"To hold as 'twere, the mirror up to nature. "
William Shakespeare," Hamlet 1601."
Long ago another planted you,
My cherished Ginkgo tree.
She tamped you in so carefully
And bequeathed you unto me.
Did she then live to see you grow
So stately and so tall?
And to see your charming bright green dress
Turn golden in the fall?
You’re clothed in pretty fan shaped leaves,
A tree beyond compare.
How many robin families,
Have nested in you, Maidenhair?
Although other trees have broken,
‘Neat the north wind’s violent gale;
You, Ginkgo pay no heed at all.
To winter’s abusive rail.
Your forebears came from China,
Where they were long revered,
And studying under their branches
An old sage with his beard.
Your kind was here as early
As the first ferns and their spores.
No tree has longer history,
Your fathers knew dinosaurs.
Strange that old Mother Nature,
Decided you should survive so long,
While we humans sometimes die before
The last verse of our song.
The answer to long life and health,
Is in the leaves of the Maidenhair tree.
If you let me pluck a few of yours,
I’ll brew up my cup of tea.
If only the one who planted you,
Had known of your power.
She could have drunk of Ginkgo tea,*
And been here for happy hour.
* Ginkgo leaves are touted as being healthful . Won a 5th place

For Constance's contest "The Tree"
Traced undated thoughts
Conversed deepest life's questions
Ageless wit surmount
Mind traversed within
Whilst vibrant colors made hue
Gently asked questions
Embraced each other
Radiating every facet
Life's truest secret.
Amidst peaceful place
Beyond words structures exist
Pillars pretty carved.
Euphorically
Radiating mystery craft
Piece of an old art
One's pay a visit
Strolling across the meadows
Unsure to leave last
A wall serves as frame
Vivid pictures for themselves
Stunning particles
Parallel doorways
Undated creative realms
Memoirs never last.
A wondrous dreamt came
With a long waited specie
Looks like no other
Stares in wilderness
Depict countless of meanings
Felt passes through souls
Asked simple queries
But answered with more questions
Discerned their values
Reunited with him
Was such a grateful event
Moment of freedom
Spoke undated views
Now reveal validity
Light is from within.
Alone at the narrow and busy street
Waited promptly for a cab to stop a bit.
At last lucky one respond to signals
Rode calmly whilst have thought of things
As the cab traversed streets to bridges
Mind soared with the driver's ordeals
Spoke undated events which ruined his life
Special one left for someone without notice
Love within and without fear to commit
In a relationship but haunted by past
Cab driver's enlightenment at once realized
Through sets of words emphatically uttered.

I'm hated, frustrated, and mostly agitated
I'm feeling fated, unrelated, undated, and overrated
(Favoritism, a person's alcoholism)
I'm an anarchist
And I think I'm a masochist
Maybe YOU should perform an exorcist?
I wanna hit you with my fist
You're a never ending twist
I'm your belated friend
You make my life want to end
You make the rules bend
Your lies extend
This is why I'm no longer your friend
You lied straight to my face
Like being sprayed by mace
Stabbed me in the back
Made me have a panic attack
Now I'm gonna get you back
You stupid hack
You need to stop your act!
Calender But Undated
Haha... In Australia, calender means fixed dates...
In Bolehland, it can mean to fix at a later date...
In case you are wondering what that was about...
Wonder no more, in a calender actual dates abound...
Funny how one can call it a calender and yet differs so much...
Penang Open is in the calender, but nobody knows much...
Shssh! Nobody knows actually when, it being an official secret...
Here in Bolehland, a calender is a program planned with no dates at all...
Hohoho...a Malaysian squash calender is available for print...
But what's this? Important dates are not yet chosen for print...
Hahaha in Bolehland, there are missing gaps with dates unseen..
Unlike in Australia, all dates are identified and well planned ...
So of what use is a calender in Bolehland, dates are left undone...
In Australia, one can plan and travel on account all dates are done...
?????? A little note...
......when a annual calender of events have only the event
but not the dates, how does one dare call it a calender of events for the year???
Aggravation waited.
Health always debated.
Material things created.
Mental capacity unstated.
History always elated.
Final breath is fated.
Future is overrated.
Partners never sated.
Love cannot be slated.
Compassion will be desecrated.
Desire falsely translated.
Life is overly stated.
From the day we are created.
While we are all interrelated,
We continually face each other abated
Awaiting our dignity to be dictated,
We fail each other blindly sedated.
If we are lucky we go through life conjugated.
THIS YEAR
What folly of the dreamer
half asleep – full sated
to become prophetic schemer
of a future yet undated
ingesting meals yet to be plated.
How daft the followers in kind
mewing in his shadow
feeding from his empty mind
on bones devoid of marrow
adrift in fantasy’s tomorrow.
Thus as the season’s shadows fade,
as age creeps ever closer near,
how much of living will we trade
for empty dreams no longer clear
slow tarnished in the passing year.

