The yeses i left unspoken

How often have I hesitated,
poised on the brink of "perhaps,"
before unknown paths
that whispered my name.
And there, where the threshold opened
in fevered silence,
I denied the wind its wing,
consecrating the moment
to the still womb of my refusal.
The "yeses" I left unspoken
are grains of light
falling from Mary's womb,
while time holds its breath
in the eternal pause of the Annunciation.
They are Peter’s trembling
on the cusp of the rooster’s crow,
a flickering flame
gathered by forgiveness,
reforged into stone.
The "yeses" I left unspoken
are unseen wounds
in the body of the risen Christ,
traces of nails never driven,
silent as Veronica’s veiled face.
They are Gethsemane’s agony
stripped of words,
the sweat that drips blood
among the gnarled roots of the olive tree,
forever awaiting a dove.
Yet even those unspoken "yeses"
rest in the heart of eternity,
like seeds in the deep furrow
of untouched earth,
and already they stir,
woven with grace,
in the mystery of an hour yet to come.
They are hands brushing the hem,
the blind touch that heals,
they are God’s patient waiting,
brighter than any word unsaid.

I could not whisper the story

Tongue touched,
a diaphanous zephyr of ephemeral desire,
rustles the parchment of our sepulchral scripture,
where our connubial covenant is inscribed,
in the cryptographic ledger of the damned,
and the whispers of the ancients,
echo through the labyrinthine corridors,
of the underworld.

Your lips,
a vermilion velvet of hyperemic passion,
anoint our union with the haematoid blood of Elysium,
consecrating our entwined destinies,
within the cryptic cenotaph of the heart,
where the lethiferous weights of existence,
hang precariously in the balance.

Together,
we waltz,
hand in hand,
through the tenebrous tapestry of Chronos,
our love an ephemeral eclipse of solipsism.

In this eternal,
ephemeral dance,
we are the cryptic ciphers of the nocturnal,
our love a funeral pyre that illuminates the desolate,
luminous landscape of the Chthonic River of Styx.

The desolate wasteland
of destitute deprivation,
traversed in tortuous trail
by my jagged life,
trying relentless
so long,
so very hard,
to flatten out
anguished angularities
of serrated mangled mind,
swirling scrunched
in the egregious
whirlpool of indignation.

Sucked into sordid abyss
of despondent delirium,
I searched out sedated
for indifferent me
the possessed passion path,
leading besotted through
the pulse of collapsed portal
to my hollow heart,
not yet filled with
the arctic mist
in prolonged dreary winter
of despondency.

The spring of yearning
came on the sly
with fervor fragrance,
drifting in furtive flutter
on the delusive wings
of transient moments,
flowing out
of the fervent flowers
of my blooming garden,
where you had flown
like a beguiled butterfly,
created the cadence
of surreal symphony,
suffusing me.

The tune harmonized
with the mesmeric music
of my longing,
enthralled emotions
danced entranced
on the ripples of rhapsody
that rolled resplendent
between you and me,
to entwine us evermore,
consecrating the cryptic concept
of metamorphic magnetism,
called love…

Premium MemberThe Art of Patience

In the desolate wasteland of deprivation
Traversed listlessly by my indigent life
I tried so very hard for so long
To smoothen the angularities of our bond.

Swirling in the egregious whirlpool of indignation
Sucked into the abyss of despondent neglect
I searched in vain for the path to your heart
The feeling of dismal denial made me run away.

But had I cultivated the art of patience and stayed on
I would have seen the butterfly of yearning return
Flitting in the changed time on its dreaming wings
In my sensuous sky with the lattice of your charisma.

With the whispering wind it would have created the music
Harmonized with the rhythm of my heart
Where longing would have danced with ripples of rhapsody
Roll between you and me to entwine us forever.

Consecrating the renascent craving called love
You would have weaved the design of desire
On the tapestry of heavenly togetherness
That would have stayed unfurled till the end of time.

Theology exists above and beyond the Church
Holy Orders create an esteemed priest from a humble man
Everlasting life surrounds all those who believe

Consecrating bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus
Heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit watch over
Under the guiding light of candle, Monks toil
Revering wise leadership of Pope, Bishops and Clergy
Christians receive blessings, giving tithes in honor

The desolate wasteland of deprivation traversed
by my indigent life that tried so long so very hard
to smoothen the angularities of the obtuse mind.
Swirling in the egregious whirlpool of indignation,
sucked into the dark abyss of despondent delirium,
I searched out for myself a path of passion within,
leading through the pulsating portal to my heart,
not yet frosted in the perennial winter of despair.

