Best Walk On Air Poems
I am strong
You may simply disregard me
with your arrogant throng
You may treat me with disrespect
I'm still here, I am strong
Why don't you like it when I succeed?
Why can't you be happy for me?
I walk on air, confidently
so, foot loose and fancy free
Just like hope and like faith
and the sureness of birdsong
I know where I belong...
I am strong
Did you want me to be shaking
so scared and all alone?
Feeling lost and so abandoned
with nowhere to call my home?
Does my happiness distress you?
Does it make you feel upset?
That I'm at peace lovin' myself
Livin' life without regret?
You may shred me with sarcasm
You can say I don't belong
You can hate me with your jealousy
But still, like iron, I'm strong
Does my confidence disturb you?
Can you not visualize?
That my words are captivating
and the crowds they mesmerize?
From ancestral farmers sowing seed
I am strong
From hardy men of faith who believed
I am strong
I'm a true wordsmith, spinning words so true
weaving and knitting, as true poets do.
Never giving in to fear or to doubt
I am strong
I know what the love of God is about
I am strong
Building on the faith my forefathers had
I encourage the weak, make their hearts glad
I'm strong
I'm strong
I'm strong

one late night in the grip of a super moon, captivated by the elegance of
the season in an even slumber with bulbs sleeping on the brink of winter.
we surrender our senses to the alluring view and feel of this exclusive new.
autumn in its evening gown, its hibernating blooms, its brittle bark and rusted grass
in repose with sleeveless branches against a midnight sky and in a hovering haze.
wrapped in a multi colored coat of changing leaves and scattered acorns to gather
we walk on air enticed by the flow of a cooling breeze in the warmth of what is we.

One Autumn Night (in seven lines)
CONTEST FOR LINDA
Romantic evening arrived with reason
Reveling outdoors frolicking in fun
Enchanting lovers in blooming season
As you entered with glory of the sun
Sitting on sandy beach holding your hand
Blue moon I witnessed romancing your eyes
Shining intently glimmering your sand
Inviting my vibes to reach for the prize
You found the courage to conquer the tides
Charming blue waters fervently divine
Lifting my emotions where passion rides
Revealing glimpses of sensual sign
Courting amorous winds we walk on air
With avid glare, beaming romantic flare

Ten syllables per line
Someone left a seed to grow
on barren fertile land.
From seed to tree
for you and me
Its beauty our command.
Someone planted grape vines
along a broken fence.
Now our glasses bubble
with fragrant effervesce.
I see waves of rye and wheat
dancing in bright sun.
Someone plowed those fields for us,
food for everyone.
Sun and sky and clouds above,
who placed those wonders there?
No one standing on this earth
dare try to walk on air.
Moon and stars and lightning bolts,
silver way on high!
What amazing majesty
just to please our eye.
So who then took their time for this?
Does anybody know?
Let me think with all my might.
No one I think—although.....

There is an age that parents fear,
A time when manners disappear.
When siblings turn and just for fun,
Hate everything, the time’s begun.
Now all become pure selfish sods
And think they walk where no one’s trod.
They now behave like things from hell,
Just why this happens, none can tell.
Their mum and dad they disrespect,
They seem to join a different sect.
One that exists for them alone,
They all become a ‘Kevin’ clone.
There is no way, that them we’ll please,
It’s worse than any dire disease.
We pray their moods will go away,
And dread the horrors of each day.
Their adolescent age we blame,
And know that once we were the same.
But all we did was curse and swear,
Nowadays they think, they walk on air.
They think adults don’t understand,
And they’re the first to walk this land.
Parents never had their needs,
Or ever lived in times like these.
Sometimes our teens can be so vile,
They moan and argue all the while.
Their insults make us feel quite prone,
To bless the day when they’ll leave home.
The only thing that we can do,
Is bear the brunt and see it through.
These kids who now have no control,
Will wake one day and find their soul.
It’s now they drive us all insane,
But surely where there’s pain, there’s gain.
One day they’ll take a bloody fall,
And find they didn’t know it all!

I walk on air
I walk on water
I walk on clouds
I walk on sand
I walk the earth
I walk with you
Hand in hand
Soul to soul
Together, we are
Alive, free
Of fear
Of inhibition
Of failure
Of loss
No fear of pain
Just pure love
We gaze at each other
Spirits in unison
Together once more
To walk once again
Hand in hand
Towards the light
With you
I walk on air
He always listened, hardly spoke a word
He heard everything but was hardly heard
Advice he never gave, counsel he never sought
“Good or bad, it`ll all soon pass”, he thought
All in one – newborn babe, man, woman, and child
With eyes wide open, in his innocence he was wild
A gentle warrior animated by glorious grace
Life was a gift he`d gratefully, blindly embrace
Animated by a breath of heavenly heat and fire
He`d never tire to aspire higher and higher
He was of the sun – and a son of heaven
Hardships, strife, adversity were to him leaven
Head in the clouds, feet hardly touching the ground
Looking up, oblivious to the world around
When he ran out of ground he’d walk on air
Follow him you fools, if you dare
When asked to define the word love
My first thought was... it's impossible to explain love
How does one descibe the wind
How does one describe the cool fresh morning air
The brilliant sunshine that makes us feel so alive
It's a feeling inside that can't be put into mere words
When you first experience it, no one needs to tell you
The experience overwhelms you, it takes over your soul
You walk on air oblivious to your surroundings
You smile a lot at silly things
You walk into things that someone
Has strangely placed in your way
Like street lamps or fire hydrants
You forget important meetings
With the excuse that you lost your date book
You feel like you have a raging ferver
But you're cool as a cucumber outside
Friends worry, wondering about your strange behaviour
But then soon recognize the symptoms
The same symptoms that 99.9% of human beings
Have experienced at least once in their lifetime
Ah love, sweet love
Is there any greater feeling in life
Most emphatically I say NO!

