Darting here, there, and about
Dash, too, young footed;
Whilst there above, through whose lines
Sleek, swift, a winger's
Is gleaned, too, too obvious
What, envy, attracts!
The outcome? Flocks as playful;
Who act as mimers.
the fog rolls in
on little dog paws
it sits looking
over beach and island
on silent haunches
then springs up and moves on
Dear Copy Cat!!!
Look in the mirror and tell me who do you see.
A reflection of yourself and not me.
You can't take my likeness, my style, vibe, or energy because
the universe knows the true authenticate me.
You can't get anywhere trying to be someone else
just know you are missing out on yourself.
You have comprimised, your value, and put your life on a shelf
My God the desperation smells.
The world will never value a copycat
embrace your self, that's where it's at
Learn to love the skin you're in
it's a compliment to God, and thats when you win

Where people never ever see

To change into a fearsome ape.
Or maybe we both raise a smile,
His silhouette's my crocodile.
Then with his hands, i flutter by,
When i'm his shadow's butterfly.

That the world we're living
Are filled with people
Who only care about fitting in.
So afraid to stand out
We walk around in crowds
No one wants to say
I'm different and i'm proud.
Can anyone really say
That they don't care about opinions
Stand out from a crowd
And not be a minion.
Follow your own dream
March to the beat
Stand up in the chair
Instead of sitting in the seat.
So, only be yourself
Cause you were born original
If copying is a crime
Then most citizens are criminals.
Paint from the sane
You could not, you know!!

You blink and its dark out
She could move on like a car past a drifter

Wrong decisions stare back at you
Rather shake a princes hand than spend a day or two with me.
Standing on her parents shoulders
I look down sitting on the ground.
Why do you want to be my friend? Why do you want to be in the skin I am in?
Or living my life that's fitting me? Aren't you pleased? Are you where you want to
really be?
Yes we were created equal but you are you and I am me and it's the uniqueness
of each that best defines our special qualities.
Don't shorten yourself by following the pattern I set; you lessen the chance of
changing the earth with your own original mind set.
Why do you mime my time with your different flare. Don't be ashamed of your own
skin or your textured hair.
Don't waste precious minutes breathing used air, but show who you are within
your atmosphere.
Remember it's cool and ok that you want to be friends with me but be yourself,
who you you really are and then you can appreciate all of the wonderful things to
share while you get to know....me.
