Premium Member Tighten with a Screwdriver

I addressed a Canadian goose.
He had five screws. Three were loose.
He opened up his bill and said,
"Help me tighten up my head".
I said, "I see why you're so loose.
We'll need more vodka and orange juice".

Mushrooms

They were all out standing in their field
with an ass or two and a few moose
along with a stray Canadian goose
when someone let the Appaloosas loose
not a welcome sight nor pretty view
while the moose who cud did slowly chew
the well-trained colt did not bolt
or even buck to shuck us
the goose didn't give a honk or hoot
but the asses kicked up such a ruckus
and if mushrooms you have half a mind
to seek (not the magic kind of stalk)
be aware take care of where you walk
as there by the end of the week let me remind
the field was knee-deep if not chock-a-block
with what the livestock left behind

Premium Member Watch Out For the Heron

Watch out for the heron, warned goose named Duce.
When he honks at you his spittle is loose!
How will I know him?
I asked Uncle Jim.
Feathers louder than Canadian Goose!

Premium Member No More Duck and Cover

No more duck and cover or hiding in plain sight.
No more hiding your heart in a cave
No more running from your Canadian goose self.
It’s time to come out and face the dandelions

The rest of us are showing our heart
And gladly, especially me. Mine is out there for the world
To pluck, to primp, to stomp, to slap and to pinch.
Your feelings should be on the clothesline.

Ready for anyone to see if they wander into the yard.
Your heart should be sitting on top of the roof, smiling.
No more duck and cover; no more running from your emotions.
I will help you if you like.

Premium Member Friends

A Canadian goose...
Became friends with a Colorado blue spruce.
The former a teacher,
The latter a preacher.

"Why are you sad?", asked the bird.
"It's cause of the world news that I heard!".

The winged creature than began a prayer,
And the branched conifer felt it in the air.
"I pray each of your needles live as one,
As your journey has just begun."

The kind words were so appreciated,
The towering fern joined the educated;
"And you I wish your wings will fly,
With God's blessings in the sky."

Relationships can bud be it cat and dog,
Or of peace and harmony between bug and frog.

Premium Member By the Bay

Down by the bay,
the Canadian goose flew
Landing on the green grass
Watching everything go by
It stood without movement
As if to wonder about its flight
As the water lapped the shore,
Reflecting the skies so blue
An old place for me,
now seemed to be new
Colorful boats are docked
Near the stage for bands
Those summer nights I visited
     - Here I am again -
Looking toward the lake
As I sit and wonder too ...
