I Think About You

I think about you now and then. Those eyes I’d never see again! I wonder if you’re still alive though decades later I still thrive. In good health would I find you, dear? Through time, I never had you near. In poetry I write for you. The way you made me feel comes through. If I had one wish, I’d implore that I could touch your face once more. An endearing poem, Andrea. The mind can create the most interesting senarios if we let it. What might have been ... What could be ... all alluring feelings. Have a great weekend! Bill

Unrequited love? Lost love? A state of mind? Incomplete feelings? Pure longing? Simply wondering? The answers aren't that important, I just love how your poem made me ponder the questions. Cheers - Gary

It is always nice imaging the meet up of a long absent mentor, the thought if they would be proud of you. Nice write.

Enjoyed, but when I see how some actresses have aged, it may be best to let sleeping dogs lie (like Trump?) Aloha!

I disagree! Faces are like monuments, reflecting those who have lived an happy life as well as those who have lived a miserable life. Beauty and physical assets in youth may not lead to an happy life! Aloha!
