Today is the Special Day we've been waiting for. It's Christmas. And I am glad to be a part of it. It is a beautiful day and glorious for the Christ was born and we celebrate in style. It is the most perfect day in the year. Red, Green and Gold are the colors of the season. It has not snowed yet, but it's coming I'm told. Yes, this is my favorite time of the year, There's Love, Music and eating and all just perfect Joy. Thank you, Jesus for being born on this day. Thank you, Jesus for just being. Thank you, Lord for coming into our lives.

                                                                  Hallelujah, Halleilujah
You are the only King we have.

Premium MemberCome On Now

Come on now! You can’t be serious!
Take the Christ out of Christmas….
Not here in the great US of A --
Like taking the cork from the core
of a baseball. Or the sweetened lard
center from between the rich chocolate
cookies. It’s UN-American Macy’s! It’s
sacrilegious, beautiful STD Hollywood
(look but don’t touch). Thinking to do away
with long standing fond tradition, is tantamount
to Spiritual Sedition! For such thought your Act
of Contrition say: An Our Father, eat 3 Oreos, and
12 Hot dogs at the next World Series.

Premium MemberCHRISTMAS MESS

May we be blessed to understand
one of the most beautiful messes we make…
(which in itself is a keepsake)
is the mess we leave around the house
once we’ve eaten, unwrapped presents and played…
on Christmas Day.

So I suggest after the celebration is over…
before this holiday fades into the past….
that you sit and enjoy the mess a while…
and not clean it up too fast.

Premium MemberSimple Christmas Memories

a few balls
on skinny limbs
of tinsel

a most
humble
christmas tree

I look back
at photos
child to teen

it was the
christmases
of our youth

these old photos
remind me of
growing up poor

they remind me
of joy from hearing
christmas carols

they remind me
of family reunions
with festive foods

a time when
grand-parents
were still with us

a time when
we were fulfilled
just being together

that beautiful
old pathetic
christmas tree

bearer of
loving memories
that will never dim

Premium MemberChristmas Cabin

In my mind- I recall a place beautiful in winter, a log cabin nestled deep in the isolated woods. Father, took us to this wonderland at Christmas, decorated inside and outside with lights and a tree. A snowy retreat that only exists now in my memories, yet, I only need close my eyes and I am there again.

Premium MemberMadge gives Krampus a Piece of Her Mind

Mrs. Claus had a beautiful cousin named Madge
She acted like a cop, though she had no badge
She discovered a Krampus one day in the alley
Gave him more than a piece of her mind, did not dilly-dally

The Krampus had never seen such a beauty before
He acted like he cared, and winked at me; I was holding the door.
I guess I told him, Madge said as she stomped into the house.
The Krampus gave me a wave then stared hard at her blouse.

Premium MemberI am a balsam fir tree

Each of my limbs is meant for adorning
With beautiful lights and jolly decorations
Ribbons flow around me, never warning
This is the time when love touches in sensations
I still remember the joy of the squirrels and birds
When I lived in the forest, beside the oaks I love
For the ache in my heart, there are really no words
But I must sacrifice my quiet life for the One above
He is worth more than many of my green hands
I am only one of this Jesus’ many fans!

Premium MemberHOLIDAY SING ALONG

It’s time for a sing along
Engage and feel the belong
When you feel down, just do a sing along
The holidays are about coming together in joy
Blessings to see
Don’t take it from me
Just observe and see
The Eggnog being right
Sugar and spice nice
Feel the Christmas love
All provided from above
Laughter breaking into cheer
You have entered the Christmas atmosphere
Cheers
Christmas preserver
Lifting my Eggnog glass to all
Hold the Christmas warmth near
Merry Christmas Cheer

"A King deserves His full name~Christmas. Xmas is not good enough." By Poet
I love smelling the home-baked cookies, and eating all the wonderful goodies. The tree is decorated with balls and lights, beneath the nativity makes one look twice. The word "Xmas" makes me see red, it should be dead. The word is "Christmas" to be spread, do not be misled. To the king, gifts you can bring.
