Truth be told
truth behold,
This I see
is how all unfolds

In plain sight
not in darkness
like here tonight
I see the sky
ask myself why
there’s no reply,
No mothership
to take a trip

And… oh my god
I’m overwhelmed!
by majesty …
constellations
partnerships
A crescent moon
beckoning me
imploring me
to look harder,
The answer’s here
before my eyes
not in disguise

(Moon)

I’m here for you
at this moment
let’s synchronise,
Be here for me too
we are the same
you have a mind
I reflect the flame

The big guy
is below horizons
elsewhere rising,
draped in plasma
I follow his lead
unerringly accede

We made you
and you make us
by being here
conscious aware,
we overlook
you undertook
to question why
But there is no lie

The truth’s blinding
the truth’s binding
so let it be
Not always pretty
Not always loving
Not always giving
Not always taking
never faking
open and bare
Raw and gaping

Man gives us reason
we bring him seasons
his path seems tough
and never enough
So thank you
for looking up
come what may
we shared a reflection

Go now brother
we’ve seen the light,
Others did too tonight
just not as bright

Inchworm

Inching, inching, slowly inching;
Inchworm loopingly inching along.
Measuring, measuring, carefully measuring;
Careful to measure no measurement wrong.

Reaching, reaching, slowly reaching;
Front-end reachingly seeking a hold.
Following, following, other-end following;
Follow the leader unerringly bold.

Onward, onward--ever onward;
Inchworm tirelessly inching away.
Answer me, answer me, measure worm, answer me,
How many inches have you inched today?

It was the feathered purple of a blossoming iris,
kissing the laden air
with trembling lips.
I was awakened by its fragrance,
the newness of its ancient story,
told yet again by a moistening earth
in silvery birdsong.

Sometimes,
I have missed the turning from gelid and motionless
to the softening sway that unerringly follows.
I have been embittered—
brittle and bare as a crooked branch,
scraping a vacuous sky—

but not this time.

This time, the tenderest breeze,
prodded by the fingers of a spreading sun,
finds me waiting—
eyes closed, smile turned eagerly upwards
to greet the renewal
of creation.

This love, more than a feeling, it’s twinkling
Like the purple blue on a mountain’s hue
Or lightest rain, trembling with truth, sprinkling
My heart with gentle dreams, yearnings ensue

This laughter, more pleasing than morning dew
Singing hope to the heart who’s dissuaded
Restoring wonder with such a breakthrough
Through love this awesome, joy is persuaded

This light, brilliant as the sunrise in June
Pours out peace, hope and grace throughout this life
Because my soul is restored, I’m immune
To the darkness of night, worry and strife

Due to the love you give so caringly
We shall live grateful and unerringly

love, laughter, light shift,
urging souls to grasp - wealth comes
from giving, blessing!

love, laughter and light silence the darkest of nights

In your name I humbly pray,
For peace in this world,
And abundance of love today!
We however are not worthy,
And we are never going to be.
For your goodness is unmatched!
Even so we dared to dream,
The most impossible dream-
Of loving the way that You do.
But we were destined to stumble,
Right from the very start.
Forgive us our sins, O Lord,
For which we take responsibility,
And grant us grace and unity.
Though I am not perfect,
I do love you dearly!
Although every age is your age,
It is the season of your birth.
Hearts turn unerringly to you,
And to your hopes and wishes,
For all of creation.
Please light the way, O Lord,
For those wishes to come true.
For when you are smiling,
I am smiling!

Premium Member Autumn Memories

Alluring Fall dew upon spider silk,
Unerringly takes me back to my youth.
To a time of those magical days,
Uncanny, how the heart follows suit,
Melting away the years with each beat.
Nostalgic images of playing in leaves,
Melds with the draw of freshly baked goods, while
Earthly scents, sweetly perfume the crisp breeze.
Mom and Grandma, the house they'd transform, with
Ornamental gourds in willow baskets,
Red maple leaves nestled in with pine cones,
Intricately quilted, down filled blankets.
Every Autumn, I take that long stroll,
Steeped in memories formed deep in my soul.

Only To the Dog

ONLY TO THE DOG

Dialect abandoned with education and travel
Now only speak Geordie to the dog on walks
In unguarded moments
Awkwardly recalling how the pronunciation goes:
No longer an unhesitating morass of flat vowels
Floating on the muddy gurgle of the Tyne,
Like your long-ago first wife’s name, coming unerringly
To your lips in the presence of the second.

.................................................

Geordie is a speech dialect in Northern England's Tyne valley.

Mosquitoes Please Beware

Mosquitoes Please Beware

With an audible snort of disgust,
I pushed back this chair of mine...

