Best Vital Force Poems
Ash - grey chemised
she shifts her shape
as silver flakes float coat
stripped naked places,
sheath curves and angled spaces
Angry glitter tingle stings
thick earth skin with prickly flames
and rumble rise regurgitates
shimmy - shake shudders
in magma's deep thrombosis.
Her feather boa plume
tightens hot cloud chokehold,
acrid smoke flung up in air
without a care, heat exhumes
her arrival, announced fiery flounce -
Hot air blast flicks ash everywhere
Grande dame, her vital force runs hot,
and bold, red and gold- full blooded flow,
feisty fight to escape fate,
inner pulses push a violent urge
to bleed and drape red lava's cape
across green fields, human habitations
Unplacated, rising up, proud impairment
anger virulent, out of hellbent
immolation via pyramidal vent.
She lifts her tiara, red ruby globs,
hurls evidence in defense - great blobs
of royal reign - no abdication!
Throaty roars rend intonation
into screeching supplications -
She knows full well, soon enough,
her phoenix fate infarction
Too late for earth's burst heart
High drama is a living, dying art
Impassioned pleas too late for some,
Earth's burnout buries victims in her wake
High on an island hill,
the boy lay crushed, and still
on temple altar, throat cut, bled out
Hurried offering, did not appease,
nor bring softening release
for angry, ancient mountain
Head caved in by falling blocks
of measured, square cut stone,
the priest grovelled on his knees
Gravel filled their mouths, no space for pleas
No one heard half- whispered final groans
And Earth, once she settled down,
murmured not another sound

My Gallery
In upper part of my body
A cognitive bell rings
From a dial-up connection
of live wires
The modem is working just
To repeatedly provide
the facsimile of
Barren and bald paths
Inner lumbering of daily freight
Coiling, clutching upward
There is no vivacity
The vital force has parasited
How I inhale life?
My days and nights are bolted
Inside a brain cell,
My voice has held back
It lays a plan to brawl my soul
Residing in my own skull
Dictates notes imitating my tone
I couldn’t disintegrate my recall
As my shadow has left me
There remains Just I, me and myself,
Why is my brain a black hole?
Could it not be a universe?
Of a constellation of migraine, tablets
Syringe, backache and insomnia
Dream has become a dead pattern
As worn out as fossil led glow
Everything has become identical
Except the weight of consequence
That has variations of endurance
As I go through perdition
My imbalance will be rectified
Hang my art on the wall
As after allotted time
My gallery will end
Today I seek the sun,
it's gentle painless play-
words of winter warmth
spur me on my way,
away from death wish,
daily things gone wrong.
Today I seek the sky -
empyreal blue bowl
that stretches thoughts so high
above an endless flow
of clouds caught carrying
this season's rain and snow.
Today I seek the earth-
created solid, oh so sure!
each grain linked to birth,
to death, to my clay feet
ferrying everywhere
life's sublime design.
Today, I seek the sight
of eagles and their wings-
let insight be given free flight,
not as instinct, but free will,
And still find a resting place
in conscience, human limits.
Today, I seek wild ways
of nature, just out of grasp.
Human natured though I am,
God's finger binds mind- heart in clasps-
flesh and blood married
to spirit's inclination.
Today I seek creation -
space, earth, created ploys
designed to bring me back on course -
marvellous designer toys -
The Almighty's mind in miniature
creates in me a purpose.
Today I see my self
earthbound, then soaring -
albatross escaping safe
from earth's dust bowl arena,
from humanity's wild roaring
freed, to search for peaceful dreams.
Today, I seek tomorrow -
a hope beheld, faith's make-me-believe
as bone producing marrow
makes vital force live by my blood,
so heart-man, blindly pumping,
can try transcend the dust of death.
Today I sought my self,
living soul, dying past -
yesterdays given up
form mortal man's newfound mast
supporting eager search for truth.
And then I'll live - at last!

