Another typical insipid day
the sweet, crimson glowing ember
falling revealing the lustrous serenity 
of kaleidoscopic skies 
Elysian whispers around 
my remaining canvas of arid
Gossamer and prosaic filled voids
replaces citrine, saffron nirvana
Bodies surrounding shimmer effulgent colors
I'm yet to remain in my dull ashen-sparked cave
A sudden delirious shriek 
gleeful, exuberant faces
twisted into pale onyx terror 
An apocalyptic doomsday

Creating damages that will cause a hole
A powerful bang, pulling down the pole
The tree has fallen, no place for the owl
A U-turn becomes a continuous roll
Causing so much effect to break the bowl
Long lasting deviation, making the toll
Young soul affected, or of nation’s goal
Scarce invertebrates for the hungry mole
Major change, devastating to the whole

deliciously planted
uprooted

the sky is tinsillated, stars replaced by screwy bulbs

and to top it all off – mind you, like a cherry on top

a fat man in a red suit is flying through outer space

I saw a pigeon;
I heard a ' bang!'.
There was no bird.

I saw a plaice; 
I heard a 'splash!'.

Onward now to vanquish the behemoth
And bequeath the cataclysm unto your kindred
Some squishy doom lingers
On that lithe aquiline figure in the distance
Guttural pinks cannot fathom
This species of maritime tranquility

As anchor splashes into ocean
Waves kiss splintering crevices
Beneath the moonlight-bathed rebellion
Of scoundrels squabbling over air
While the captain slumbers beneath
The bellows of his brethren

Cataclysm of Light

First,
there was an exploding sound,
everyone looked around,
then the plane was going down,
the captain heard
his co-pilot utter a curse word,
but before he could take another breath,
and prepare himself for death,
the plane exploded in a cataclysm of light and sound,
and moments later,
only debris hit the ground.