—For the candlelight glows all night through—
For you walked on this path
must I go, too, on this path?
By the side of the pathway I saw the brilliant colored blossoms,
the color that delights the eyes of passersby. On the pathway
I smelled the full of sweet-scent from the blooms, the scent
that fascinates the wayfarers.
On the farther side of the pathway, I saw a flock of sheep
move on the pastureland grazing. And by my feet, I saw
the stream of clear water where the ripened spring
wafting on it, and the young fish swim in a shoal.
Under the moonbeam in the wood, I tasted the sweet wine
that refreshing nightly breeze has brought to me. I drank
the luscious wind that moderately intoxicates and brings
my mind to walk on air. I hear the soft whisper
that reminisces the delight bygone days.
But now, I am utterly worn out.
Because the loneliness afflicted on me for tens of thousands of years
causes an irresistible yearning for you, because the sadness that piled
and grown for hundreds of thousands of years beats on my heart,
I should like rolling over and pounding the ground, I feel much
like tearing my heart out and crying.
Still I have to go? Yet I have to advance?
An infant dead in yesterday decays
in the mother’s bosom.
For I will cast all my precious possessions away,
for I promise that I would behave nicely,
for I swear that I will bury all my sweet memories
that is in my heart, please, let me be as I am.
Must I go? Being pushed and dragged,
must I go? Against my own will,
though it’s only a beginning.
Bleeding hearts of passion desire
Arrow of love sets my soul on fire
Tears of joy replace the inner sad
Sweet whispers fall and fill me glad
I’ll follow you forever as the clock looses time
Bonded from this day forward loves fate has made you mine
I walk on air with your bright smile
I pray for your return to stay a while
You know my thought before its born
Temptations of you prick me like a thorn
I’ll follow you forever as the clock looses time
Bonded from this day forward loves fate has made you mine
Embraced with your kiss I conqueror it all
Everlasting is our love and I cannot fall
Dreams of touches follow my shadow
Twinkle from you eye shows loves halo
I’ll follow you forever as the clock looses time
Bonded from this day forward loves fate has made you mine
Living life in free fall
looking down far below
praying that someone
will come along
to save my soul.
Trying to walk on air
grasping at the wind
I fall faster
and faster.
Not knowing when
I will hit the ground
or who will mourn
my demise
and impending
disaster.

You are not yet born but I love you so,
excited for your arrival in ech day that you grow.
I look forward to meeting you for the very first time,
happy to have you sweet grandbaby of mine.
Ten little fingers and ten little toes,
with a sweet little face and a little button nose.
I imagine holding you and rocking you while you sleep,
while angels protect you safely they will keep.
You are a gift to our family sent from above,
assured you will be so greatly loved.
I can't wait to hold your tiny hand in mine,
the greatest gift of all a love so divine.
I imagine your smile so sweet as you sleep,
sleeping so soundly not even a peep.
You make me so proud I could walk on air,
winning a million dollars could not even compare.
The day of you arrival will be a time to rejoice,
looking forward to the sounds of your sweet little voice.
I look forward to meeting you handsome baby boy,
so me and papaw can give you your very first toy.
I see a man way up on that hill he has golden hair . my girl says where and I say up there. then a see him break a seal as he starts too I can hear.i cant see far but evenitully he stoals too my car.he seems too walk on air and of course I am scared.then I heard a voice in my head saying prepair for death. I ask do you mean this is the end for me,and he answered you wll live forever in enternity the earth you will no longer see.do you see this messege in my hand you are apart of his maser plan.
Sometimes you can reach high of highs
or touch bottom low of lows
what you do when you reach a point
is up to you
you can carry on with life
being positive+++
or drown in self pity
being negative---
you can pick yourself up
or drag yourself down
drowning in despair
life can bring happiness
you walk on air
without a care
what goes up comes down
what goes down comes up
it is in finding the middle
between the depths of the ocean
and the heights of heaven
we have to find ground level.
Keep me off your mind in other words don’t mind me
Because when you were always on my mind your mind was on other things
And now that you’re off my mind you finally realized what you were missing
No wait, what you ignored because while I had a fairy tale plan in store, you wanted to write your own story and in this story I’m the floor
No respect but needed and walked all over
Over and over we’re over no more
P.S. I hope you can walk on air
