse to feel and spare my distraction
Better a label than a virtue is cowardliness.
