Best Winger Poems
Cristiano Ronaldo.
Born in Funchal, Madeira's archipelago.
Played for Real Madrid and Man United.
Now his flair gets Al Nassr fans excited.
Messi is Ronaldo's biggest rival,
always vying to give fans an eyeful.
With a flick and a trick,
both make football look slick,
adding awards into their archival.
Although Messi has the Ballon d'Or awards record,
no one can match the goals Ronaldo has scored.
He started as a winger, but now plays as a centre forward.
When he misses a chance he's known to scream a swear word!

The compact disc now adds full sound.
Our mothers preach from all around.
Explicit lyrics and songs of sin.
We sneak in vodka, some rum and gin.
KISS, The Crue and Guns N Roses.
They play the gym, big hair now poses.
I see my sweet across the stage.
J Geils we dance, rage in the cage.
The smell of hairspray and old spice linger.
We dance real close, ballad of Winger.
The high school dance I sure do miss.
My first real buzz, my first real kiss.
Our parties raged on past the dawn.
The after party still parties on.
Our hidden drinks from all of the teachers.
Come dance with me, under the bleachers.

On some English grass
On a piece of land forever England
Warriors of the realm
Take holy orders, on their Fathers grave
To defend the honour of their local pub
For this is the noble art of Sunday league Football
The crowds bay for blood
Shouts of foul and blind as a bat
The decision absurd
The referee a drunkard
Shouts of bar steward,
And your mothers questionable character
Cleaned up for posterity
The game goes on
Frank, the winger another yellow card
Another fine, I fear he will be barred
Groans for Bill a night watchman by trade
I think he’s a blade (Sheffield United supporter)
But not a very good keeper I’m afraid
Then there’s the striker
Super king Jack, 40 a day and a cough to match
Will need a penalty to score in this match
What about ken, a beer belly full back,
Rarely runs for fear of a heart attack
And slugger the centre half
Likes to break legs,
And still the only guy to sup a half a keg
Smooth talking tommy pulls birds on the six yard line
Greased black hair, and knobbly knees to match
Still Skill is not this team’s forte, for we are Britain’s
Taking part is our religion
Lost another game two nil
But won three two at fighting, brill
Bottom of the league
Fines galore
First Aid in the pub
A good drink after
Enemies in the field, but forever friends in laughter.
That’s Sunday football league
Home to the wife
And Sunday dinner, roast beef and Yorkshire pud
Another bottle of bud
Feet up, settee calls
Dreams of Wembley, and Sheffield Wednesday
Not a bad life for this Yorkshire clan
Here in Sheffield where football began.

Are We Looking For Man’s Opinion? Or God’s Truth?
I often watch the daily news.
And hear about different opinions
and different views.
I can't help but to wonder
when some complain.
That their opinion
isn’t being explained.
Many of the opinions shared,
bring to me a concern...
When it comes to God's word.
Many have their backs turned.
While often, they speak of
tolerance in their living...
Only their opinion...
Is what they’re giving.
If you disagree with them.
You're called a "right winger."
While they march to the
same drum beat and singer.
I don't mean to spread a picture
of doom and gloom.
But a day of reckoning is
coming very soon!
God's word... Which many ignore...
Will bring judgment, when God
comes knocking at your door.
What will "your view" be when
God calls your name?
Will you come to him.
Or will you complain?
You'll be by yourself at
God's judgment day.
When your name is called.
What will you say?
God's view is: "My love for
you will never end."
Allow his word to guide you!
And to be your friend!