In my head, I angrily exclaimed...
Oh, no! Mosquitoes, they are at it again..

Dreaded mosquitoes, they make my life miserable..
Incessant buzzing and painful bites are inseparable...

I bent forward and low in this chair,
Swept my eagle eyes left and right...

Hoping to sight that obnoxious insect...
Daring it to fly into my area of sight...

Both my palms are opened and poised for action,
Eyes radar sighted onto the insect's flying position...

With the patience of Job from the Old Testament...
I waited patiently, eyes peeled and ears well tuned..

Where is that buzz, the flying sounds I know so well...
There! Out of the corner of my eye, I spied its flight...

I trained beady eyes hungrily on its ziggedy flight...
There is no way it is getting out of my sight...

In my mind I relish the thought of squishing this insect...
Slapping it dead within my palms is only the first step...

Mentally I drool as I imagined my feelings when I get to crush...
This nasty insect which is about to meet its doom in a rush...

A little closer, my lovely six legged friend with gossamer wings...
I'm sorry but I am the Maker your trouble making brings you in...

Smash! What an almighty clap of my palms in your honour...
My palms, they sting, they smart but that does not matter....

I opened my palms in jubilation, I have taken drastic action...
But what is this, both my open palms they are in spotless condition...

Woe is me! My almighty slap, that mother of all slaps, was in vain...
By some miscarriage of justice, this mosquito escapes to torment again...

Here it comes, gossamer wings blurring as it flies shrilly into sight...
Daring me, challenging me, inviting me to again kill it in its merry flight...

Involuntarily, my nostrils flared as again I snorted my disgust...
Bent over in my chair, crouched low as once again I lay in wait...

Fervently I uttered a silent prayer of deliverance from this flying evil...
As once again with the patience of Job I waited to pulverish this evil...

Fly hither, fly thither, fly merrily, fly unerringly into my sight if your dare...
Better warn your brethen, bloodthirsty fiends they are, please BEWARE!

Of Wsj and 1mdb

Recently WSJ in USA publicised a jaw dropping expose..
Of financial irregularities involving the nation of Malaysia...

To date it is the biggest ever case of money laundering ...
The scale of which involved investigations in 7 countries..

From prim and proper, squeaky clean banking in Singapore...
To Australia, Luxemburg, Hongkong, Seychelles Islands ...

Thailand and the parking of millions in USA as investments...
Via convoluted trails of cross border movement of monies..

A sovereign fund vehicle by daylight was a conduit for money crimes....
A nation's sovereign fund that was promoted to be a investment vehicle...

For all Malaysians to ultimately benefit from its financial ventures. ..
But now following this WDJ report, the **** has hit the ceiling fan...

It is no longer hearsay or inuendoes or even forged documents to begin with..
WSJ has unerringly uncovered the money trails across the different nations..

Now the whole world knows who the culprits and wolves at the helm...
And the main players behind this ingenious plan to siphon out money...

Like a tale in the Arabian nights, there is an Arabian prince and his sidekick...
Throw in a chubby guy who threw Hollywood parties, and a fall guy so slick...

The whole gang conjured money in billions with government guarantees....
Now Malaysians are saddled with a monstrous billions in debt guarantees...

While major billions are long gone ,billions appeared in some bank accounts..
WSJ and US Department Of Justice soundly declared kleptocrazy there...

O yes, if you wish for a positive angle to this sorry episode of money swindling...
We are tops in the world for the sheer audacity of this money laundering scheme...

Betrayal

The tree does not at the hewing suffer
Albeit the callous thwacks all edges raining down
Nor the tons of muscles befalling on its cadaver
But savvy ing a bisection of the axe stems from her own

She protractedly taught him to target archery
How his bow bends unerringly
When he at last imbibed the art secrecy
Betrayingly shot her uncompassionately.

Just Something I Know

Just Something I Know

You do not know who I am
And I do not know you too
So what has caused that spark?
And drawn me closer to you?

I am not sure how to proceed
Because I would like to talk to you
But age has played a factor
And I simply do not have a clue

So if you would care to tell me
What is it you are looking for?
Maybe I could help with that
And you would know a little bit more

You say you that you seek passion
A very admiral and wonderful trait
But only one in a sum of many
That will certainly impact your fate

There is compassion and forgiveness
For mistakes unerringly made
There is also honor and trust you see
Without either a big price to be paid

So I would share a small fact with you
Never give up looking for love
And the day that you finally find it
You should give thanks to God above

True love is a God given gift
It is just something I know
And make sure with all your heart
You never lose it or let it go

Smart Phone and Sleep Walker

Smart Phone And Sleep Walker

Going viral in the social media that is Whatsapp..
A cute little girl in bed engrossed in playing her smart phone in the night..
The hour was late, she was to be fast asleep in her comfy bed...
All of a sudden, she frantically slips her handphone out of sight....
With quicksilver speed, she scurried off her bed and turned off the lights...
Lo behold, she was back in bed, snuggly sound asleep for appearance sake...
The door opens, her guardian entered, switched the lights and went to her bed...
He arranged the covers and gave our little girl a perfunctory quick tuck-in..
His fatherly deed lovingly done, he is pictured turning off the lights to leave
 the room...

