The lost mirror of humanity’s soul, covered by helix threads
Or a creature who would destroy the wall of man and beast
Who would rip apart man’s olive crown for the kingdom of nature

The man was neolithic,
Awesome was his might;
His soul was rough and rugged,
Twas made of Neolite!

Caveman preps for dating female mates
As he puts on fresh skins and pelts
Caught that day since everything was free
Oil from animal musk still ooze from pores
(To allure the delicate gender favors)
Killing prey is not exactly PETA friendly
ASPCA might have something to say
Millions of years hence so not to worry
Cave men speak Ugh which is short for ugly
He is going clubbing with his handy stick
Nowhere near Fifth Avenue I'm sure
A not so delicate creature blinks at him
Smiles from the bush with perceived approval
One bonk on the head is all it takes
He drags her by the dirty knotted hair
Back to his cave to live forever more
As husband and wife in ancient splendor
Life was simpler back then

A twig snaps in the bushes so many feet away
A scent of danger, a waft of wild beast comes near
Cave man grunts, moves closer to the fire
Hunched body turns, prepares more wood
Steps towards the open flames security
Fear is the only comfort in the forest
His company is the wilderness revealed
And becoming dinner for some savage animal
At this moment moving stealthily away
Daytime comes with angry wasp attacks
Brown leather skin resists
Later on there is a different odor lifting
Flowers not given names remain the same
Ferns hide a female form in search of berries
Slipping noiselessly through jigsaw underbrush
Bare ugly feet tread lightly with the mud
Black hair matted in the style of the day
Jagged teeth don't help her image much
Cave man runs after her with yum yum on his mind
Takes her as his wife informally from behind
Love at first sight is glorious in primal times
Mosquitoes remind them where they are
Manners are in short supply

The dark dense Amazon,
Gliding glittering river,
The enchanting nature,
My camera - the most lucky one,
To get a first shot of nature at its peak,
My footsteps drawn towards green,
My eyes looked never down,
Over the edge I stood,
Just a line to fall,
He caught me firm,
We rolled down the rocks,
Finally a glimpse of deep blue eyes,
A tall majestic terrain with long strands
He escalates from one branch to another,
How swift, carrying me,
A magic so quick,
The vision of him in my eyes,
Trees and skies sang on my ears,
Before we could land,
He landed in my heart,
In a beautiful stone cave,
At the verge of a waterfall,
Scented breeze lovely flowers,
A romantic night under stars,
With full of love and gestures,
I glanced him,
A rustic wild kiss prolonged,
A mesmerizing wedding in the dawn,
Amidst the jungle roar,
I married my Caveman,
My name is Jane,
And he The King of Apes ‘Tarzan’.