Dream peep of early gold rim halo
August riser gleeful in exalted chant
Yield to dulcet chirp from ornate winger
Sunburst orange red splash of heaven
Taunt and tease ocean blue mist eyes
Amber warm rays dazzle pearl clad beach
Revere the hue-rich magic spectra veil

2060 to L.A.
But it is just 280 miles to Nashville, Tennessee
Where I can see the country stars of the Grand Ol' Opry
Like Faith, Alan, Tim and Toby
I have gone mostly country
But I don't wear those boots
I have gone mostly country
My blonde hair is showing its roots
Gone country...There I go
I never really liked Madonna
I tried to Vouge
But I hurt myself
Not much for punk
But I love the Ramones
My bedroom wall was covered
Mom never needed to wallpaper
Floor and ceiling with the faces
Of 80's rock and roll
Poison made me want to talk dirty
Winger, I was only seventeen, but didn't care
Skid Row said I was a youth gone wild
And Bon Jovi said I gave love a bad name
Don't get me wrong
I still melt
When Jon Bon Jovi flashes that smile
And sings me his song
But when Toby Keith asks me who's your daddy (OH baby!)
Make me think naughty thoughts
And makes me have a evil grin
Makes me want to lay my hands on him
Sorry, I guess I am torn
They both make my mouth drool
But I am no fool
I may love country
But my first love
Comes from New Jersey

My Word... Or God's Word?

God's word... Which many ignore...
Will be the "compass." When God
comes knocking at you're door.
What will "your view" be when
God calls your name?
Will you come to him.

Cheese & jelly sandwiches
Straws for short grilles
Pickled feet cannibal's refuse to eat
Frozen snow in your bowl
Dandelions greens I'm hypertension hold the fat back please
Winger washing machine
Candles burning on both ends
When you done dreaming
Wake up screaming
A lance injected a sword slices
Cuttings variables potato salad
What does all this mean
Don't eat food's out of the ordinary???

You could’nt be the real French Martre design,
Must be the modified, Indian Side Winger Missile.
Unpatented still, definitely a loner, non-fissile.
Failed Test flight, poor soul, forced to resign.
Patriot-men cruise, were you not conveniently sidelined?
Three times cat-o-nine tails, You,and One other, on the fight.
A munching cow, bellowing buffalo, gurgle sign.
How ridiculous! place women, above the male might.
Beware! Monica Lewinsky, has her trio transgenic share.
Indra’s Maneka, Love here, Whiskey cocktail there.
Fantastic punch, classic Hillary too did not dare.
‘Fire’ still burns Mehta, her spirits why should men care.

Imagism
the choice to see the right
oh my dear, let me
clarify
the difference between the
lefties, let's give it a try
first, we have the liberals,
quite moderate they are
they believe in rights, but
won't go too far.
next, we have leftists, a bit
more extreme
they want to tear the system down at its seams,
revolution is what they seek
to bring about change
their radical views might be
hard to arrange.
and then there's the
left-winger, they're the wild
child
they'll stand on the street
corner and they'll go wild
they'll yell and they'll scream, demanding their due,
and you'll wanna tear
your ears off before they're through.
So, whether it's 1…2…
or even 3,
Fact is, they're all still
crazy to me,
for i choose to stand
on the right,
where truth, and
God's word still count
for something in this world
that's lost its sight!

one points the finger at the other
telling it that it knows all about what
s/he stands for & on this side
the winger states all the aspects of her/his
parameters & the details, suggestions &
manufactured ways of understanding all
add up to a perfect little box
which only changes when the greater group
says so.
marching in line behind the rest
one winger stares across the way at its
opposite &
with all its ideas & views stuffed in its head it
assumes a
crystal clear focus
having rehearsed all its slogans
having agreed upon all its poses
having put on its lip balm to start
kissing ass all across the board
smiling for the pictures
hugging the babies &
when asked question after question
the winger responds appropriately
with no real thought of her/his own
stating all the things about what they read or what they were told to
say when confronted by
the
machine.
churning, spinning, churning &
make-believing to themselves that there is something
so different about them from those other humans who
don’t believe what it is that they do
or at least pretend to believe---
the wingers define themselves by the
convictions corresponding to the rungs of whatever ladder they are
attempting to
climb &
they are all
just a few blowjobs away from
becoming
immaculate
idiots.

First introduced by God to Noah
the rainbow stands for diversity
for tolerance, for compassion
though today the last two
seem out of fashion
Leave it to a 'fanatic right-winger'
like Mr. Itamar Ben-Gvir
to remind us all, in Jerusalem or here
of heavenly values we all should hold dear
