School

Go gayly to the school, Obedient to its rule, Behave cordially and cool, Don't be a confused pool, Learn the learning tool, And avoid to be a fool.

Premium MemberNew Year

It's a New Year again,
Time to turn another
page -- though I am
far from new~

closer to Old Sage.

Time to forgive...and let
go... -- as seasons flow
the cold of January
will leave our North~
Southern breeze will again
melt the snow, thawing
Nature's frostier thermostat --
(a subtle lesson in
there for all of us) --

Myself, never much for skiing --

having taste closer in line with toasty-sand
and dazzling-shore

however, no need to further bore anyone with
my own preference -- mindful that we all have
personal deference -- but more than enough
in fond common not to foolishly feel need to share any
affections not deemed innately neutral, amiably acceptable when
cordially meeting and passing -

My this year's resolution:

To make a little less fecal
pollution

to love a little more

a welcome mat not far from

the bell camera at the front
door --

I won't be naively foolish -- but maybe
a bit less frightfully ghoulish...

"Emotions connection vesting liberation
Expressing beautiful sense of trust
Comfort and freedom in someone’s love presence foundation
Basking in their warmth touch
Consensual sensual love course

Causally I set my mind to the wind
Cordially my heart’s eyes see visions
A deep and heartfelt understanding glean
Conveys of sense of ease, and trust
Joy in your presence tense moist

I love you yes
Causally I set my mind to the wind
Cordially my heart’s eyes see vision quest
Continually wrap your arms ream around me
Caring and engaging embraced yet free

I love having you around
I’m spirit surfaced
Placed in vessel once fallow grounds
Continually wrap your arms around me
Caring and engaging I am free

Basking in their warmth touch
Emotions connection vesting liberation
Expressing beautiful sense of trust
Consensual sensual love course
Comfort and freedom in someone’s love presence foundation"

Premium MemberEpitome Of Existence

With empty capacious containers
the living entities
arrive arrogant
and depart desolate,
in between turn into
greed slaves to snatch
the unearned fortune,
getting sucked spellbound
within abyss of temptation.

In the inferno of
corporeal passion temporal,
the frenetic flare
laced by luring lust
debases the fervent feeling
of platonic pining,
but in blooming love
it can sparkle sublime
with the patina of penchant.

The chase of mirage
in the deceptive ego desert
etches the fragile footprints
of delusive dominance
with sandstorm trajectory,
but the squall of strife
over the dune of dwindled life
subsides in the inner space
of latent love configured
in the conceded cauldron
of self-less surrender.

In the blazing realm
of connived conflict
sane senses of sobriety
turn into cinder,
flaming the fiber of prudence,
but the shower of sagacity,
spurting from love fountain
with divine flamboyance
douses the fire of disdain
and
with the allayed ashes
fabricates the framework
of cordially congruent
epitome of existence.

I Am

I can accept many things cordially
Old, new, history, science, philosophy
And at the same time, I can't accept many
Beliefs, disbelief, truths, false hypocrisy

I'm human by flesh and blood
I'm wielder of my own thought,
A conductor of a good and bad sort
Independence is my manners fort

I'm not a robot, dogma is not a fixed staple in me
So no feud is applicable in bringing peace globally

Premium MemberGetting Ready For Halloween: You Are Cordially Invited

Invitations have gone out to one and all,
On October 29 there'll be a ball.
It's Halloween inspired,
RSVP required,
To do so simply text, or tweet, or call.

Expectations for this year's event are high,
Preparations were begun in mid-July.
"Movie Monsters" is the theme,
And raw film footage will be seen.
At midnight "Dracula" suggests he may drop by.

The location is "The House on Haunted Hill",
"Frankenstein" said if he's free to come, he will.
"The Creature from the Black Lagoon"
Will join "The Mummy" for a tune,
And some hip-hop by "The Blob" is on the bill.

Other horror picture legends will be there,
And such appearances by some are very rare.
"The Fly", "The Thing", and "Nosferatu",
And if "The Phantom of the Opera" opts to,
This year's bash will be a smash beyond compare.

Disclaimer: Yes, dear readers, I realize Halloween is traditionally on Oct. 31, but that falls on a Monday this year, and Monday is not a good party night.

