Just where have the weeks gone
Another year has whizzed past
No New Years resolution, I'd only break it
Unless it’s to meet George Clooney
Ah fiddlesticks he’s married now!
Romance is off the cards
Yeah, but a girl can dream!

He is my inspiration.
Creator of Life, you are,
We extol your creative wonders.
We stand in awe at your wisdom,
We're compelled to pause and ponder.
Almighty God, you are,
Astonishing displays of your great power.
Your name for us is our shelter,
Our stronghold and our tower.
Sovereign Lord, you are,
Exercising dominion o'er all your creation.
We surrender to your ascendancy,
In unreserved dedication.
Ancient of Days, you are,
As revealed in your own word.
No one surpasses you in excellence,
Your blessings now conferred.
King of Righteousness, you are,
Your statutes and principles you give.
Wholeheartedly we shall obey your laws,
As long as we shall live.
King of Eternity, you are,
From indefinite past, to forever,
We disown ourselves in servitude,
Our resolute endeavor.
Majestic One, you are,
Incomparable in glory and holiness.
Your resplendent magnificence,
Only you possess.
Alpha and Omega, you are,
The beginning and the end.
Because of your great love, we choose,
To be your lifelong friends.
Praised be your holy name!
J ust and righteous is he.
E verlasting, to time indefinite.
H oly to the superlative degree.
O mniscient, all knowing, all wise.
V enerable, worthy of Worship.
A lmighty in power.
H ighly exalted.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8, KJV

C aring move for self, not the child
T ell me how did you fare in your life's quest?
I gnorant were they just like Jesus said on the cross
O therwise they would have held the child very close
N ow I understand and forgive releasing those feelings so I can live
A little tidbit about my life. Forgiveness is the key.

Rushing to meet

Another morning filled with sun
Beckons the mind to open where,
Clearing the cobwebs has begun,
Dreaming so many words to share.
Enjoy my tea and my muffins
For this is when I’m most at peace
Grab pen and paper, fun begins
Hoping a new poem will release.
Imbedded in my mind are words,
Just wish I could remember some!
Knocking around, but never heard
Laugh it off, someday they will come.
Many thoughts appear thru the night
Never found with the morning light!

Just the other day I came across a picture of you with your horse
And was amazed to see how much we looked alike
Could it be true that you are mere words upon a cold stone
Quiet, beautiful and kind Jacqueline
Unbelievable you left this world on Mother's Day
Entangled, meshed, intertwined are our souls for eternity
Love is what you left with me
I am so proud to be the daughter of one such as you
Not a day will go by that you are not in my heart
Especially on Mother's Day

Quantum Nature
A quantum nature rules the sky,
Burning wavelengths at the noon,
Climbing south to reach up high,
Down in the west to setting tunes.
Evening is a glowing sight,
Festival of shadows long,
Golden tones of solar light,
Hues of sunset strong.
Indigo time comes around.
Just a little while it stays.
Kindly dusting streets and ground,
Leaves us and goes on its way.
Midnight’s song's mysterious so.
New day's nighttime is slate blue.
Oh, what spectrum soon to know,
Particles of dawn brand new.
Quantum nature is real pure,
Relying on laws day by day,
Showing us truly that it's sure
To tell us our world’s still OK.

Abaft the beam the aberration spun
Below the turbid surface like a pearl
Commanding all attentions, overrun
Dissolving as colloidal midst the swirl
Encircled tons of matter as dissolved
Fierce vortices, toroidal in their whorl
Gesticulating with his mates, involved
Hypotheses suffused the captain's ire
Intense 'twas this anomaly, unsolved
Just as a jester moon dipped to retire
Kinetic phosphorescence flit the mast
Low on the mizzen, as St. Elmo's fire
Miraculous, a beam shone in its caste
Now tying ship to sea by water brake
On deck the crew were timidly aghast
Pervading all, their need to undertake
Quick means to thus escape adversity
Relinquishing to flee that eddy's wake
Surmising that the undertow would be
Too close to e'er escape its pearly skin
Unhesitant the captain plunged the sea
Virulent, boiled the brine, he in its spin
With sword held tight, defiantly above
Xiphoidals sliced the vortex from within
Yet with the ebbing sea his crew thereof
Zeus in his glory, never knew such love.

All afternoon I waited in at my house for you
But you didn’t show up and the air turned blue!
Called the servicing and maintenance department …
‘Didn’t turn up’ today was my loud lament!
Eric the engineer will be here, but it wont’ be until tomorrow
Four on the dot I’ve been promised or I’ll give him sorrow!
Getting agitated, as I’ve had to take more time off work
He better arrive today … I’m ready to strangle the jerk!
I waited and waited and he still didn’t show
Just phoned again they said sorry Eric’s very slow!
Keeping my temper was a VERY hard thing for me
Let’s make a firm appointment for tomorrow at three
My nerves were frayed I was getting annoyed
Now the doorbell rings, I am really overjoyed!
Opening the door and I see Eric is standing there
Pecs like a bodybuilder… all I could do was stare!
Quickly I invite him inside to try and fix my cooker
Really glad he’s arrived, as Eric’s a real good looker
‘Sorry’ Eric says but I must call back later with a spare part
Then you can cook me dinner - I think I’ve captured Eric’s heart!

Did not our summer fly by fast?
Eventually, we knew she'd go,
Forgetting to remake her blooms;
Green grasses dried to ashen glow.
How happy was the month of May,
Inviting hopes for summer fun.
Just in a blink her days went by
Kidnapped by June's much closer sun.
Left to the magic of June's spell,
More beautiful the season grew.
No other time of year compares...
Oasis of our year, so true.
Pastels of flowers, velvet greens
Quick to mature through July days;
Refining fullness, but alas,
Surrendering to August's phase.
Then soon, her days too quickly flew
Unveiling thoughts of autumn's glow
Vowed to progress to winter's gray.
Where did our short-lived summer go?

J-ust another day in delight,

A-nother day in pure delight;
