Cahoot Poems | Examples

So what’s wrong about hippies
Peace and love and hair
Tell me if there still is
Magic in the air
Tell me what’s the substitute
For the peace and love
Can we make our own cahoot
On the terms above?
Out on the streets and then
You are back with stuff
Act as if you have a plan
Though your plan’s a bluff
And you know there is no goal
Other than a peace
And some love is there for all
What’s more worth than this?

Atonement

In a land where ignorance is courage,
The politics of faith is raging to hush the sage,
For if the moth will fly to dig the truth,
The dragons and tigers will ply in cahoot.

I was once a moth with desire for a mind,
In a land where almost whole is blind,
But the dragons and tigers just wouldn't empty their seat,
For streams of treasures can be reaped like a wheat.

So in fear that my shine can untangle the folds,
They threw flames at my feet; they spent tons of golds;
They sent all their senses to cast the bane of defame,
So even the young minds won't remember my name.

Is this really the land that i dreamt about,
Where the sound of a common voice is ticket to die?
Where only the dragons are aloud to shout,
And the kittens for long be defamed with a lie?

Damn are the dragons who play fire with their hand,
For the lambs will suffer the scourge in this land,
May the eye of atonement strike the heart of their soul,
So justice will reign in a land that's for all.

TUBULAR AND JOLLY HE SAT IN THE SNOW
HIS EYES MADE OF BLACK BUTTONS AND GLOW
ENERGETICALLY MADE, BY THE HANDS OF A CHILD

"What a wonderful morning to build me a chum "
said the child as he picked, packed and put with his might
He poked in a carrot then packed it real tight
but spoke not a word as he stood there, chalk white
He showed him two tonsils, one tongue and some teeth
all he got was a grin and a stare, " call me Pete "
Crunch, crunch went the boots, they were all in cahoot
if you hear me Chum please give a hoot !
It was an owl by far who heeded his call
white as pure snow but not quite so tall;

Rollaway days made for children at play
It was Christmas and oh, it had to be done
inclining an ear he said, ''be a good chum ''
as he turned up a grin, he sang with a hum.

Premium Member A Convoluted Story

Looking mighty cute
Dressed in a suit
He was on route
To pick up a loot
Ever so resolute

Arrived at the institute
He thought he heard them call him a cloot
Or maybe it was a galoot
He really wasn’t absolute
These days his hearing is acute

They said he had to wait over by the chute
They had something to compute
Just a problem to troubleshoot
So they had themselves a moot
He thought they meant we don’t give a hoot

Meanwhile after adjusting his boot
He sat and ate both halves of a grapefruit
Then while waiting he played his flute
With his good eye watching things convolute
He too has his moments to be astute

They looked intensely involute
The teller in her jumpsuit was a beaut
The manager a snoot and a brute
He could tell by their salute
They were in cahoot’

Hold’it! Hit the pause or press the mute
His patience growing ever so minute
He could tell there’d been a fraudulent substitute
Persecute Prosecute There’s going to be a lawsuit
Someone’s been tempted by the forbidden fruit

Honk

Principle's of space,

prosperity in grace,

property for punctually pontificating the pronunciation of the alien race-

A laughter so adorned it's grate!

Slaughter of the new age-
...and your daughter-
40 years from reaching the 4th grade,

what a wild cahoot all because of the heart of spades-
...because this is just my face,

this is astonishment and be-gorgeous courageousness!

This is fauna and flakes and forgiveness,

one done for another two trips to the store for your mother,

why ride when you can collide with anybody who's under?

Are we, really from the Sea?

Because we are adapted to this lanky sort of breed-
the land and the forest and the deserts unite inside,
like reckless looting,

drowning down like a likeness that can flurry with thunder-
as the news breaks the stalling core,

the new found movement can now count, and recount a time that I didn't groove?

The Naughty Little Puppy

The Naughty Little Puppy

She's lucky she is cute!
All day long she's chewing things.
I've yelled so much I'm mute,
still she's chasing kids on bikes.
She's lucky she is cute!

She chewed my favorite boot
The first night on Christmas eve.
She even pooped on route
To our home that fateful night.
She's lucky she is cute!

My daughter's in cahoot
With this naughty little dog.
They yell and bark and hoot.
She feeds her from the table!
They're lucky they are cute!

The leash works to recruit
The children to her side, but
Her training's in dispute.
Surely guidance is required.
She's lucky she is cute!

Oh that naughty little puppy...
She's lucky she is cute!
