All I Think About Is You

Looking out into the setting sun

Bright orange and brilliant red hues

Mind drifting off in the distance

All I think about is you

Each day we are getting closer

but you are so far away

My heartbeat is getting stronger

As I think about you

I need your love to hold me up

When life comes crashing down

Make sense out of everything

When all seems lost

You seem true

Looking out in the setting sun

Flickers of hope I see

Foreseeing just you and me

In each and every dream

My heart is calling you home

Come slip inside my room

Lay your head upon my pillow

Waiting, wishing, wondering

All I think about is you

Think About It

I got that I love you yet cant stand to be around
Yet sometimes you make me want to leave you by the way you act
I can be stressed without your stress and depressed without you to be
depressed over
at times I feel like nothing in this world could compare
At others I feel like I’m comparing you to someone who can do better
I got it on lock with the love in my heart for you
Yet it seems as all you do is break my heart and hurt me too
I got that half sour half sweet feeling going on at times
I feel weak for you then the way you treat me makes me strong
You are a definite positive to my comparative state of emotion at bay then you
surface as a snake and a ripe tide begins
I fall in this den of negativity
You pull me under like the devil in hell himself
God sent you an angel and this is what you’ve done to his help
I’m here to love you but all you see is pain
I’m here to warm you and you put me out in the rain
What do I do? Do I stay in thoughts that you will become my charming prince?
Or do I leave now based on this repeated evidence.
U tell me cause it’s one choice to be made
I should feel like a queen instead I feel like a love slave.
Considerate and loyal too but all I hear is I don’t know how to trust you.
For your love I have played the fool but in the end it will be you who will be left
schooled.
You will learn later that the love I have for you is greater than any wall in china,
Wider than any deep blue sea, and stronger than the faith of mustard seed
I’m so fed up but I know what I need.
I need to either leave you alone
Or teach you how to treat me.

When I Think About You

I never thought we would end up like this,
two lovers drifting apart
Did I do something that started pushing you away,
did I say something that I wish I could take back,
right now today?
On this sea of loneliness,
the waves come crashing down
Tossing and turning in my sleep,
now that you're no longer around
Empty days, lonely nights
It's hard to breath living without you
Knowing you're somewhere else,
so far apart,
what am I now suppose to do?
It's so hard living without you

But, I'll always have good memories,
the things we did together with such joy
I'll always have mental pictures of the past,
the beautiful times,
when I thought our love would always last

Many are the smiles
when I think about you
Many are the tears,
now that I'm living without you

Many are my dreams,
of you holding me in your arms
every night
Many are my regrets,
that I never really knew how to
make things right

Still, many are the smiles
when I think about you
And I think about you often,
many a lonely miles

Think About It

In watching the television or looking out my front door
Alongside it seems to run with the verses of Matthew 24
Rumblings from The Ring of Fire and rumors of War
Things have become so dire like He's right at the door

Only the Father knows as we sit here in the toes of time
Humanity reaching new lows with no reason nor rhyme
Decieved by the wicked one, unable to see, hear or understand
The Light of his only Son, nails through each Hand

Scoffers? Too many to name and the increase in wickedness
Jesus took your blame so it's Heaven you wouldn't miss
So many are in the dark and there they may forever remain
Not even in the ballpark as even understanding this a strain

So they gamble with their soul with odds they can't win
Jesus took your roll in the punishment of your sin
Just think for one minute, and call upon His Name
Do this one little bit and life will never be the same

I pray for all lost souls,
that God May bless them
with the greatest gift of all,
Faith in His Glorious Name.

Premium Member I Think About You

I think about you now and then. Those eyes I’d never see again!
I wonder if you’re still alive though decades later I still thrive.
In good health would I find you, dear? Through time, I never had you near.

In poetry I write for you. The way you made me feel comes through.
If I had one wish, I’d implore that I could touch your face once more.

Premium Member When I Think About

When I think about all the people...
Who have newly saddened lives
People who may have lost a spouse
Their husbands or their wives

When I think about the orphaned children
The little girls and little boys
Whom don't have either parent
To give a wish list full of toys

When I think about the natural disasters
The fires, winds and quakes
And the lives that are ruined forever
Just like that, My god...for heaven sakes

When I think about those hateful bastards
Who shoot bullets in our schools
Killing all those innocent people
Dear Lord, they must be Satan's fools

When I think about the unfortunate children
Whom were born with special needs
I pray for their families, ever so dearly
My heart, for them...it bleeds

When I think about all those people
Whom have sadness in their lives
Look at me, a full-grown man
Tears are in my eyes

When I think about Christmas time
I remember, some have it really bad
So, I say my prayers...before I sleep
And I pray, your Christmas's...not sad

I Still Think About Her

Seems like just yesterday, but I know it is not
Pictures have been lost, just memories now
They will never go away
Hate to think what she has been taught
I know that we will make it some how
A night does not go by that I do not pray

She was a babe way back then
It has been over twenty years ago
The day that they took her away
Wondered if I would ever see her again
The years sure go by slow
My hands were tied, had no say

Battered and abused, is all that she ever knew
Lost, no matter how hard I fought
To so-called important people in control
That is what corruption will do
And that is a lot of what we have got
I know that God has her soul

Yes, I saw her picture the other day
A grown lady now, still a child to me
Her name is Jennifer
I talk to her when I pray
Hope she understand, this is the way that it had to be
And I still think about her

i think about you not thinking about me

i cannot hide that i still think of you
a short romance you felt, but did not understand
you tell everyone what you never told me
ignoring what you did
hearing what you said
in those desperate attempts to wrap it all up into words
you trapped us
writing it off as confusion
forcing a conclusion
but I know it was there

Think About It For a While

Thing About It for a While

St. James is determined to be demanding
Resulting in a mysterious misunderstanding;
At Midway and Two Eleven much wind blows;
Have heard there won't be the likes of Lowes.