**Inspired by the band "NightwisH" and the cover of an EP record. So many shades
of silver created a haunting feeling that never let go of my mind. **
My eyes close and I NightwisH
Sliding into another moment and place
Condemned to my universe of charade
Illusions of you govern my repose
And you posture steadfast...gazing
Your long, silken, glacier white hair
Besets your Angelic crystallized face
Save your eyes...which are bound by onyx
Pupils shaded a dappled, arctic ocean hue
Fervent and enticing, digging into me
Lips slightly parted in pale pink persuasion
I am overwhelmed with insistent anxiety
Fusing into the surrounding snow
All things appear a silvern haunt of gray
A steel shaded tunic frames your outline
Shrouded about your featured soul...taut
Heeding wings now outspread to eternity
Nearer to me than heretofore, I ponder
Feet not impinging the Iced Earth below
The pallid blue eyes of you penetrate my heart
Striving to glance away...to capture my breath
I cannot evade your gaze, your elegance
Embracing my crown into your depths
My vital force fills with abysmal hunger
A new day breaks, to thaw the minds frost
My snowy Angel evanesces into rainbow disguise
I suspire until the eventide envelopes the sun
The moons fire glistens into another NightwisH

Today, as I languish in intense intellection,
Recalling the former assigned to my course.
Questioning why this versified collection,
But knowing they arrived by a vital force.
Each imparted entities to my well being,
perhaps, on occasion, an unbiased voice.
Embedding ideas when not clearly seeing,
Then leaving me to contemplate my choice.
Some tracks were left profoundly inscribed,
That the fourth dimension stole not away.
This retention came as a tonic prescribed,
Propelling me toward a more opportune day;
Art thou my one true love?
Then let our hearts entwine;
allow our souls to dance at will
and I shall call thee mine.
I claim thee as my only one,
thou knowest this is sure,
my heart hath finally found a home,
my love for thee is pure.
Tell me dost thy heart exist
to beat with mine forever,
and through the years that yet to cometh
will our souls still dance together?
Will our lips still grace a kiss
when age hath left its mark,
and will thy love still hold a flame
like a candle in the dark?
When time dost sap our vital force
thy love I'll still behold,
for I shall seeth in thine eyes
a love still young and bold.
not a bone to pick on beach walks
with my lover just pleasure and leisure
strolls in the sand of time and togetherness
joined at the hips of mind body and soul
sizzling fingertips and footsteps near the edge
of the water crested in undulation
two people one wavelength
vital force and universal calling
treading a path of happy destiny
every now and then we find a fossilised form
minute skeleton small reminder
that permanence does not exist
of the past being bygone
and the future yet to come
as long as life grants us more hours
sometimes there is a bit of amber to be found
majestic tree sap for jewellery and ornaments
treasure gems and relics of measured meter
and the wonderful presence of nature
resonating resin if fortune is kind
occasionally a fish gnawed to the bone
by a seagull like Jonathan Livingston
its meaning as melodious as a Bach symphony
while our strides become a concerto in themselves
the saunter resembles a poem
quietly recited without words
simply flowing to the sound of the waves
of synaesthetic delight with sea stars’ applause
to the magnificent galactic power of
sun moon and stellar composure
sorrows melt away with each further step
the foreshore fuses between our toes
as the covered bones print a trail
washed away by tidal command
gratitude humility love and compassion
truly not a bone to grind with each other
blessed by a union made in heaven and beyond
I Am as I Am complete
Though ego opines otherwise
Invoking grace, we feel God’s heartbeat
What else does there remain for us to realize
—Unseeking Seeker
As shackles give way releasing unrest of odious impressions
trade winds blow and billow white sails to a loftier altitude
Spiral shells ohm on a day reborn, under marmalade horizons
As darkness dissipates, tenderness repairs a truculent attitude
I Am absorbed in an epiphany of unfathomable transparency
As a single pulsation, a strong current, a vital force reminding
of both exotic and familiar surroundings shivering in vivid vibrancy
As sorrows depart alas! unfurling the fabric once shrouded and binding
Images speak softly in purple pearl and fuchsias of every shade
An austere moon dwells o’er lonely stagnant seas, leaving ego to wither
Shadows of the past grasping tightly ‘neath a veil cease and fade
With unmerited mercy, I Am forgiven, and I too am a forgiver
Words unspoken freeing ever so chaste and elusively unspoilt,
from within the womb, there’s mother’s voice in silent lucidity
I Am the universe that surrounds me, avant an azure sky unfoilt,
an arrantly expansive spirit, body and soul, an ocean of great fluidity
You have stolen a part of me that is vital in living day by day. A part of me that you
have extracted that I need to function as whole, you have captured. Did you trick me
in loving you with all my heart, a heart that is already mutilated. A heart that is
already in fragments. Why did you capture my heart with your sweet words and
your wonderful deeds. Now you turn your face from me, leaving me grimacing in
pain. I still love you because I don't really now if you have trick me in loving you or
you genuinely loving me . In my heart, I now the latter is true, but crisis has
surrounded me like fortress. It has distort my heart. I am hurting and I can't see any
comfort in sight. Did you trick me Father or you testing me. I am failing because all
my vital force has gone from me. I no longer feel the rhythm of my heart - a heart
that is loving you, and you are not showing me love.
Awakened by a siren
Aching like a wound
We're driven out as we utter
The turnings of the womb
Swelling as we're tutored
By the wendings of desire
Swept away by water
Travestied by fire
The vital force of irony
Stabs us like a brier
Churning up a whirlwind
As we tumble in the mire
Vanquished by an idol
Beguiled by a look
Overwhelmed by a smile
Or twisting on a hook
We're spun and cut by the fates
In pursuit or in retreat
Gurgling like infant kings
Or bawling in defeat

