As I climbed up the ladder backwards
I somehow ended up at the bottom
I whispered in the ear of summer
until she turned into autumn

When my mirror revealed smooth skin
All I could feel was every rough crack
As I moved intently towards the front
I was surprised to find myself at the back

The years had somehow become minutes
My place in the sun, became darker than night
I thought there might be comfort in darkness
Yet, I couldn't sleep with that dark kinda light

I had hoped that life's music would calm me
Instead I became more nervous then hell
When I screamed at the top of my lungs
People's ears, were too deaf to hear me yell

As I thought my mind turned toward feeling
What felt broken became fixed in it's way
All of my worries flowed into my freedom
Within my nonsense I had something to say

So I decided to speak in a whisper
The people asked me not to shout
What seemed like a very sad story
Was not at all what it was all about
Shades of grey flow into many colours
In the end that's how beginnings turn out

Words Whisperer

You’ve swallowed my misery,
My old self, just by a smile;
By letting me feel the mountains move,
You’ve freed me, just by a smile;
My twisted thoughts,
Have been untangled by you, with just a smile;
I offer my body and soul to you, O my words whisperer,
You’ve whispered me a new life, just by a smile;
I offer myself to you O, Jamlaila,
You’ve made me your man, just by a smile.

The rose is enlightened by the dawn’s light
Gorgeous in kind, every scent is still there
Gardener spends hours working on their might
Direct line to the floral realm she cares

Gorgeous in kind, every scent is still there
An approach used from many years ago
Direct line to the floral realm she cares
A kind of psychic beyond the real flow

An approach used from many years ago
She has a perfect talent, yard worker
A kind of psychic beyond the real flow
A rose whisperer is her thunder

She has a perfect talent, yard worker
The whisper of her heart is fabulous
A rose whisperer is her thunder
She lives for the part that’s harmonious

The whisper of the heart is fabulous
Gardener spends hours working on their might
She lives for the part that’s harmonious
The rose is enlightened by the dawn’s light

Hero Whisperer...

This torment...
this courage
exposed...

I will be your
witness...

I surrender
this rose...

my soul feels
your pain...

my body exhausted
and drained...

I cannot weep...
for my strength
has surpassed...

this pillar I offer
a lifetime will last...

...for my wisdom to
you to your soul I speak...

...you are not alone...
let not your love
lost in time of retreat...

...we find our truth...
in this pain - for it
is in pain it is ourselves
we complete...

a journey you need not
travel by oneself...

...hero whisperer is
the inner self...

The Butterfly Whisperer

As we wander the meadow we disappear
into the sun-lapped fields.
There's a scent in the air so sweet and clear
and plenty of flowery yields.
Listen for the sound of Spring's delights
and welcome back each creature.
On outstretched arms butterfly alights;
we admire each colorful feature.
Slowly it flits and flies away
only to widen it's wings.
Back it comes to flutter and sway;
In the distance a hummingbird sings.

There's a scent in the air so sweet and clear
like the nectar in each flower.
Sunshine and new life brings us cheer;
Spring delights in it's power.
Butterflies are wandering free;
landing on outstretched arms.
They're a beautiful sight to see
we whisper to their charms.
As we wander the meadow we disappear
into the arms of April and May.
Singing out so sweet and clear
we glory in each longer day.

The Horse Whisperer

Wrenched, yowling ' Pain I'm in'
buffered th' whisperer to begin
eyes defying whispers of grass
carried the inside pain an rash
mildly bowed to th' whisperer's heart
an cold tears fell down thou art
to feel an shutter thou friends pain
th' horse yet saved th' life of e're
yet lost a leg, one's enough for her
an there it began hence again

Horses shrine hearts define
th' mesmerizing song of vine
Feather up shoulders can tell
how ease hence fell
horseback'd captured skyline rapture
surprisingly found thou art a dutch'er
flew in the woods with that mane hair
an the dutch waved up in air
whisperer hurried to free e're
but thou skipped from thou vein an feather

I Am Heart Whisperer

Alone I lay here in my room
swallowed by the night.
The quiet whispers in my ears
and says it's time to write.

A broken heart calls out somewhere,
somehow I hear their cries.
Another soul fell victim to
another lovers lies.

I feel the anguish in the wind
my face turned toward the wall.
I try to block it out again
but still I hear the call.

Of broken dreams and promises
that someone didn't keep.
I beg the night not me, not now
I need to get some sleep.

Relentlessly it pulls at me
until I rise once more.
I turn to face the broken hearts
all lined up at my door.

I tell them it will be okay,
I listen one by one.
Trying to comfort each of them
before the night is done.

How this ever came to be
there's no way I can be sure.
All I know it comes to me,
I am Heart Whisperer.

