All Hail, the Misguided Soldier, the Misguided Hive

All hail,
The brave soldier
Who stands firm
Like the fickle shell of a snail
Before the oncoming foot of titans

All hail,
The brave soldier,
A ferocious bee
Who strikes his stinger into the enemy
Comforted by fleeting thoughts of heroism
-a safeguarded hive
Thoughts that flit away in the wind
Like windswept Pollen ambushed by desert
-as the bee falls for the cause

All Hail,
The brave invader
Who fells foe for his country
All hail murderer,
Comforted by a noble cause
Sent out on wings of glory to cut down fanged tigers
Purging threats, safeguarding life
	-the hive
All Hail,
Misguided killer
For all tigers are fanged
All people threats
-All people life

All Hail,
The weary soldier
	-sacrificial lamb
Joined out of a desperate cause
A squalling infant, a taunting belly
And the weary soldier
Gives his sacrifice to the gods of the Hive
And prays for rain.

These People

Raging flags fight in the midst of war they are raised
In the presence of blood to be held
High, to dignities and pride to be kept aside
To days and weeks to be spent in fighting each other?
Just because difference of opinion has occurred?
The world is a mess
People are fighting themselves
The numbers are decreasing, and your life is lessening
Though that, you come here and fight
People, most people are mad
They kill and murder innocent living souls
Slaughtering them to this very day
Condemning their lands and taking the only thing that matters
Losing their minds, they purse a young child’s heart
Hundreds and hundreds of days they stood,
Defenseless but they did defend
Their country, their beloved home
And predators, oh vicious predators
In times like this, they deserve to be stopped
Deserve to be ridden from their ability to stand
For how many souls have they ridden the ability to live?
They deserve to be held, fought and punished
These predators, these people deserve to be killed
No difference in opinions have they caused
But a difference of souls they have stolen
To be held and sought the damage that was fallen by their own very hands
Yeah, they’re very hands that God have given not for this
Not to do this
But some people have been given a heart to feel
But those people pressed hardly and locked away their feelings
Those people deserve nothing but Death
Not to die peacefully, to be killed by the same manner
To be given the same harshness
These people should be shown the opposite of Leniency !

We Only Live Once

Why are we all alive?
Why can we walk, when most people can't?
Why can we breathe, when most people need help?
Each and every day, that's given to us.
We take for granted.
Does getting high, really help you enjoy life?
Does getting drunk, and hurting people help?
We only live once, but who knows that?
Maybe we're reincarnated to change our ways.
But instead, we just blow it off.
We make fun of people, who have a disease.
Who are bigger than us, and might even be trying to slim
down.
Who are smarter than us, when they make the most
money.
If we live once, then why do we do these things?
Have we looked in the mirror?
We're human. We make mistakes, we hurt people, and we
hurt ourselves.
We're not fantastic. But we're human. And if we all made
peace, maybe we would have less wars going on.
Maybe people who needs help, wouldn't go out shooting.
Maybe schools would be a lot safer.
But instead, we have wars, troops to try and keep us safe,
and we have even more wars going on in each and every
state.
We're fighting for our lives, that we once took for granted.

Confused Surreal 9-11

Confused Surreal 9-11
     By Dane Ann Smith-Johnsen

While waiting for my car repair, the TV was turned on.
Then one by one before shocked eyes, twin towers had been hit.
At first we thought it wasn't real when tower one was struck.
Dismal chatter bursting, frightful, brought crazed surreal stares.

Then one by one before shocked eyes, twin towers had been hit.
Thick smoke emerged from windowpanes dead silence on each face.
Dismal chatter bursting, frightful, brought crazed surreal stares.
We called the workers from the shop and franticness took place.

Thick smoke emerged from windowpanes dead silence on each face.
While watching number one in smoke, we saw the plane hit two.
We called the workers from the shop and franticness took place.
Together, strangers in a room, united by worst fears.

While watching number one in smoke, we saw the plane hit two.
Trapped people started jumping out like mice between two poles.
Together, strangers in a room, united by worst fears.
And human after human jumped from windows to their doom-

Trapped people started jumping out like mice between two poles.
Frights like a horror movie airing on the morning news.
And human after human jumped from windows to their doom-
Reporters couldn't hold it in and quivers seized their voice.

