Delusional confusion with a side of freedom

Settling into a meadow brought about mellow flows of green and yellow assembled by memories they float freely on the breeze glimmering clearly off the trees lay reflections of memories like frailed Braille burnt on my mind my life looks back ancestral eyes look down on me through me and within me the realization of life before here and after here becomes crystal clear the land changes without fear the veil that once covered my eyes filling my life with lies has been removed so I set forth on this new land no longer tasseled by the lies distributed by media's eyes I am free to be

as form, we dissolve
in the stream of bliss
as divine magnetism, we engulf
body urn so yearning

to connect

who on earth can name
the resultant rapture splash
brought about by love’s embrace
fixating attention thus in meditation

in an unbroken continuum

Though we reveal deep truths, they remain concealed,
for we speak of how bliss pheromones mingle,
brought about by power God Himself does wield,
known only to those souls, whose eye is single.
Our delineation offers not the taste,
of rapture ineffable upon us graced
and so though we willingly share, few can pair,
being those select souls who are self-aware.

Premium MemberBoon of the moon

We write in metaphors about cool heat,
brought about when polarities entwine,
boundless rapture that has our heart upbeat,
rekindling the flame that makes us divine.

Nectar drips through our energy pathways,
as boon of the moon, gentling the sun’s fire,
manifesting within all rainbow rays,
notwithstanding our wayward ego’s ire.

From root to crown, in a bliss stream we drown,
as imagined boundaries disappear
and though there really is no countdown,
in timeless time light of God does draw near.

Shower of magnetism in-pours by grace,
as steps toward God we slowly retrace.

Premium MemberDazzling in Appearance

The vestments of Aaron the High Priest stood out
       Their striking beauty brought about

heightened expectations from the hushed crowd
as the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies in a cloud

of incense, carrying the names of each tribe on his breast
seeking G-d’s pardon, that His people He bless…

trembling, humble – though dazzling in appearance
Aaron pleaded Israel’s case with iron-willed perseverance

Above is a stylized description of the entrance of Aaron, the
High Priest, into the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle, on Yom
Kippur, when the Tabernacle was carried from place to place
during the forty years that the Israelites' sojourned in the
     Sinai Desert. (3,300 years ago).

Love, what is love? It means so much
To many it might be the love of a child
the joy of seeing them smiling at you
with happiness brought about by
reaching a goal fully pleased with themself
as they show you the badge or prize they won.

to others it might be a kind word or action
they can relate to by winning your approval.
so many different ways love can be shown
there's love of a special place you hold dear.
maybe where something fantastic happened
like an engagement to someone you love

The one who won your heart oh so long ago
who you married and raised your family with.
now that was a time so precious that tears form
in your eyes as you think about all of them
And you realise how lucky you are to have
them and their love sharing your life.

Love means so much in different ways
no two ways are the same each is special
so when you go to bed give thanks to god
remembering that you owe it all to him
and live out your life in ways that honour
him for with his blessing you are who
you are and always will be

The Dream

Flaming rocks fell from the sky scorching the earth & boiling the seas. The fall out of the event was truly massive taking the life of living things as far as eyes could see. Smoke hovered in the sky like rain clouds obstructing the view of from where the fireballs came. All I could think is, this is how the world ends, in a hail of destructive fire rain. The flames brought about immeasurable pain & this was evident when I heard the screams. It was a nightmare that I couldn't unsee & so unreal that I thought it to be a dream. Bodies burned like a field of scarecrows as if they were nothing more than sacks of straw. I never imagined that I would ever see this day all the while wanting to forget what I had saw. I awakened in a pool of sweat with tears running from burning eyes. I was shaken but relieved and thankful to be alive for I had dreamt the world had died.

And Then Remember Faith And Truth Brought About This

Marveling at the deep darkness of sunless days
Abject idleness of rivers that do not flow
O' lord bring us more of your true brightened ways
Give unto us again, your holy righteous glow
We pray Heaven is truth of our holy reward
As we in glory walk upon its golden streets
Walk ye in sincere faith, yes we know it is hard
But in Heaven's silver halls angels you will greet
Dawn will gift true love and a beautiful sunrise
Years of happiness and more than enough pure bliss
Give unto the Dark One a most shocking surprise
And then remember faith and truth brought about this
A stunning tomorrow full of laughter and love
With manna from Heaven and dear gifts from above.