Birds of a Feather

Sporting in lightening spell bounds of nature
Caressing the coolness of the peaceful sky
Worthy stake embellish wings adventure
Cordially exploring weather so bright

Two placed up on high heaps wings sojourn
Innate drives mount the hope cum disturbed winds
Fright of possible fall is thereby spurn
They are the airborne rocking the headwinds

Masterminds of the muse behind aircraft
That clothes human envies to flying
Through necromancy braced up in witchcraft
Beyond imaginable horizon

Both enjoys the openness that caress the grace
Which journeys them along peacefully in space

Ebony Tongue

though they sought the gentle verse
a wracking pain drew up their purse
as thoughtless sovereigns hissed their curse
the dollars drained; their feign- rehearsed

this tragic dismantling
ever-torn fabric seams
flowing a pious demand of the feed
groveling majesties
planted their effigy
cordially under the pew cushion seats

stating repeat
loving the myrrh
silent decree
ebony spurs

Premium MemberThe Holly Tree

Like a baseball in a glove,
I took my place in the holly tree.
From here, they must come and listen,
It's a grand slam... I shall speak cordially.

I brought enough food
to stay for weeks
until my simple message is heard,
digested from I, who's mild and meek.

And so they came,
authorities, family and friends
to see a spectacle in a tree;
Time moved slowly as did more attend.

I spoke my words,
peacefully;
"They are out to get me,
with numerology!".

Though deaf ears listened
 with arms outreached,
"Please come down,
we are hear to help", spoked amicably.

So to the ground
I made my way...
I was running the bases,
but it was not my play.

And this is where my journey began...
Hospitals, jail and doctor's rooms!
My message was never heard,
as it was left up in the holly tree tomb.

Premium MemberDear Milt

The sun is shining, the sky bright cerulean sea
And I am writing a letter…a letter to my future me.
The pandemic is over, so it’s time to pack up for a trip
Hey, Milt, no time to be giving yourself any pouty lip
Because you are living on borrowed time, you see,
Approaching the mid-eighties, not much time left for me.
I guess you are remembering the last ten years or so
Some wonderful times if you recall, not many more to go
You are still lonely since our wonderful Deborah died,
But you have cultivated friendships, O yes, really tried.
It’s good that you are still in your own home and thriving
I see you are not as productive now, but you are striving
I also see you have lost some of the lilt in your stride,
But, time hasn’t diminished your ever present self-pride
Slow down now, my future self, and let me catch up
I must deal with this most recent arthritic flareup
So, I’ll close this short letter and put it in the mail
Hope it gets to you soon, next time I’ll add more detail.

Cordially, Milt

Premium MemberSunflowers Now and Forever

Sunflowers bloom beneath a tinted blue sky, white dollop clouds in
Undulating fashion, hovering over yellow petals and deep golden seeds.
Nestled in soil slim tall and beautiful, birthing cordially for the
Floriculturist in all of us. A wide expanse inside a garden, they
Loom, over plants such as Gerberas,  Lilies, Carnations and Limoniums;
Open your window take in the resin scent of their lace. They are a
Wonder of nature, a gift from Mother Earth herself. To name a few,
Echinacea apricot rainbow, Emilia tassel and echinop globe thistles,
Reviving each year with renewed strength they bring us love and beauty .

Mortimers Pub

You are so cordially invited to
witness the drunken fool as he
tries to explain his life to
a bar stool which refuses to
answer his pleas of a
attention. Every night he
gives his chair a name and
loves it for as long as he
remember to.
Next to him we find our local
party girl whose life everyone
has entered, used, and left
never to return. Every
Thursday night she
Watches the fool try to
coax the chair to bed
Then gives him a free ride
if the night is slow.
Lately, though, they’ve
been joined by the
divorcee’ who’s trying to
pick up the bartender
so she’ll stop feeling lonely.
She sits at the end of the bar
watching as he walks back
forth serving others. If he
appears to be getting too friendly
she calls him over for a refill
and keeps him nearby.
Others fade in and out, day
to day, but the regulars
are permanent fixtures, like
the pool table light, never
to be removed until broken
or dead.

Gangster Fight

Blood- freezing gangster fight
That would Death cordially invite,
Showcasing the weirdest might,
Far into pitch –black night,
Imprisoning every candle light,
No noticing of their plight:
The travails crossfires ignite,
Combatant lips and breathing tight
Over what was scarcely a slight…
Their murderous will at stupendous height!

A longing to shoot everything on sight;
The dirtiest of blood smears on white,
When this is far from right
Even to a close by perching kite
That would its prays smite
And not feel contrite.
