by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged
we wandered earth like a lost ghost
fire of desire in our heart raged
for peace we wandered coast to coast
synced not to music of the spheres
by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged
we sought solace among our peers
mental battles ceaselessly waged
in the flow of time, body aged
we were but a dead man walking
by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged
stark haunting with dark fears stalking
shift to stillness made us stronger
heart sang, when from thoughts disengaged
choosing to suffer no longer
by ego upstaged, soul’s light caged

Yes! day and night, inside my roaring shop,
pounding my heavy hammer ceaselessly
against the hardened anvil Poetry,
I ply tough steel into a pleasant shape.
Working words cleansed of cheap and easy trope
which would debase my art’s due quality,
I craft a blade, or else a spade, to be
the prying prod of clever penmanship.
But sometimes, in the silence of sorrow,
my forge sits still, uncluttered and unmanned.
My arduous tasks exhaust me, and I say
“Let what labour’s left be done tomorrow!”—
For when my mind and vision wallow bland,
It’s best to rest and recover for a day.

Love, since I first saw you, you are a dream scattering through my thoughts,
like a river of light flowing ceaselessly through the valleys of my silent mind.
I try to forget you, if only for a day, to find peace in the silence of forgetting,
but my heart refuses to part from you, anchored in your eternal longing.
Since my heart began to beat in your rhythm, I am a prisoner of longing,
for your laughter is the symphony that fills my days, and your smile, a meadow of dreams,
a living painting in the gallery of my soul, where each glance is a promise,
and, love, I just want you to know that you are the source of every smile I wear.
In the quiet of velvet nights, when stars weave stories about you,
I wonder if you too listen to the song of my heart, which finds its peace in you,
a longing that burns eternally, like a lighthouse illuminating the path in the darkness of time,
always leading me back to you, where every moment becomes a living poem.

Cloaked with

charity
clashes against
commitment as
carnality
ceaselessly
craves for

criticized for

collaboration
caused by lack of

cries out in
confusion for

continual

Opression
Too oppressive for comfort, the proximity
Life with its array of shades, hues and shadows
Encumbered by words said and unsaid
Sentiments unspoken, muffled and silenced
Confusion vine like, slowly and surely rooting, sprouting to spread tentacles wide
Deadweights holding back the soul..too many
From floating onwards to free falling,
Like castaways, entwined and entangled by spiders, nets, not of the earthly kind
Webs carelessly conceived and constructed
An elaborate facade of untruths
All consuming darkness, of the immoderate quality,
Enthralled in its own gloominess, the absence of light, subsumed by madness
The creator and those who ceaselessly perpetuate, vacuously

I've cried enough tears till my eyes could weep no more.
Pain, a mere consequence of love—
felt sometimes when it's here, other times when it's gone.
Given at times, taken at others.
To heal, we must learn to forgive ourselves,
to endure rather than run,
to grow even in the harshest conditions.
What is life without the will to strive,
to serve and, when it's our turn, to receive?
Life is but a pendulum,
swinging ceaselessly, offering both joy and sorrow.
So we learn Amor Fati, embracing what comes,
and Memento Mori, remembering what must end.
To live as we are willed,
manifesting the glory and grace of God.
How can we fulfill God's will if we refuse to shine?
Whom do we serve when we shrink from our light?
What benefit is there to those we love,
if we dim ourselves for fear of shining too bright?
To love is to teach.

Someone told me... "You look like you're going through the most..."
Was it that bad? I didn't realize it....
My frustrations, my anger... always tucked in... never present when it matters.
It seeks the light when it's already done... when I'm depleted, destroyed, delayed...
It sits quietly for fear of disturbance...
For fear of what it could mean...
But what if...?
What if it was the sanctuary?
The freedom
The upliftment
The change needed
The whip into shape
What if?
What if a let fear drift ceaselessly away?
Drip through me
Expunge out of me
I don't need fear
Fear needs me...
And I no longer want to be needed...

without fear since no one is here

My body's not a stone, unyielding and cold
Nor is it wood, unfeeling, and old
It's flesh and blood, with needs that must be met
Rest and relaxation, to rejuvenate and reset
Don't be a slave to labor, toiling ceaselessly
For when you're gone, your efforts will be but a memory
Those you've worked for, will call you a fool, in death
For neglecting your own needs, and sacrificing your last breath
Find solace in leisure, and joy in life's delight
Savor the fruits of your labor, before the darkness of night
Take a sip of wine, let music move your soul
Dance and merry, let your spirit be made whole
Don't hoard treasures, you'll never live to enjoy
Be moderate, and decisive, let wisdom be your employ
Let go of hatred, and malice, for they'll bring you pain
And lead to heart attacks, and a life of regret and strain
Life's short, enjoy it, while you may
Do good, create impact, but don't overdo, come what may
Consider your health, and your maker, in all you do
For a life of balance, is a life that's true.