Discarriating
The black sheep to the depth level
Inner demons attack the victim without mercy
Fleeing after extracting the vital force, leaving an unanimated being

Food — The gift of soil and hand,
A miracle that sprang from sand,
Quenching hunger, warming souls,
Is the bite and sip from steaming bowls.
The ripened fruits and tender greens,
Eaten with crusty loaf of grains,
With flavours bold, textures sweet,
Making every bite a rare retreat.
A vital force that flows within,
Building bones and mending skin,
Is the dance of taste and nature's art,
Stitching and weaving every part.
A silent thanks, for juicy sips,
And every morsel that graced the lips.
The economy, a force unseen,
Yet felt in every day and dream,
A fickle beast, a shifting tide,
A force that cannot be denied.
The rise and fall of stocks and trade,
The value of the goods we've made,
The flow of cash from hand to hand,
The beating heart of our land.
The market's pulse, a constant beat,
A rhythm that we all must meet,
The balance of supply and need,
The engine of our daily deed.
From the farmer's field to the store,
From the factory to the shore,
The wheels of commerce never rest,
For they drive us all, east and west.
The economy, a vital force,
A river running its endless course,
A power that we cannot flee,
A constant in our history.
A wellspring deep within,
a vital force creative,
is quelled to dry spells
by diversions, doubts
and distractions.
Like a pump needs priming
to flow again,
a wellspring needs prompting
and dry-runs
to get it brimming again.
Keep drawing on your wellspring
every single day,
imbibing its nectar lovingly,
and it will never run dry.
I never thought of it as more than a side stream
a rivulet of minor proportion and influence
until the miracles and blessings appeared
always about me and more and right now
centre of the universe deserved pole position
up to the time disaster struck hard and fast
today I have resolved to take nothing for granted
am grateful for the privilege of being alive
for food water sheltered abode and love in abundance
an inner war has abated and peace has arrived
sobriety in body mind soul and great spirit
grant me the vital force of existential existence
what cannot be changed I am able to accept
that which can be I try to alter and amend
and I am beginning to know the difference
in the here and now of today
I am thankful to feeling gratitude
now life flows on its own appreciation
