Baboon Singing a Toon Horn Haiku

when singing out of toon
sang like a newborn baboon
banging with a big spoon

body had been bionic
when out of tune used a tonic
idiocy was ironic

while a profound pimple
we would pop simple pimple
on breast became a nipple

out of bucks got a bang
became urinating orangutang
who while washing sang

we were on Trump train
who was man without a brain
had been a big pain

TRANSMUTATION

TRANSMUTATION

I never considered transmutation
Yet things look so different today
Now reflecting an altered view
Demanding serious contemplation
Some radical change is underway
Feeling I’m something really new
Genetics affected by perturbation
I’m almost an alien form, in a way
So to my original identity, adieu
And for most others, a fascination

Flesh and blood, and part electronic
My nerves connect a different way
I feel alive and very strong, it’s true
Because parts of me are now bionic
Such rapid evolution one must obey
As a new species, were are very few
The way it happened is quite ironic
A new TV series, what could I say
To play an astronaut and a hero too
Six million dollars makes me iconic

Premium MemberI Am Old

The time has arrived so soon,
When I am eighty-year-old,
When I am bald with shining head,
When I have nice smile with new dentures,
When I have new hearing aide and new pair of glasses,
Will you still love this new bionic man?

Will you wait for me at the door when I go out?
Will you stick around even I give all my time to work?
Will you hate me if I forgot your birthdays, and our anniversaries?
I think you would still love me, if you were still alive.

You have missed all the giggles and laughter of grand kids,
You have missed their first walk, first talk, and sweet words,
Although they may be complaining about my slow pace of walk,
They still miss your close embrace and kind of feel sorry about me.

My life is an empty nest now, the kids and grand kids have their own home,
I am lost in ocean hoping to see some beacon of hope,
The shattered stardust reflects our fragmented love in silvery shine,
The love outlives forever in stardust in the mystical dark skies.

Premium MemberIf Our Cars Could Talk

If our cars could talk what might they say?
"Oh boy, it's you for one more day".
"I see that you don't care a lot, you
keep on driving when my engine is hot!"
"Unless you plan to walk real soon, stop
running me on mere gas fumes."
"Please use my signals and don't drive spastic.
This body of mine is mostly plastic".
"I'm not a Mercedes. I'm far from bionic.
Replenish these fluids. They are my tonic."
"Before I pound on one more street, replace these tires,
their truly beat."
"One habit of yours truly grains, stop smearing my
windshield with nicotine stains".
"Keep both eyes on the road and listen out for the weather
and we may have some pleasurable times together."

A face lift here and a tummy tuck there
Pearly white implants and bionic gold hair
A nose job that rocks
Once a hound now a fox
Beauty skin deep just got you a billionaire

Wonder Woman of 2020

She captures your heart with loyalty.
Holds power of living life joyfully.
She’ll be herself with vulnerability.
While fools choose imposters they can not see.

Her bionic ear will bring on smiles
Hearing ice cream trucks from a hundred miles.
Befriends outcasts lacking social style.
Her X-ray vision sees what’s really worthwhile.

She stirs emotion from a heart of stone.
Her presence will loosen your funny bone.
She is a treasure in life to have known.
Call her friend and you’ll never be alone.

Skills and marvel talents are a plenty.
Flys above the cookie cutter many.
A living hero for Maeve and Maddie.
She’s wonder woman of twenty twenty.

The Contemplation of An Augmentation

Living layers of being tugged around scraps of lusterless metal shape the man who was
Or is it the other way around
He can not tell anymore
Improvements or subpar substitutions
He marches on despite his contemplation
The clang and tang of metal on metal echo from his right leg while the muffled thud of organic flesh whispers from his lesser left
He marches on
Imagine feeling where your blood stops flowing as if your veins have hit a metal door yet beyond its frame lay dancing ghost who mock your past
With every augmentation he advances yet diminishes his mortality and morality
Still he marches on
On assignment that must be completed
Computing
The command was entered, a reaction will occur, must occur
His ability for choice is doubtful yet feared
A semi-bionic time bomb ticking its way to a liberating explosion of conscience freedom
Until then he will march on

Truths

As another wench fails to tie tiger’s tail, the bear is let loose again.