Quick as a flash, our cute little girl jumped out from the covers of her bed..
Rushed hurriedly to the wall opposite to turn on again the room light...
When the overhead light lit up the presence of the guardian by the door....
Positioned unobtrusively beside the door laying in wait...
She did a double take and quickly feigned that she was in a sleep walk...
Hands outstretched, eyes closed, just as any genuine somnabulist would...
She hauntingly but unerringly returned to her bed...

Without doubt, this video can win and melt many a viewer's heart...
But for a reality check, it is rather alarming and so sad...
Cos while we chortle in mirth over the antics of the little girl...
Be reminded of the subtle damage to her learning curve...
For such a little girl, she is now evolved into a devious brat...
Seeking forbidden pleasures in the smart phone she has...
Despite the curfew hours and a vigilant father who double checks...
And look at the extent of the lies she can fabricate ...
Feigning sleep walking just to escape the righteous displeasure...
From her guardian who was laying in wait to catch her in her act...
Yeah, this little incident is a source of mirth and amusement...
But be reminded, smart phone usage modify our social behaviour as a fact...
Even a little innocent girl, developing lies and turning sly becomes part of her...
A fair warning to all and sundry, and as adults, we need to keep track...
Before insidious damage takes over the behavioral patterns of our loved ones......

As a Moth To Flame

Like the dust upon a moths wing:
our thoughts of good before love.
Love:
that fabled flame draws
our fragile wings and soft belly,
to burn in passion flash.
The feelers we've followed unerringly
melting first
before the all powerful onslaught.

We come out:
unknowing before,
as gold gilded eagles.
Soaring high on joy's thermal.
Lifted far above the world
and it's calamities
but we perceive all.
And guide those
still mired
in the clay of their creation.
Our feathers glint in the sun:
as a wink from the son.
The wings
of our new abodes
only tiring when heart has it's fill.
A razor like beak now leads:
cutting between flesh and bone,
the blood red earth,
and it's heart of stone.

Girl In the Mirror

GIRL IN THE MIRROR *

Like a ship’s compass sits in the binnacle unmoving
While the vessel rolls and pitches,
As if her eyes and head were on separate swivel bearings
She faced me as I spoke but the eyes rolled
Magnetically to the mirror at her side,
Assessing the exact shape and size
Of all the important parts of her outline
From all possible angles, all possible lighting,
While making written notes of my instructions.
And the pen moved unerringly across the paper,
Quickly, error-free and blotless, yet unguided
By eyes which were otherwise engaged:
And she asked politely if that was all, and smiled
At herself as she ushered me from the office,
So she could confront her image more directly
With her automatically-homing radar eyes :
And get an exact bearing on her bows and stern.

. . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . .

NOTE

*This shop girl in Moscow was much more interested in her
own image in the mirror than in talking directly to my face.

Memory's Lost

Once in a while, a cruel, old man
Had stood up in front and had bade me to stand
He'd point out a sentence, instruct me to speak
And my crush would let slip a small, cruel, mirthful shriek
Then my sibilant esses would ring out so loud
And my spittle sailed south 'cross the heads of the crowd
The teacher pronounced my reading a mess

And I couldn't help but feel that I was
Missing something, missing something
All my life I think I missed something

My friends took me out to the pictures tonight
Though I never was blessed with the powers of sight
The score underscored each great scene with aplomb
But I knew from the swells and the claps it was done
In a few moments I had slunk into the night
With a sense in my gut that some thing wasn't right
Right before I would physically run into you

I could not help but feel that I was
Missing something, missing something
All my life, I think I missed
Something big, something vital, something unerringly true
And today I think that something was you

After rainfall I stepped into the sun
It dried off my skin but the cold made me numb
I stepped back to the porch and back into your arms
With a hide dried so thick that your arrows can't harm
I can carry you miles just perched on my back
But my heart and my belly are safe from attack
Intellectually I know that there's nothing I lack

But I can't shake the feeling that I am
Missing something, missing something
All my life I think I missed
Something big, something vital, something unerringly true
But it's something I've forgotten
In a sky so blue