Does nothing really matter or does everything serve a purpose,
is a dream just to be shattered or something beneath the surface.
So many lives that clatter surely we can't be surplus.
When it comes to the latter will my efforts be worthless.
Call me curious? You under esimated.
I'm kinda furious and under stated.
Finding it humorous, highly sedated.
Its tumorous and to be castrated.
Sex will just make things complicated.
Don't think i havn't contemplated, its still in my being.
i just concentrated, a little bit harder but then my conscience faded.
Every 5 minutes. my thoughts invaded.
Don't think i can't be persuaded.
I'm as easy as that! I may have portrayed it.
As something different, i just relayed it.
In a different format. I concentrated.
Tinker with consistancy grew frustrated.
Sexually!
and so i motivavted, more than my right hand.
Although belated. feeling like my birthday i celabrated.
Until now, its been untranslated. Its not about how? but why we created.
I raised my brow, have i been situated?
Looked at it like Wow! Instigated.
A chain of events has led to debated.
Time and again but lets keep it undated.
This is pass its sell by, ya can use this and slate it.
Best out of 5, its bound to be rated. Its written in the stars.
And its serated. It ain't clean cut but not mutilated.
I keep it moving like undulated.
Causing waves! now that's amazement.
The heart runs, lips quib, words just die
When just a mile away he signals hi.
Such, none but he has made you feel.
The undated dream of how love should be.
The legs are pulled like to a magnet. The
Heart 's scared which chases the body to impress;
Hints studied, skin tined, steps aligned, smiles learned
In a bid no step 's missed to make unfit.
The pull becomes so strong that fear gives way.
But in time the heart frowns in shy dismay.
The heart can be wrong even when its so sure.
True love gets clearer when hearts grows closer.
what breach of faith
has time wrought?
like cannonballs
through ramparts and walls
each day bores on,
unflinchingly through page after page
of sickening drivel.
the sun contentedly wallowing
in its yellow sty turns over
without a snort.
at day's end it seeks other fields
to root and hog.
(undated 1979)
Love unreciprocated and sufferings untold,
From eons undated and ages old.
Now, fresh menacing storms lash against me,
The all-bearing leaf of the autumn tree.
And now, hope is drained and faith is low.
And at the pinnacle of pain, I finally let go.
And smiling one last time at my cruel world,
Into the winds, myself, I throw.
My body is blue and my soul is lost.
I merge,
I merge and become one with the frost.
I hate his ways,
but I love his heart
I can't stand being with him,
but I would die without him
I fell into the darkness and was blinded by the light
I push him too hard,
but he doesn't even push back
I want to tell him all and hope he sees,
but I don't think he wants to listen
I have hopes and dreams, but he crushes them so fast,
tearing down the walls before they're built
I just don't understand why he acts this way,
like he doesn't have a care in this world
Can I save him or is he lost?
I need to bring him back,
he is not the same,
there used to be a glow in his eyes
I believe inside he's fighting a battle
and won't let anyone help him win
So far we have all lost
Aleshia undated
An ancient unknown city in the west somewhere
Under the road it had a pipeline maze for water
How old the city people didn’t remember.
During a remote sweltering summer time
Before the start of debate on climate change
The temperature rose to an unrecorded high.
The antique pipeline cracked at the seams
Spurting out from under the fissured road
Water cold as subterranean spring in desert
Filled up soon a wide ditch dug for road repair.
The news spread like flood water
In the desiccated neighborhood
Drew the children of all ages to the pool
Clad in swimming gears they jumped
In the knee-deep water not so much to swim
But to beat the heat of scorching summer day
With the cold water flowing for fun.
The parents looked on as amused guards
Wished they could go back for awhile
To the long lost childhood days
And take the plunge at the cool fun.
If the undated summer children could now see
The snapshot of water splashed summer noon
Through bifocals on their failing nostalgic eyes
They would reminisce how the times changed
In their lifetime the ancient became modern.