Aesthetic expectations, quomodocunquize,
An exasperating farrago of marketing lies,
Conning client desires,
While promising celestial skies.
In the "Selfie Era," so condescending,
Filters sculpting phantasmagoria, never-ending—
Painting a majestic illusion,
Regality of beauty, a fleeting delusion.
"Ageless," a dream that transcends all streams,
Flustering the mind’s membranes, it seems;
Cajoling artists, ripping through pockets,
A glamour tornado that ceaselessly rockets.
Embrace imperfections with pride,
Challenging the conventional tide.
Luminance flows from deep within,
"Mirror, Mirror, let self reflection begin".

Step into splintered sunlight
broken beams flash
across bare, silhouetted flesh.
Above
Father-Sun forever scintillates,
a deep and ancient ember,
giving ceaselessly to all
wanting nothing in return.
The trees, they dance
in verdant splendor,
leaning lazily, they sigh
with utter contentment.
Their leaves, a chorus
of flapping green,
each one moving to its own rhythm,
closely listening to the wind sing.
White stars illuminate my eyes
and echo through my soul.
Vibrations shudder down my spine,
utterly with rapture so
cosmic and cyclopean,
spinning through the wheel-vortex
of my open amethyst crown.
And with sweet natural bliss, at last,
under holy bodhi tree of life --
copper-domed and ancient,
grown hoary and sere
through countless millennia --
my buddha-mind will yet arise,
through the heavens,
past the skies,
and slowly gaze
with wisdom eyes
upon the all-expansive Whole.
This worldly plane is just a school,
a dream where all is mind.
Be present, aware, and most of all,
compassionate and kind.
For everything in this world is one,
the Universe is inside us.
If pure of heart, we seek our truth,
the Universe shall guide us

And then one day, I chose to start,
A journey deep into her heart.
To search for reasons that tore her apart,
To heal the wounds, mend the scarred.
To my surprise, a child I found,
Caged within, without a sound.
Behind four walls, with eyes so bare,
Yearning to speak, with so much to share.
But each time I neared, she'd retreat,
A quiet dance, her steps discreet.
My heart reached out, but she'd withdraw,
A fragile distance, soft and raw.
I searched for the scars, engraved deep within,
Whispering tales of battles they couldn’t win.
Each mark spoke volumes, of sorrow and despair,
A silent cry, longing for someone to care.
The agony was terrible, even for me to fonder.
How could a child endure it? ceaselessly i ponder.
She has walked alone for miles, i couldn't help but wonder
As her heart screamed louder, the deeper i wandered.
Now I couldn't wander more, as my heart broke to her this way,
So I stepped out of her heart to bring solace to her pain.
But it broke me when I saw her lifeless and still,
Lying on the deathbed, in the body that was mine to feel.

Summer breeze, bones at ease.
Schedule clear, mind clear.
Belly full, tea at hand.
Love and cat both sitting near.
Hawks aloft, quietly.
Bats asleep, naturally.
The half remaining moon climbing
up to the Eastern horizon.
Cedars busy not rotting, cattails busy
decorating, ever so briefly, the not-there air.
The wind shifts...mint and meadow flower.
The winds shift...now the horse manure.
The Dào speaks and whispers,
roars and mumbles.
Her lessons ceaselessly
thread through Named and Noticed;
silk offering pearls.
Weaving warp through weft,
her unbounded Echolessons
knit the Fabric of Life to the
web of Space, of Time.
The wind shifts...playground sounds.
The winds shifts...I’m not now around.

Love is living without dying, a flame,
Eternal and bright in the shadow's embrace.
A phoenix that rises, forever the same,
Defying the darkness with radiant grace.
It's the heartbeat that echoes in timeless space,
A river that flows through the valleys of time.
An endless horizon we ceaselessly chase,
A melody woven in life's gentle rhyme.
Love is the breath that keeps hope alive,
A testament to the souls that survive
oh lord, I am sure
that love is living without dying

A spark ignited when our paths first crossed,
Your knowledge kindled, my ignorance tossed.
From a timid flicker to a steady glow,
Our bond, like embers, began to grow.
Your wisdom blazed, a guiding light so bright,
Illuminating truths are once hidden from sight.
In learning's heart, our spirits intertwined,
A sacred fire of mentor and mind.
But time, relentless, feeds on mortal flame,
And even the wisest cannot remain.
Your light now fades, yet lingers in the air,
A warmth remembered, beyond compare.
The pyre of knowledge you so proudly built,
Now, it smoulders low, leaving me with guilt.
For lessons missed and questions left unasked,
As twilight falls on your final task.
In ashen whispers, your teachings persist,
Through smoky memories, too precious to resist.
Though you are gone, your spark lives on in me,
A flame of wisdom, burning ceaselessly.
Your absence chills, yet warms me all the same,
For in my heart, you're an eternal flame.
I tend this ember, with reverence and care,
Honouring the light we used to share
