Best Warts Poems
Warts and all
She made a mistake
when she kissed a toad
No castle or carriage
She chose a rough road
He had a few warts
he wasn't debonair or cool
Others scoffed and they laughed
But our toad wasn't a fool
For love was a potion
He knew she believed
He tried so very hard
With his heart he achieved
For she was so lovely
So caring and serene
concerned only with his heart
Not the places he'd been
It wasn't very easy
it was in fact it was tough
to be in love with a princess
and have less than enough
But she never complained
Not a whimper or cry
She said he was amazing
He was her special guy
So he worked night and day
from the inside he grew
he became all he could be
the Prince that she knew
Yes they found their happy
Him kind and never a jerk
Love indeed conquers all
with a smidgen of hard work
Together they built castles
chariots and other things
Traveled on positive thoughts
and the gifts that love brings
So if you see a toad smiling
know that that toad is just me
a kiss from my princess
thankfully set me free
"WARTS FOR SALE WARTS FOR SALE" YELLED THE WITCH ON BROOM IMPALE
AS SHE BREWED HER FINGER NAIL HER EYES WENT RED AND MISTY PALE
THE MOON LIKE A BLACK BALLOON YELLED, "ITS OVER ! ALL TOO SOON"
ANDTHE WITCH YELLED, "WARTS FOR SALE ! WARTS FOR SALE ! CHECK YOUR MAILBOX, YOU GOT MAIL ! "
There was once a woman
who lived on Sheffield's London road
with greasy unwashed hair
black crooked teeth
and huge wart on the end of her nose.
Her eyes were wild and staring
she had rickets and fleas
had hairy legs and knobbly knees
She stank like a million skunks
she hadn't a bath for 12 years and a month.
Her name is Vera Cooper
She could drink any man under the table
and swore like a trooper.
She once won a beauty contest
when she fell into a ugly bugs nest
she had a tattoo of a sewer rat on one breast.
People would run away
whenever she was in town
but the flies would follow her around.
But you know what?
She had a great personality
was so kind and caring
and gave lots to charity.
We fell in love and raised a family
we're very happy together
and so in love
and go together
like a hand in a glove
She's my angel.
''Well they do say it's personality that counts don't they?.''

My son brought home an ugly old toad
And flushed him down our only comode
My wife didn't see him there
And it gave her quite a scare
She screamed out loud when it overflowed
Do Toads Cause Warts?
By Elton Camp
Touching a toad might make us feel sick
But to give warts would be quite a trick
For toads don’t even have warts to begin
Those bumps are only glands in their skin
That viruses cause warts all experts say
They’re from humans and no other way
Handshaking, infected objects, public shower
All these to transmit the virus have the power
In the skin just some very minor break
To admit the virus is all that it does take
Warts, in a couple of years, usually disappear
Of serious consequences there’s little to fear
So if developing warts you would like to stop
Careful of infected objects and wear flip-flop
And go ahead and touch a toad if you will
Especially if that happens to give some thrill
Abraham Lincoln was America's Unexpected Jesus
Booth spilled this stream of blood along the Mason-Dixon line
Calls for forgiveness and reunion since the Gettysburg Address
Did bring out the better angels of our natures in 1865
Eventually celebrated in Memorial Day since 1866
Few nations in civil wars or uncivil, have a Lincoln or Jesus
Worries warts and a teaspoon
a mosquito lives inside my liver
He escaped from the falling dune
to make me his caregiver
he brings his worries he brings his warts
He crawls through my nose
But alas his passport
my liver makes room
As he feasts on pink flower flesh
To make new
A new cocoon
I feel him writhe
I feel him slither
battle of my gushy mushy internal river
sting my finger for the egg
As sweet and bister as nutmeg
And place my nipper in my ear
Where she too
Will inch on through
On a teaspoon of worries and warts
a bitter taste of sorts
I listen to the whispers
Oh how nice
oh how kind
What a friend
What a find
A mosquito lives inside
Worries warts and a teaspoon
Forever, forever
God emperor of the dune
I am as l am
Warts and all
Qualities , faults
I soar , l fall
Strength , weakness
I walk , l crawl
Mistakes , triumphs
I stumble , l stand tall
Sloping down in gold pursuit
of a bruised city,
sons of nameless fathers
were changing the generic mandate.
I am becoming fluvial
going on a muted odyssey
to find unmarked graves.
Slaughtering
your own lines, in praise of end-
which came very soon;
before the windows altered the moon.
Genes spilled on the road
recalling the wounded
son whose lexicon took him
to war with the meanings.