Honey was shared, but hearts weren’t paired, so the shark resumes his top fin.

It’s hard to regret Ethiopian whets, and the taste of turmeric sticks too.
Yet all was shut down, when he polished the crown. That fool tried to place it on you.

Fondness grew.

as the absence increased, and emoticons ceased, what was left were tendencies raw. The tendencies come in various hums, while truths stay locked behind jaws, and maybe the draws, which were scantily protected from powerhouse paws.

Hey! Let’s give this sharp dame a strong round of applause!

Let’s sing out her praises, as legions once did! Let’s spring for them braids, and let’s get them nails did!

Let’s

remain sonic, ‘cause her sway is bionic, and nature will always prevail. But prepare thee to cry, because numbers don’t lie, and the scale shows we once again failed.

The tiger’s tail, tied not by the wench, means the bear has been turned loose again.

Antimatrix

Eye in the sky screams "dreams are not reality;" yet it flies impossibly on whirling bionic wings. "the force is a fantasy," laughs the big screen; yet it motions this ironically through ionic streams. "No power in an evergreen," shrills the factory; cutting from the same cloth that had allowed us to breathe. "That vision? A symptom of insanity;" suggests the PHD, and recommends fixing something so deeply rooted by consuming this repeatedly; denying this notion is the very definition of what you suppose we carry. "But don't you want to bee with everybody?" Whisper the walls and empty streets. Could it be that everything is simultaneously, as stone lock and river key? Would it seem that all we need to coax the dread of uncertainty, is to each weave threads of teachings, unique? Bound with an understanding sure as gravity, until we are warm in the cold of infinity, in a quilt of minds set free.

Premium MemberDonned We Then Our Gay Apparel

A keyboard was on a typewriter or piano
Spankings were approved of, rarely condemned
Clothing was 'gay' --- brightly colored
They rolled up the sidewalks at 10 p.m.

We said 'heck' for 'hell' and 'darn' for 'damn'
  Teachers were respected, never disparaged
Left-handed kids were forced to be righties
Death, not divorce, dissolved most marriages

A click usually meant a torn meniscus
Folks shopped in windows and stores
Cash was king; credit, irresponsible
  TV dinners, unanimously deplored

Marathons had fewer than 100 entrants
  Devices were mechanical, not electronic
Nobody I knew took showers, just baths
'Human' meant 100% being, not bionic

Everything written above is true
I swear that it is, doggone it!

Premium MemberToo Late Winter

In long winters
when curious bears hibernate,

When even those few songbirds left behind
are stoically silent
at their least amorous time,

When uneven bare trees and bushes
retire into aptic
dormant
deep naked entropy,

It is sad seasonally appropriate
to barely live outside robotic,
lethargic, biotic bionic
frozenly mechanistic
and yet deeply empathic,
simultaneously.

Then springs Spring!
Let synaptic mania
swell up again,

Open the windows
and darkening doors
to set this home and love
in fresh-incoming sappy order

Resiliently resonant enough
to last through sweltering dog days
of co-empathic musky slumbering
buzzing
drowsy summer,
fat with greens
united,
and not uncuriously uniform.

A Very Noisy Talkative Toast Was Jumping Today

Queen quilt was arguing with prince pillow over a diamante duvet. But diamantes are not difficult dreamers nor diagonal deprivation. In fact it is the elite of every ethos that speaks of a qualifying uneven road surface. And uneven road surfaces can be symbolised by a sign of camel humps. Great. Wonderful isn't it? But a crowd crowing is a clapping chaotic chapter chair brigade. And the interest levels of a queue and a polished but tarnished row of benches is merely apathetical and apathetical is quite pathetic and simply not formed from an array of alphabetically placed turbines. It is to remark that is remarkable but a mark on clothing needs to be erased so stand in a hail storm then. Good. Beetles bashing ball bushes bring baby Bollinger brilliant ballistic breaking bulls. How quite bionic! And the charge from a herd of ducks and minnows can be heard for many many miles. Ha the reached radius of a radish cake meets a pile of serviettes today. Ha the jus is jogging over the plates and bowls. Xxxxx physiological z z z z at forty three herons jiggling around a sun dial charm to twelve aerial prawn photographers playing pin striped positions.
