Christmas Cabin

 
In my mind-  I recall a place beautiful in winter,
a log cabin nestled deep in the isolated woods.
Father, took us to this wonderland at Christmas,
decorated inside and outside with lights and a tree.
A snowy retreat that only exists now in my memories,
yet, I only need close my eyes and I am there again.
