They died in silence, but they died
They cried in silence, but they cried
They shrieked they shouted, who knew?
You ask why know, what could you do?
But you focus on some trendy cause
A life under a lamppost, to peer applause
Outside the light, the monsters roam
I don't see you straying out of the dome.
You live in a bubble, a bubble others made
Its a shallow pond in which you wade
confirmation bias, and a wrong path
Few people leave it, few do the math.
One day the fists will rattle your door,
You'll plead for reason, you'll ask "what for?"
So, investigate now, let the circle extend
When the mob refocuses, every man needs a friend.
I wrote this poem, after I read Raymond Ibrahim
He talked of places where some lose, some win
Lots of conflict of which I knew zero
I can't really help, but he's a hero.

The greatest snakes is not in the woods,
Rather, it lives in the family
Or in the circle of friends.
In this life, whether in work,
Family, feelings or friends
Honesty is still the best policy.
Those who are not tried in the fire,
Are worth not for gold but a metal
They become Judas, Ananias and Sapphira.
The love of money always betray trust,
It compels to do the heinous crime
Of abusing public trust and always tell lies.

Man suffers in life
because he takes
so seriously, what
the gods created
for fun.
He's entangled in
his own carnal desires,
which keeps him in bondage,
unable to progress his soul.
Life is a merry go round
and earth is the playground.
Where man can be amused by
his carnal desires, achievements,
enjoyment, social status
and his ego.
Man became a lover
and slave to these things.
Which brought upon
himself, his own greed
and suffering.
Forgetting where he came from,
how he got here, and
where to go after his
game is over.
Man must be stripped
from his name, career,
possessions, and his personality
in order to find his individuality.
Without ever knowing this,
he will always be the cause
of his own suffering.
He must detach from
his mortal self and return
formless back to the light,
from which he came from.

Poseidon blew up a hurricane without any pause
He loved the conflict and the worry it caused
Hoping to cause a Tsunami in the Florida Keys
Stop it! The other gods begged, “Stop it Please!”
Poseidon was a god of his own making, one of a kind.
He did not pay attention to any of them, paid them no mind.
He had his agenda, and he was ready to do what he had to do.
He stirred up the water until it turned dangerous and azure blue.
Come on! The other gods said. “Give the earth a break,”
But Poseidon loved confusion; desired a disastrous earthquake.
He stirred up the waters so hard, the sharks turned tail and swam away.
Loving it that he had caused turmoil and consternation today.

That Day
The guns are silent, and the smoke which filled the air, is long since gone. The sounds that permeated the scene resound no more as they did That Day. The blood-soaked ground has been cleansed by time and weather. But … the frightful horrid memories will forever linger in the minds of the survivors. It makes no difference of where nor when those happenings occurred, for every armed conflict since the beginning of time possess such details. Reminiscent tears erode the conflicts’ causes, but the uncompleted lives of those who died remain damning monuments to the futility of all those collective causes and the madmen who still create them.

Nostalgia, it's a fruit
that doesn't rot...
Always present,
always bitter...
it's not thorn
not even rose,
but in the soul,
always causes
gashes... !

Standing up for Minorities
A minority is black, not white.
A minority is she, not he.
A minority is alternative, not straight.
A minority is poor, not rich.
A minority is powerless, not powerful.
A minority is homeless, not housed.
A minority is addicted, not clean.
A minority is immigrant, not resident.
A minority is mother, not father.
A minority is sister, not brother.
A minority is unwanted pregnancy, not birth.
A minority is clean air, not pollution.
A minority is rising tides, not still waters.
A minority is extinction, not existence.
A minority is over-population, not subsistence.
These causes make no sense.
They have neither rhyme nor reason.
Expect not God's defense,
if you blast out curses and commit holy treason.
The unrighteous knew not God,
so they made laws for themselves.
They campaigned for justice,
and unwittingly chose hell.
"Get right with God," is topic "minority."
change your focus inward
and the topic of worlds will be dispelled.

What causes me to love a poem
Is one that lingers in my mind,
A poem of a kindred spirit kind,
The kind that makes me feel at home.
A solemn poem that makes me cry,
Or one with clever wit and flair,
Or one with sentiment to share,
A poem that causes an awestruck sigh.
The best would sparkle with romance
The kind that Chris Green writes to prove
Superlative his words of love,
Melodic rhyme that woos one to dance
Under a starlet diamond sky
As poetry whispers in the wind
A sonnet forms in mind to send
Along with dreams to wayward fly.

It's been proven that sex is the leading cause of people
A mind-blowing discovery that might result in sex being illegal
To restrict its activity
Put people in captivity
It's the scourge of mankind and womankind and beagles

Accursed thing-cravings
Covetousness that prevails
Abiding not in God’s will
Cleaving to self-might
Absence of God’s leadership
Cause my spiritual defeat.*

What causes one to fall in love;
perhaps it’s caused by moon above,
or gentle breezes giving shove;
what causes one to fall in love?
What causes soft and gentle sighs;
perhaps the beauty in her eyes,
or just some dream that we surmise;
what causes soft and gentle sighs?
What causes hearts to beat so fast;
perhaps her scent as she walks past,
or just the die of fate as cast;
what causes hearts to beat so fast?
What causes passions to ignite;
perhaps the calmness of the night,
or just the need of love’s delight;
what causes passions to ignite?
What causes one to fall in love;
I ponder deeply thoughts thereof;
perhaps it’s merely life’s behove
that causes one to fall in love.
