Brilliance

Challenging house lights on our street,
that sheer brilliance of outer space.
Brash stars shimmering in the heat,                                       

ADHD Believe in its brilliance

No I won’t be afraid to speak my mind.
I’ll speak it with empathy though, I promise to keep it kind.
No I won’t be contained by negative thinking.
Not anymore.
All of those thoughts are to be mopped up off the floor.
No, thats not me, 
I am persistent,
consistent, 
resistant,
a brilliantly bonkers personal assistant.
On the outside I am anyway.

Under the bleak sky of a hopeless night, where stars hide their brilliance

Under the bleak sky of a hopeless night, where stars hide their brilliance,
two lost souls wander unknown paths, seeking their light in the abyss of silence,
each unbearable day unfolds like a canvas of shadow and silence,
time rolls on and the wheels of destiny crush dreams under their silent weight.

A delight that I had never known

Humble, Powerful, and All-Sufficien
The brilliance of Jesus can never be destroyed.
He is still working in the 21st century.
He is still saving lives and doing miracles.
He is present for anyone who calls on Him.

The genius of Jesus can never be destroyed.
His words will live on forevermore.
His deeds will infiltrate any organization.
His passion will deviate

Every star has its story,  
Every star has its glory,  
Called forth by the Divine,  
Shaped by its journey through time and space.  

Jewels of the night sky,  
I wonder if they ever die.  
They are the painter’s inspiration,  
The creative mind’s gateway to a treasure chest.

Knowledge might at least try
to include the humility of Wisdom
as leftbrain dominant thoughts
co-arise rightbrain subversive feelings

We have not truly hoped 
and actively prayed for wisdom
in our poured out words
as in our paltry anthro-privileged deeds.

They, on Othering hand
and wing
and side
and hemisphere,
demand and invoke more
more
more knowledge
to overwhelm with debate
about indecent deeds
using words like toxic weapons
of predation,
too often
