The Shout Whisperer
As I climbed up the ladder backwards I somehow ended up at the bottom I whispered in the ear of summer until she turned into autumn When my mirror revealed smooth skin All I could feel was every rough crack As I moved intently towards the front I was surprised to find myself at the back The years had somehow become minutes My place in the sun, became darker than night I thought there might be comfort in darkness Yet, I couldn't sleep with that dark kinda light I had hoped that life's music would calm me Instead I became more nervous then hell When I screamed at the top of my lungs People's ears, were too deaf to hear me yell As I thought my mind turned toward feeling What felt broken became fixed in it's way All of my worries flowed into my freedom Within my nonsense I had something to say So I decided to speak in a whisper The people asked me not to shout What seemed like a very sad story Was not at all what it was all about Shades of grey flow into many colours In the end that's how beginnings turn out
