MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR GRANTING ME UNDERSTANDING
Thank You for granting me understanding of Your Word
Whenever I seek You without being bored
Becoming prayerful along Your provision-rays
Surely learning from Your statutes I taste as sweet apple, not bitter gourd.
Thank You for granting me understanding of Your ways
Whenever I trust You without delays
Becoming prayerful along Your provision-rays
Surely depending on Your answers of yeas and nays.
Thank You for granting me understanding of Your wisdom
Whenever I prioritize You without feelings of stardom
Becoming eager to advance Your kingdom
Surely enjoying through Your spiritual freedom.
Thank You for granting me understanding of Your worthiness
Whenever I fellowship with You without guiltiness
Becoming delighted with Your holiness
Surely repenting of my sinfulness while begging for Your forgiveness.
Thank You for granting me understanding of Your will
Whenever I abide in You without hypocrisy to stay still
Becoming focused on triumphant Calvary’s hill
Surely obeying Your commandments upon Your promises that fulfill.
Thank You for granting me understanding of Your watch-care
Whenever I hide in You without fears’ nightmare
Becoming grateful that You behold me with Your loving stare
Surely praising Your name in my saved-secured welfare.
Thank You for granting me understanding of Your work-winning
Whenever I labour for You without resigning
Becoming strengthened through Your faith-refining
Surely following Your light for testimony-shining.