                 A Timeless Connection

Where can we find two better hemispheres
Without sharp north, without declining west?
          Whatever dies, was not mix’d equally;
          (From John Donne….."The Good-Morrow"

My dad held a presence, that was clearly outdone
by the stars in the heavens, this I confess…
Upstaged it may seem by other cowboys we've seen
on the stage, on the screen, in the movies, no less..
But in spite of it all, we knew he was one …
A star in the eyes to the ones who knew best…

He was a star in the eyes of this creature he loved
His "Queenie", beloved, who learned from his touch
She trusted the whispers, the instinctual caress
of his hands, of his legs, and the click of a wrist
The tug of a rein or the touch of a wisp
She would bow down, adore him and then softly obey,
to please him, appease him, while he in return…
would love her, so gently….his trust always earned

And all through those days as they stirred up the dust,
the sun would smile down until it would rest
And on the horizon when the sun would be gone….
my Dad and his queen would blend into one

                                         ~

_______________________________________________________________
May they be stirring up heavenly dust together…..
                 Dad and 'Queenie'.....united forever

The Whisperer

This day I call forth, the free souls of the bold
A traveler's script with stories to bravely unfold
Share thy wisdom of truths waiting to be told
Weigh thy kindness to measure one's true gold.

I challenge thee, to a fair battle of one's choice
Accept this, my no enemy with the silent voice
Feel the lost weapon standing of the old known joys
But remember not all we seek, are tears to rejoice.

The Whisperer

The voice whispers in my ear
Filling this empty void with regret.
    It speaks soothing and clear.
    Its words I can't forget...

    "You'll never be good enough!"
    "You're nothing but weak."
"You may think yourself as tough"
"But you are as worthless as the words you speak."

    These acrimonious words remind me
    of my every mistake.

    A constant reminder of
all the sinful choices that I make.

He rules like a mighty emperor.
    His name..."The Whisperer."

The Inner Whisperer

The Inner Whisperer
By Herold Osmond !Owoseb

My words fail to express my joy
But the hope inside I now employ,
In your eyes I see endless wonder
And this journey has led me to ponder;
Now I cannot help but want to stay

Your elegance is beyond reproach,
So I cannot help but want to approach.
You embody purity full of grace,
Which I’m scared I might deface.
I cannot help it; I want you to stay.

Your presence heightens my senses
And so I fail to mention,
That the thought of you cripples all perplexity;
And my heart overflows with peace.
So I cannot help but want to say…

In God’s presence I am complete
But in you I find a love so unique

Race Whisperer

Energy gathering at the line, barely contained and electric
Pulsing hearts and pounding hooves, any moment now…
Catch a velvet whisper
                                                   And run!

Intimate touch of female flesh and solid beast
Melding of two spirits born to ride the wind.
Lengthening muscles, tightening grip,
Focus on the goal lying just ahead, but out of touch…

Chained fury emanates from woman and horse, heads forward
Together in a fiery dance of racing magic and pure desire…
Hold a velvet whisper
                                                  And fly!

Premium Member Bird Whisperer - Dream Boy

*Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near? Just like me,
they long to be close to you - from “Close to You” by the Carpenters

How soothing are your whispers; how loving is your touch.
How tender are your azure eyes, and when you smile, Dear,
my worries flee! You have to know, I love you oh so much -
my Dream Boy, for whom -when you are near – *birds suddenly appear!

Premium Member Autumn Whisperer

Who whispers to the western wind to chill?
and bids the leaves to transform thus to die.
For soon the beat of summer's heart will still,
as flocks of birds seek warmer weathered sky.

Who whispers to the intense sunlight's rays?
to calm its daily dominance of heat
and yield to nights of cool and briefer days,
as Autumn races Summer to defeat.

Who tells the wounded heart the hearth will heal?
with embers' glow of beauty yet to see.
Assuring that the Autumn crop will yield -
a harvest red and gold at time's decree.

Who whispers to the seasons, "You must change?"
This Universe of God forever reigns.

Premium Member Wily Wind Whisperer

The unseen maestro, the wily whistling whisperer,
Cunningly twirls a sway in the bending trees,
Dabs, daubs and draws impasto clouds in the sky,
Lilts, entices, leaves to dance in tune, as it whistles on by.

The field of grass compliant, bends to lithe gusts sly.
Laughing to tickling tongue secrets, beholden in every sigh.
The wind teases waves, torments lakes to ripples.
Their surfaces combed and drawn to rugged stipples.

The wily whisperer winds its way into cracks and holes.
Creating drafts that shake the drapes like ghostly souls.
Defying all attempts to block their breathy intrusion.
You can feel it breathing in and out, expiring confusion.

Oh wily wind, your whispers collude and unwind,
The peaceful slumber of earth and heart entwined.