The picture on the parlor wall captures
A frozen memento of lives lived long ago.
With all its creatures, scenes and features,
Arrayed like animals, in a parade on show.
Dicky bird smiles enticed with cheese,
A mother’s grin, a father’s stern gaze,
Children rebellious, shuffling with unease,
Eyes fixed and staring, to stop the blink strays.
Within its frame, the past forever stays,
An image contrived to hide the blots and blights
Of fall-outs, feuds and fights of bygone days.
All briefly subdued in soft forgiving lights.
Oh, I wish the picture hung on parlor wall,
Captured in truth what was, with warts and all!
When I was just a kid
I loved to play with frogs
I found them varmits everywhere
Even under logs
I'd catch them and I'd hold them
Until they peed on me
Then I'd throw a crying fit
And let them suckers free
Sometimes they peed a lot
Maybe even quarts
Then my mama told me
Them frogs will give you warts
Of couse, I didn't believe her
But, you know how the story goes
For by the time I was a teenager
There were warts growing on my nose
The girls thought I was ugly
So I never got a date
I knew I'd never get married
And loneliness was my fate
And then, I met this woman
Who's loved frogs all her life
She didn't mind my warts at all
And she became my wife
warts & all
he swore when he met her
that he’d love her forever,
warts & all---
sure, it was storybook
nonsense & even at the time
he promised it, she knew
it, but she wanted to believe it
& so she said “yes” &
she fell hard &
the wedding followed with
children following the
marriage soon thereafter.
they attended parties when
they aged a bit, with the
kids at a babysitter’s &
one night she walked in on
him & her best friend who
was sitting up on the counter
in the kitchen with a beer in
one hand & her husband’s ass
gripped in the other,
whilst they lip-locked,
moaning together,
oblivious to everything around
them,
including this woman who
had fallen apart right then &
there.
having turned round to leave
the kitchen, she decided to
keep it inside, for she didn’t
want to get in an argument with
her husband & she also decided
not to confront her best friend
about it, keeping it all inside &
this submissive behavior
increased throughout their marriage
as the years passed.
and now, 20 years later, she
tells the story to her younger coworkers
who have younger significant others of
their own & cannot believe that she has
kept this inside all these years.
while her own experience acts as an
impetus for the younger women around her,
who listen to her because they respect her
& refuse to let the men in their own lives
do to them what has been done to her,
this woman’s life has had a hole that
started as small as a needle prick
in the greater scheme &
has grown into something so large
that it will sooner than later
swallow her whole.

A proverbial virtual Ghost Town

Shut up until next season
Which begs the Question ??
Why if you owned 1 of these Places ?
Why would you ever choose to leave here ?
If you could afford to buy here in the 1st Place ?
Its the kind of place dreams are made of ?
Makes me wonder how great your life must be ?
If this is merely your Parking Space for Summer
This is merely my admission confession of Jealousy
I wonder if they know just how lucky they are ?
I wonder if so 2
My dream time rolling in the money will come true ?
Dreaming is Ok
But I would be lying if I did not admit
Id much rather prefer the real deal
Warts and All
Id rather be Rich than Poor
Good Looking over Funny
Clever than Thick
Tall rather than Short
Six Pack over Layers of Fat & Double Chin
And Oh Yes