Frights like a horror movie airing on the morning news.
News flashes disillusionments then changed from bad to worse.
Reporters couldn't hold it in and quivers seized their voice.
The pentagon was next in line. God! Clear it out in time?

Addicted.. the Untold War

You don't know me
We have never met
Yet somehow, your face
before me
I cannot forget
I envision you
Your eyes, your nose,
your mouth
Although you do not exist as
a being
You are sweet to smell
I imagine you are sour to taste
But somehow you make people
feel empowered, addicted
You ruin lives and families
You make babies born needing
you before
They even take their first breath
You take mothers and fathers
Aunts, uncles, and cousins
You take the young ones,
The teenagers so easily
You stop their lives
And I just don't understand
If more people said "no"
If more people had control
Maybe you would eventually go
Maybe you would not even exist
This is my greatest wish.

Crazy Banter.

Hail falls down on the sun,
Our race will not live, so help me God,
Where going to do the opposite of unloading a gun.
We can only win by using force on this unhealthy pod.

Change the movie, even if hailed by critics,
Watch little Molly get killed by a chainsaw,
An absent scream in a scene of screeching crickets.
She we dead before i watched her brains fall.

Sadistic is nothing compared to this,
I the thought, i hate the sappy,
I like the thought of dumb souls slitting their wrists.
The actually screams make me happy.

I love the thought of readers i might startle,
I love the people who know I'm right,
My effort level is actually partial.
I love the people who laugh at life.

Terror In the Night

In the peaceful night
The ululating pierced the silence
The roar of the big engines
Prompted the ears to cock
The lamps all got dull and died
The people all hushed

The thunderous shots
Exploded the silence in the air
They tormented the spirits of all in despair
Obviously in multiple pairs
The boots stamped rapidly
All over the area

Here and there
Fear was so dense in the air
You could cut it with razor
The mothers sobbed in prayer
The children trembled in fear
The fathers languished in despair

Shrill cries filled the air
As doors flew open into the air
Bright torches lit the helpless faces
Dark masks hid the reckless faces
Foul words tumbled out of the dirty mouths
Prayers murmured out of the angry mouths

Furniture were overturned
Houses were over burnt
Innocent people were slaughtered
Culprits walked away in laughter
Children witnessed in fear
Old people spit curses in anger

The sun never seemed to come to life
The People wished it would fast arrive
When it finally obliged
The sight filled their faces with fright
The land was crying tears of blood
Gloom scratched the hearts of everyone alive

Peace

Let us take a stroll,
into this war torn place,
where there is no answer,
and some people thrive on hate.

Let us take a stroll,
as we hide behind a wall,
one you cannot see,
absent of justice or law.

Let us take a stroll,
and pray for all this to end,
rebuild a world of respect,
even if we all can't be friends.

Let us take a stroll,
and question what is right,
the people of this place,
didn't ask for this fight.

Let us take a stroll,
and beg for peace right now,
we need to love each other,
and end this all somehow.

The Spoilers

I believe all people have souls
I believe in people who believe in God
And I believe in all the others
We are sisters, we are brothers
Recent world events have shaken my beliefs
Why are we fighting a phony war
Fueled by greed, by power seekers galore?
Those Sayers of Doom whose deeds deride
American People and America’s Pride
(They have lied – and lied – and lied)
They are the Spoilers who covet and value
Captured land over precious human life
These Spoilers hold hands with other Spoilers
And that’s an ugly, un-American sight
Spoilers are nothing but empty shells
They are mindless pathetic fools
These Spoilers are really nothing
But bottomless, cold black holes
Maybe I don’t believe anymore ---
I don’t believe all people have souls.