Memorial Day, 2023

Many soldiers have died for the USA.
We're paying tribute to those people today.
When those soldiers died, it brought about plenty of sorrow.
They fought and died so that America could have a tomorrow.
Those soldiers fought bravely until their lives came to an end.
They weren't just soldiers and heroes, they were also friends.

(I dedicate this poem to those who fought and died for the USA)

Terror Ten Years Ago

Ten years ago today, four innocent people in a pharmacy were shot.
It took just thirty something minutes for the murderer to be caught.
The two employees survived but the pharmacist and his customer died.
The murderer is in prison for two attempted murders and two homicides.
The murderer shot those four people because of some medication.
He left two families without fathers and caused a lot of devastation.
When the victims loved ones were informed, it brought about misery and tears.
The victims are still missed by their families and friends after all of these years.
I was in that pharmacy and left just five minutes before the killer came there.
I was shocked and disgusted because what happened was horrible and unfair.
Because of a tray of Oxycontin pills, four people were shot and two of them perished.
But those two men haven't been forgotten and they will always be cherished.

(Dedicated to Stephen Lovell and Richard Sommerville who were murdered ten years ago today on May 23, 2013)

Premium MemberWave of Fantasy

Engulfed within wave of fantasy
My heart basks in wondrous ecstasy
For sweet moments, serenely triumphant
Midst prayers for global peace, graciously vibrant.

Surfing along wave of fantasy’s zest
My faith hopes for miracles, indeed best
Beholding special children soaring in their flight
Surmounting disability toward great milestone height.

Plunging into wave of fantasy with bliss
My soul goes to the depths midst contentment-abyss
Enthralled with warm partnership marked by caring kindness
Brought about by divine fellowship around relationship's goodness.

Sailing with wave of fantasy’s pleasure
My spirit thanks the Lord for love-treasure
Always available for sharing with delightful mirth
Bringing sublime blessed* wealth from heaven to earth.

*Psalm 89:52 Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

Premium MemberAll I Intended To Be

Looking back over one's life
thinking of your thoughts far back
what intentions were in your mind?
indeed had you a sure track?

Leaving school at the ripe age of 15
any job would do, to get a wage
no real ambitions had me at that time
had no impulse but to turn to the next page

Decades have now passed on by
but amazingly feel it was all a plan
there in the divine providence so grand
each step has been taken like a span

Like a flight through the air
before landing on the flight path
you feel so high above the clouds
till your eyes see the approaching grass

Such an adventure it's all been
from birth till earth's end shall be
'all I intended to be' brought about
a little seed became one large tree

(Having listened again to Emmylou Harris 's album 'All I Intended To Be' from a few years ago inspired this piece looking back on life and all it was intended to be.)

Wills of the Mind

Some works are brought about by the mind veiled
Lungs breathing, eyelids blinking, the heart beating non-stop
Are done in the mind asleep with no will

Emotions flow here and there with no guide
Though we can build dams to have some directional flow
Emotions still ripple through gaps and cracks

Other works are done with a lonely will
Most are born into the world by the bodily mind
Pleasures and darkness are its short-lived dreams

Some are designed by the rational soul
The foundation of all man-made castles and towers
Morals and duty are its drowsiness

A few come to light by blazing spirit
A silent pearl that is within every plant and tree
Silence and mystery are its daylight

Intent and works come from sleep and awareness
From battles between water and soul, sleep and spirit
You must choose which to follow in these long battles

The 25th Anniversary of Stacy Brooks' Death

If you're wondering how long it took for a man to die after crashing a car, five days was how long it took.
The car crash killed him and his ex-wife who was named Stacy Brooks.
He was driving over a hundred miles per hour at midnight, that was really fast.
Stacy died instantly but her ex-husband died about 120 hours after the crash.
Stacy has been dead for the same amount of time that she lived, twenty-five years.
She was a very special lady and her death brought about misery, suffering and tears.
Stacy wasn't stuck up like some other girls who I went to school with, she would talk to me.
It wasn't fair when she died so young, my friend has been dead for a quarter of a century.
Her life ended in 1997 on the seventh of September.
She was a unique person who I will always remember.

[Dedicated to Stacy Brooks (1972-1997) who died a quarter of a century ago today on September 7, 1997]
