Two hearts blend as one,
Soft as morning's gentle light,
Bound forevermore.
It is that man
In the shadows
The moon lights up
It is that man
Underneath the sea
The cracking of the sky
The patches of the heart,
Love is felt easily
Feelings are formulated
Maturity takes its place
Truth is rare
Loyalty is tested
Implementation of the strategy
The construction of the heart,
It is that man
Who's heart cannot be found
The movement of the scarcity
It is that man
Who's heart is buried
The rising of a soul
The patches of the heart.
A brilliant white dove, soars across prisms of dazzling lights
through the seven colours of the rainbow.
First the fiery red like flames, spread across the sky
doused by glowing orange streaks, like scattered autumn leaves.
Transcending time, these colours change doves' white feathers
while passing through yellow streams shining down on earth below.
Reflections of green and blue, splashing like an ocean wave
a kaleidoscope of beauty, with every swoop and soar.
Spectacular swirls of indigo, with violet hues
colours magnified, by this dove of peace, quite unaware.

No artist could ever paint such colours caught in flight.
A truly lovely poem I have read,
Spoke volumes ‘bout the power of the pen.
At times our thoughts on paper must be said
Before they fly away, we’ll capture them.
On paper then we see the passion inked
With pen in hand words scribed across the page.
When reading we can see how these are linked
Once in our view, these words will never age.
Yes, poems filled with lovely sentiment
To touch our hearts and soul the author’s quest,
Engage the reader is their one intent.
She opened the bay window to better see the swans
They encouraged tranquility; inspiring peace and love.
The neighbor’s garden is gorgeous in April.
She took off her reading glasses to get a better look.
The sky is perfect today, a marvelous color of blue.
There is a purity in the air, an indescribable ambiance.
She leaves her coffee for a few minutes
To find her camera, hoping to capture this tranquility.
Chromatic cascade
across the land
sporting a cavalcade
of roses, parrot tulips,
irises, narcissus
and I look out over the
painted mountain
to revel in the
wildflowers waltzing
in a casual breeze.
Atop the verdigris
the flora brings
serenity to my spirit
and I grab my
paint-box and canvas;
it’s time to capture
the season’s rebirth
once again.

I stand bold and put on my fly attire
Word remains my bond
Low vibrations are for liars
Elevating is now dire
There is no going back
The universe has spoken
I can only rise higher
Celestial deities presenting signs,
On how to grow wiser
His eye is on the sparrow
Sings the southern church choir
Sweet music of harmony
Elemental universal sounds transpire
Composing earth wind spirit water fire

Let them sing songs of mystery
Fill your soul with history
Hear sounds of philosophy
Be charmed with rhymes noted
Tell others and become devoted
With words written down as a slogan
As they capture the mind of a poet
Wavelengths of perfect pitch
Tones whole and mellow
Notes filled with harmony
Seeing through your ultrasound
Complete and very clear
Speaking low and softly
Gently caressing my soul
Your depth of sound
Reaches into my soul
Together an orchestra of love
Apart there's only silences
This day I ask let me be,
Your woofer so all will hear
This sound that has
Captured Me
Droplets of rain dripping down your cheek
Caught by my hand whisking them away
This heart has found its lost love in you
My hands are now yours this body too
Forever you will always be mine and I yours
No poetry ever written could replace our souls
Nor could dig as deep into mine as yours
Our blood now runs through our veins as one
Capturing each moment together and forever
Neither life nor death will tear apart this love
Place the sun back into your eyes and end this rain
These feelings of my heart have been placed gently into your soul
Caressing it each moment every second of every day
Not one could ever reach into it and steal it away
For we have locked it safely away never to be opened
The combination hidden deep within our souls
That keeps it locked never separating our love
Through life’s adventures we will fly together
You my right wing and I your left with our bodies attached
Sailing through the clouds through rain and stormy weather
Together and forever always as one
Poetry is not just words but thoughts and memories
Each of us blending together through our minds

I have never met you yet, I have become close to you

Flamboyant search for a woman who had lost her mind.
Luckily she was outrageous and quite easy to find.
Her rainbow hair and the braided elephant she rode
Were clues easily deciphered, faster than Morse code.
She wore a turquoise hat, with a noisy penguin on the top.
She shopped at every store, and bought every broom and mop.
She was loud and happy, and she sang and danced pure joy.
She was amazing and funny, and she delighted every girl and boy.
They said she was crazy, the naysayers, the means, and the moody.
She was the happiest being in the village, our own delight, Miss Toody.
She was funny and cheerful, and made everybody have a happier day.
We captured her daily, but every night, we let her squirrel herself away.
If this is a woman who has lost her mind
Then more of us need to, for she was truly always kind.
If this is a woman who needs to be put in a cage,
Put me in with her, for to me she is all of the rage.