The spring of yearning came in hour of awakening,
soaring on the dreaming wings of the silenced time,
stalled in my satin sky where you flew like a butterfly,
its fluttering cadence created a surreal symphony,
harmonized with the rhythm of music of my heart,

consecrating concealed concept of craving called love.
You made it diaphanous weaving the lattice of desire
on tapestry of longing to stay unfurled till end of time.

At dawn, the air was tinged with the smell of impending heat

Best friends make the best spouses!!
Last night apart was totally overrated. Bachelor boredom.
Uptight? Not by a damned sight. Can’t wait to marry my soul mate!
Everybody’s looking so dapper! How unusual!

Mom and Dad walk with me to the garden, where I see you…
Oh my, do you look like an absolute goddess!
Over 100 degrees under the chuppah; thought we’d be the supper!
Nuptials, circling and consecrating each other, vows, true love and joyous tears

Indivisible for all time, joined as a family, my wife and I. Wife? Husband? Wow.
Nibbling the amazing food here and there while making the rounds

Jubilant and giddy while taking pictures after; the pictures show it!
Us alone for stolen moments here and there
Night fell; we drove off into the sunset with the Blue Moon rising behind us
Ending in sweet togetherness on and off all blessed night

Valiantly Their Souls March On Home

Fight to the death
From sword to fiery ash, from honor to tale engraved stone
That they did until their final breath
Oh, the places that they'd roam
From soul to eternity in the abyss, from the crack of every bone to the life they had always known
And the tasks they'd undergo
To finally find that place called home
Listen, to the tale that their loss would bestow
From glory to the shadows, from the bash of every shield
To the meaning that they yield
From victory to loss, from their deaths to the banner waving in the breeze
To their burning corpses consecrating this bloody battlefield
Still to this day if you listen to the wind you can hear them cry in agony as the drum roll beats echoing beyond the trees.

Just Like Romeo As Juliet

Pitter patter their tiny little feet; velvet...
His moon'beams, dashing through a dream
Going nowhere although it seems ? Consecrating
Her corridor's white walls; another's breath this shadow
Clinging feverishly unto the glass; chimes, in their bells tolling
Knowing's intrigued his mouse while nibbling upon, a piece of cheese
Silent these castle halls her mirror, she speaks ? Love's rafters keen's kitten....
Craddling sanctimony's stars elixir of life autumn's child: centuries, so softly sleep.

Phoenix Rising

PHOENIX RISING

like eagles flight from earth to sky
transcending heavens aura
regenerated by nimbus light
obtain new life-- reborn to never die

renewing time and suns realm
consecrating ‘raptured’ paradise
crested feathers crown golden mould
sapphire eyes beneath seven rays overwhelm

disambiguous in flighted sphere
removing obstacles and mortality
we beg and plead to understand
how you rise above your predecessors spear

Heaven Is Crying

Crystals of reflection shatter on earth’s countenance,
for Heaven is crying,
drenching the misty shroud consecrating her face
in sobbing percussion.
Liquid satin rolls down withered skin
and sensations are set alight
in the dance of icy fire.
With the tingling aroma of melancholy,
all time ceases to exist during hypnotic rhythms
consoling a heart without beat.
In a trance, I taste Heaven’s decadent sorrow
mingling with the salt of my own tears…

Enemies of the Peace

Enemies of the peace
Are not consecrating the life
Tampering with the nature
Crucifying the childhood
On the sidewalks
Burying the chastity
In the brothels
Killing the light
Before coming the dark

Enemies of the peace
Adoring the wars
Kissing the poverty
Dreaming with the famines
Clapping for catastrophes
Destroying everything
Schools
Hospitals
Synagogues
Churches
Mosques
Temples

Enemies of the peace
They want to uproot feelings
To extinguish the flaming longing
In the hearts
And burn the growing yearning
In depths of humans

Enemies of the peace
Robbing the dreams
Jailing the tears
Deforming the colors
Crushing the flowers
Turning off the hope

Enemies of the peace
Not knowing the love
Not appreciating the values
Not believing in the peace .....................

Beyond the Veil

Sacral veil that shrouds bright hopes, dark fears
Screening altar that christens so deep a bond
Scrolled with the innocence of carefree years
Sacrificial shutter signifying all self-serving interests will abscond
Separating from the corporeal ties that correspond
Shade shielding truant desires from the dawning light
Mantle that merges burgeoning stems into fertile frond
Curtain hiding fawning beauty; maiden's honor not to spite
Mysterious tapestry woven to purposely slight, then seemlessly delight
Universal symbol sanctioning fealty, consecrating fidelity
Satin awning whose placid eaves opprobrium doth disquiet
Temporal cloth lifted; two souls span the bridge to immortality
Ceremonial threads relegated to the scrapbook of blanching time
Cherished patent that spawned a new love in it's prime