Our American Soldiers

To all of our soldiers
Here and abroad
Your bravery is seen
And honored by all
Your caring touch
To the people you free
Your scornful punishment
To those who deceive
You’re doing your duty
You’re fighting with pride
Defending a people
Who know not how to survive
All the small children
With eyes so bright
Look at you
Understanding not why you fight
The freedom you bring them
Comes with a price
So many American soldiers
Have given their lives
Is a life for freedom
And even exchange
Another countries freedom
And American family’s pain
For the loss of their loved ones
Who died in a fight
A memory they will live with
All of their lives
Our county was built
With honor and pride
Without our brave soldiers
We would never survive
To Our American Soldiers
Alive and gone
Your love, life and honor
Will always live strong

Dedication
To all of out American soldiers who are fighting, have fought or died in the war in Iraq,
Afghanistan or anywhere else. Remember you are loved and are being prayed for by loved
ones, friends and strangers. May God watch over you all and protect you and bring you home
safe to your loved ones arms.

Little Boy

The atmosphere which held the mushroom cloud,
on a stoic August morn
devastatingly lethal to a people proud,

Cries of anguish drowned out by a noise so loud,
forms forever etched in concrete as
The atmosphere which held the mushroom cloud,

A grizzly tactic, that was meant to astound,
setting events in motion
devastatingly lethal to a people proud,

Vaporized, in a mere second, no sight, no sound,
as it detonated 1900 feet above the city proper in
The atmosphere which held the mushroom cloud,

Molten glass replaces earthen ground,
as the heat more intense than the Rising Sun
devastatingly lethal to a people proud,

A city, left in a destructive smoldering mound,
one hundred forty thousand, perished from
The atmosphere which held the mushroom cloud,
Devastatingly lethal to a People Proud.

Staring through these bloodshot eyes
Your face still comes to mind
A vast plague of infinite loss
Death settles in on the conscience
Slowly the light depresses down into overwhelming darkness
As the people cry for God’s mercy
But mankind’s endless sins prevent God from hearing their screams
All people soon lose hope
And parish in the eternal flames

Today Feels Like a New Day

The dark blood clouds have left
It feels like the sun came out for the first time
More people feel like they belong
I feel like I belong
I feel like the wars will end and the fighting will stop
The world will see us as we are
Not as fearful, angry, vengeful people
Not as a fat, overfed, country
They think we waste food
Stuffing our mouths with gold, and spitting it out as trash
While other countries starve.
They think we don't care when innocent people die
We do waste money on weapons of blood
instead of bread for the hungry
They see our homeless people and frown,
They do not see our values
We do waste money on big screen TVs
giant houses, and SUVs
That cause drought and global warming
While other countries suffer
As we slouch on our couches, wasting energy
............IS THIS WHO WE ARE?...................
NO! We elected Obama! We are peaceful, not violent!
We drop food on poor countries, not bombs!
Obama said, "We extend a hand to those who unclench theirs.
We will preserve our earth, and American jobs!"
Bush said, "History? We don't know, we'll all be dead!"
I say, " Your children won't be!"
He's past! this is now,
The future looks great.

An Interview With a Soldier

He was just a boy in a foreign place,
Far from home amongst people from a different race.
Fighting a war that many people back home were not supportive of,
Have they forgot the day those airplanes flew into those Twin Towers from above?

How many children lost a mom or a dad that day?
We didn’t start it and we shouldn’t be asked to look the other way.
He said I’ve heard it called a Jihad, a religious war,
He said we don’t push Jesus on nobody, and we not going to allow Him slandered, not on my
watch, not by far.

He said I was in high school the day I watched those towers fall,
And I counted the days to join up, I felt the call.
I felt molested and I remember how it made me sick,
And I saw America pull together, strong, powerful, determined and quick.

I saw the eagle shed a tear, then I saw her talons clamp the arrows tight,
And I knew then, that we were going to set things right.
That’s why I’m here to defend or die,
Cause I still love my country and let her flag always fly high.

War

It was the year of 39,
and for a lot of people it was such a bad time,
for in that year blood was shed,
and a lot of people ended up dead,

For in this time of trouble and strife,
a lot of people have suffered through life,
to hear the planes,
and see the bombs,
and hear the guns keep rattling on,

No-one could stop the war for going on,
even though it went on much to long,
they would have loved to see it come to an end,
but then again it all depends,

People would have loved to stop the men with the gun,
and go back to having some good old fun,
no more death and no more fight,
let the people of the world see the light,

To see people suffer so much pain,
its a shame we could not start life all over again,
the people who start this trouble and strife,
without a doubt should pay with their life
