dim path wake
to loss quake

timidly its
quietness deep
infinite voice
appears restless

nesting birds await
conceal, motionless
safely perched between
aspen leaves as cold
breezes lace a web

Premium Member Life On the Twine

Upon this thread we soldier on.
Focused and balanced, or soon to be gone
Lost to the depths, that remain unexplored
To eternal unrest, or heavens reward
So never look down, walk a strait line
For one mistake ends, a life on the twine

Premium Member ...We Meld As Roots Twine

we meld as roots twine
bark nor storm infringe on love
death, cold, raw, a pauper’s dream...

braid graceful passion
bend before heart’s storm...
engulf beginnings

honeyed breath kiss on
life dancing on, babies born
tagged in blissful wondering...

forever mine dear
a bed to begin and to end...
embrace of me

Twine and One

...twine and one...

Whilst the sky is jet darkly
the stars are brilliantly diamonds sparkling
capturing the hearts of the night's lovers
sitting by the water with lips lock
uncaring to the naked eyes of the night
Who, what, and wherever - doesn't matter to
them at this hour of amorous
They are two lovers to be loved tonight
Alive with a fever
Hungry for one another
Tonight is theirs alone
... to twine and one...
Paralyzing to the world
from the heat of passion spreading rapidly
thru thin veins
Yearning
Needing
...to twine and one...
Two souls are now become one
Undisturbed to the crashing of the waves
that's cheering them on
Unaware of the soft breeze caressing
their naked skins tenderly
They are two lovers making sweet
passionate love tonight
Unshy to the naked eyes of the night
Who, what, and wherever - doesn't matter to
them at this enchanting night
They are content
They are complete
... twine and one...
Drifting off to sleep and dream
Whilst the sky still darkly
Under the diamond sparkling stars
The now calm water swaying gently
The now still breeze asleep soundless
Everything is at peace
Their world is whole for now... Smile!

Heart of mine,
Frozen it time,
You'll be fine,
You'll be fine.

Sing your song,
Keep it's rhyme,
Keep its chime,
Believe in your spring time.

Heart of mine,
Search for your smile,
Look up at the sky,
Hope never dies.

Believe in destiny,
And if by chance it was not meant to be,
Take a deep breath and sigh,
Then slowly let it go and say Good bye.

Oh heart if mine,
Frozen in your Winter Time,
It will be hard and you will cry;
There will be tears,
and there will be sighs...

But don't let the spark die.
For as long as the sun shines,
As long as there's a blue sky,
Tomorrow will be alright.

You'll be fine,
You'll be fine.
Let go of your worries,
Let go of your endless sighs.

Sing your song and keep its rhyme,
Love will come in the right time.
Embrace your own sunshine,
And wait for the sunrise of your destined Spring Time.

It’s Twine Time!

(to Alvin Cash)

It’s twine time!
ooh, ah, ooh, ah, ooh, ah!
It’s time to twine, baby!
Time to forget about it all!
The latest lollipop disasters,
The catastrophes dressed in nude attire,
The latest bristlecone attacks
Manufactured with iced fear,
Riveted with barbecued bullets.

Lookin’ good, baby; have mercy!
It’s twine time!
Passing grooving styling peeps
Living lives in psychotic bondage
To the ghost children, still
Living fast episodes of ennui with
All the random traumas,
Passing all the purple bruises,
The red-stained tears.

It’s twine time, baby!
The far-out space girls
dressed in sheepskin adornments,
Intense as roadside bombs,
Made of acrimony and glycerin.
Yeah! Them that are wearing
Dancing boots made of twine!
It’s twine time, baby!
Ooh, ah, ooh, ah ooh ah!

Twine

I write. I feel. I translate. I create.
Any writers dream is to breathe life into their abstract of imagination
as is any artistic creator.
To give birth to a painting, or to capture that moment in infinite majesty.
To recreate feelings of all kind, throughout lyrics and hymns.
To give to of a creation of all kinds for all kind.

These expressions. These collaborations. These leaks from creativity.
Dawn was a long time ago that even our ancestors painted on walls.
We observe in fascination, shared ingenuity from eon's lost.
Yet as our children write, the tail spurns on,
Becoming endless dull twine, study yet bland.
Recreate that fathomless spark, children of children.
Recreate us, capture your own moment yet.

We write. We feel. We translate. We create. You carry on.
Pass down our tattered wreaths,
Weave a new song with our rekindled lace of your own nights.
Dance around one another, raise a flag, sing a song.
Touch a place of no return, enclose it with love.
Pass on our knowledge of our minds onto ageless stone.
Pass on even our stupidity, learn from our tales of misguidance.