Also, is some news about an elegant story
Resulting from the presence of a crematory
And on my patience is now wearing thin;
Were people in St James really dying to get in?

Two Eleven and Midway are a combined, central hub;
They need a place there to read poems at a pub
But St. James have supporters who are staunch
Like buying up Brunswick County carte blanche'.

Then time after time and question after question
Having a major seaport is an outsider's obsession
Who in the area does not and prefers not to live
And up anything will never have to give.

Now that Southport had their day in court,
Why should some outsider want to sell them short?
Not only that, many fine tourists it will bring
After they may install more then one swing.

So try to think about it for a while;
Southport sure has such a lovely lifestyle
But meanwhile for present which is now
I am sure Southport will get by somehow.

Made Me Think About Music

Rain poured down
Made me think about music
Like listen to blues
The droplets danced on the metal railings
Made me think about music
Like listen to jazz
It was the end of may
Made me think about music
Like listen to joik
A dog run past me
Made me think about music
Like listen to country and western
It was Sunday
Made me think about music
Like listen to Gospel
The dog’s owner called out for his dog
Made me think about music
Like listen to opera
A red, white and blue car was parked outside
Made me think about music
Like listen to folk music
The dog’s owner ran after his dog
Made me think about music
Like listen to r&b
The dog’s owner was united with his dog
Made me think about music
Like listen to soul
It stopped raining
Made me think about music
Like listen to classical music
A woman went by; red dress, black sweater
Made me think about music
Like listen to rock and pop
It started raining again
Made me think about music
Like listen to heavy metal
The rain hit the artificial grass
Made me think about music
Like listen to electronica
The sun split the clouds
Made me think about music
Like listen to salsa
Like listen to cha-cha-cha
It started to rain; again
Made me think about music
Like listen to the last song; played
Last round in the pub
Last song played by the band
Last chance to follow her home
It made me think of a song
A song I know I don’t know
The song I don’t know how to sing
The song with “Corona; Corona” in the chorus
Me; I’m very happy
Because I don’t have to think about:
Music in the church
Song by a grave

Is there more joy than the sound of a child's laughter

long before they're forced to experience the life ahead

with its many challenges that are

enough to break the strongest will

though most succeed in becoming upstanding

and decent law-abiding members of society

those that don't sadly and for many reasons

are destined to spend their whole lifetime fighting

against an inner force far greater

than they are able to resist or control

those of us that have managed to stay

on the straight and narrow are at a loss to understand

it is for us to feel pity not condemnation

there but for the grace of God go I

of course, there are other factors such as

environment and upbringing but in spite of this

some still do manage to rise above

and become a model or at least law-abiding citizens

those are the ones we need to recognize

and hold in high esteem

just imagine how we would do in the same situation

so before we judge harshly these poor unfortunates

perhaps we should first try to understand

something to think about eh?

Think About It

What is souring your mood,
what exactly is troubling you?
Whenever you wrap your thoughts around it,
you start slipping deeper into the depression pit
Pharmaceutical solutions are in the night stand bottom drawer
		Pop a prescription pill,
anxieties fade ... dulled senses don’t have to worry no more
Try not to think about it,
you won’t let it enter your mind this time
Suspicions snaking through the mental backdoor,
doubts now slithering up your spinal cord
Did your betrothed man sexually abuse your child?
She’s just a young girl, not yet thirteen
Shifting sands of emotions: you’re angry, you’re scared
You wonder, does the liquor bottle get him morally impaired?
It could be jealousy that’s making you
possibly falsely accuse him
When you tried asking your daughter about it,
she didn’t say a word, just gave you a hollow stare
	Eyes empty ... mind elsewhere
And you’re don’t wanna confront your man,
afraid the truth might shatter your dreams
You love the money he gives you,
you love that diamond engagement ring
Now you’re having the same nightmare over again —
	you’re holding a gun,
and your bedroom is the crime scene
Your future spouse lay in a pool of blood,
and your daughter comes and gives you a smile and a hug
		Think about it,
don’t go blood simple and blindly react
		Think about it,
don’t let raw, irrational fear become fact
Know the truth,
before you pick up that gun and squeeze the trigger
Take a small step back,
before you make your guilty conscience get any bigger

Something To Think About

Love is not just a saying, it's an expression
An expression of passion and desires
Unforgettable moments, thoughts, and dreams
Love is all five senses of touch, taste, smell, hearing, and seeing
at there highest points of imagination
Love is morning dew on a blooming spring garden
it's nature at it's best
Love slows the hands of time
it siezes seconds, minutes, and hours.
Love grabs the truth and holds on
Love is contrary to personal feelings
Love is what you make it