Lay out foundation upon our syllables.
Play with verbs and new pronunciations as you mix paints.
Diverse amongst yourselves, go on for more.
Find strife as to stride for peace.
Do not abate one another on simple matters such as belief.
Draw out your own life, be in harmony as a mosaic of colors.

Unique and different, give out your wisdom's.
Then fall, become as us, dull silk.
Give yourself to brink, as so your children strife.
When they look upon you and cry in anger tell of us.
Our stupid advice.
So they can achieve greater than you through their children.
More so than us.

Sing of this day, sing any moment.
You should, shall not be bound by others.
Paint in mind of further on.
Let me be the ancestor of those who forsake this poem.
Stop strife and stride forever.
Let them achieve dreams of dreams.
Through word and solace, song and chaos.

Let them fly away, and never stop.
Run away,
Don't look back.
Touch all the diamonds above.

for Jim)DEVOTION POEM - ENTANGLED. (for Jim)

For me he’s The One.
As I’ve been for him
   his Only One.
From the beginning when
Our fates embraced.

I listen to his breathing, while concerned,
He watches how well I’m moving.
Around him, I am a verdant vine.
He rises near — as a braid of wildflowers
   around me to twine.

Our holy Lord sees our love for each other as
The poetry of twin pendulums — joined signs in
The physics and mathematics of His space and time
As we move together — entangled.

Forever our love is synchronized.
The scales of our music harmonize.
We see starlights shine — during the any
Moments of time when we embrace the highest
   of love within each other.

got me to ask Jim about entanglement theory, resulting
in the inspiration for this. Thankful we inspire one another.

Twine

Did you see the moon last night?
It was big and yellow;
Incandescent
I woke up mad and sad
It was gone; just went missing

Though I guess today it’s made
It’s way, across both land and sea
Traveling like a vagabond
For someone else to see

Lover's Twine

A rose, like a sweet sorrow, blooms for love's tomorrow
A heart, beating pure, is a vessle meant to endure
A life, like the sea, is there for you and me
A love, running wild, was never meant to be defiled
You, like a flower, grow more beauty with each hour
Me, like a bee, is drawn to you and you to me
Nature, sweet and cerine, is our love's current scene
Truth, now and forever, is ours no matter the endeavor

A sad early death will be mine
if, my dreams do not twine.
No reason to rise up from my soft bed.
Why is your life so unyielding? My MUSE, just said.
Life reacts. You have poems to design!
But, I whisper to my heartless life,
____ I am dreaming of words divine,

. . . . of family I did love before;
in dreams I open the door;
and ruthless pain and sweet memories come!
I am past weeping, yet I gather every crumb.
Then, inside my head words twirl and pour!
Oh, I must FACE IT and rise,
____ for my written words to soar.

Twine

Convince yourself that everything is fine
Get high on leaves and drunk off sweet wine,
invite the starving wolves to dine

Feed your body to their teeth
Our Garden, your bones burried underneath
Covered in twine, your funeral wreath

On your tombstone, what will I write?
"She thought I couldn't hear her cry at night
She didn't didn't struggle as the jaws held tight"

Twine

Toodle-oo ! Much I ride on holy rays,
Into the abyss, into gaiety of space,
Dwell over the illumination of divine,
Much is poetry too joyful and to twine.

En route, I grasped the origin of motion,
To attest the course of every emotion,
         Remote, sturdy, destructive and decline,
Much is poetry too joyful and to twine.

The first-fruits held in the hand of a quean,
Not for me, a mortal so eager and too keen,
There’s a quest for what’s better, to sin or to sign,
Much is poetry too joyful and too joyfully twine.

But there’s the other hand, resolute in essence,
The hand that brings the balance and the sense,
All that starry sunshine straightened in a long line,
Much is poetry too joyful and too joyfully twine.

Golden Twine

Saša Milivojev - GOLDEN TWINE

A Spirit
A wandering soul
A wrathful squall
In the fire levin ‘s blasting
Ice within the chest is crackling.
Everything to me is hindrance
You are not within my distance
We are bound by golden twine.
Step down from the blazing sun
The child loves you but it stammers
Because this un-beating heart
Cannot fasten
Gelid gates of inky Hades.
I shall lay myself to rest
Hold acquittal and solace
In this hour evil, bleak,
When you didn’t hear me speak.
