Tried & Tested - Into the Sunset

I am so far out of my element
It almost seems unreal
When in truth, which I always seek to find
Pretence is all that I feel
In this, my second language
I aim to express the glistening skin
That hides the shallow graves of conscience
Trapped so deep within
The pottery I shape in craft
Though pedistilled and on display
A camouflage that’s merely drafted
words of wisdom most portray
And in the spirit of fairness
As a virtue which we all possess
Accept my resignation
For this sport has had its best
I’m off to party hard and waste
My life as best as I know how
The animal within this chest
Needs freedom to survive for now
The playing game of words
is but a winding road that’s filled with stone
I’m parched in parts unheeded
As my cluttered soul heads home

Man Up, and Get It Tested

Prostate cancer isn't funny...

It’s just a blood test, no-one sticks
Their finger up your bum
You may not care about yourself
But what about your Mum
Your kids, your girlfriend, mates
Your mistress, and your wife?
Man up, and get it tested
Save a life

It’s just a blood test, just a little prick
You won’t be a hot lover when you’re sick
So shut your eyes, and hold your manly breath
For life and health are sexier than death

Tried, Tested and Godly Approved

We are always being tested in today's society
all through out our life from kindergarten to university

At one time there were certain individuals in positions of authority
who were envious of a man named Daniel, one of God's prodigies
they went to King Darius one day with plans of their undercover grudge
unaware that the name Daniel means "God is my judge"
they wanted the king to enact a law and sign some kind of decree
where no one could give homage to anyone but the king's sovereignty
they knew that Daniel was an obedient, a righteous and Christian man
who daily worshipped and glorified God, a true believer of the master's plan
unaware of the new law, Daniel continued to pray and honor The Lord Christ
and as a result he was arrested and tested and the test was his very life

Daniel who always stood alone, he passed the test and by God was approved
he survived an evening in the lion's den, all night untouched and unmoved
he was shown approved because of his unwavering faith in The Lord God
a favorite son with a righteous hope contained within his heart

It matters not the types of situations in life that you are currently going through
trust in God, have no fear and let the blood of Jesus cover you
for God is the one true Judge, make His approval your daily quest
so study His word, do your homework and pray you will pass the test

Be aware of your weaknesses, be aware of your strengths
and be aware of the Living Gospel
be a true believer, possess great faith
and trust in God to do the impossible
for the adversary is always working,
attempting to pull you down
don't allow it to interfere
just remember you're standing on God's solid ground

In the lion's den surrounded by flesh eating carnivores in plain sight
God sent His guardian angels to watch over Daniel all through the night
In the face of evil Daniel remained untouched and unmoved
tried and tested by mere men, but by God was shown approved

She was such a wee thing, bouncing when she walked. You could hear Ireland in her voice. Countless days and nights she waited, looking to the east. He promised to return in the Spring, by Summer at the latest. She counted days and nights .....hours, weeks passed as she looked toward the east, thinking of his return. For fear of losing her mind, she weeps.
Then on the eve of of winters bloom, a face upon the frosted pane appeared. “Thank God! Thank God!” as a prayer swept through her mind. Limping into the room he simply took her hand. “Will you still take me though half a man ?, he asked. I have no money. I have no place to take you, no lands, no titles, No gold in my pocket”. She was of royal blood. Ancient aristocracy had formed her frame. She stood erect and with no hesitation she answered the young man. “You ask me such a thing? You ask me such a thing even after all these years? You ask me such a thing even as these tears of joy, upon seeing you, spring forth as unbridled water frothing a mountain stream? Is your faith in me that trite? I will not tolerate a man of little faith. Maybe I don’t know you as I thought. Maybe now, you are a stranger?”
“Never a stranger to you lass! Never again a doubt! Never again a test of wills or courage! From this day, nay - - from before all the yesterdays and after all the tomorrows will my faith and my love be affirmed by my presence at your side. Let no man harm you while I live, for I will not have it. These things be true, I swear on my oath as a man, free born under God and accepting of his judgment. These things be true”.
Glowing inside, all of her doubt was swept away. As she held him close she thought of how little time she had to prepare for a small gathering of friends at the next visitation of the traveling Reverend who would marry them. It was a grand time to be alive, to still be young and to look forward to life with this young Irish man.

Turing Tested

He proved, with a skill irrefutable,
Some functions to be uncomputable.
   His run sadly halted
   When magistrates faulted
His code-breaking love as unsuitable.

---

(Alan Turing was a brilliant pioneer in the development of computer science. Among other achievements, he is remembered for proving that it is not possible to compute a general solution to the problem of whether or not a given program will ever halt, and for his so-called "Turing test" approach to the question of what artificial intelligence would mean, and for the pivotal role he played in breaking Nazi codes in WWII. His tragic early death is thought to have been a suicide, perhaps motivated at least in part by the horrifying legal prosecution he endured for his homosexuality.)

God's Faith Is Great Our's Is Tested

This Coronaverus Virus is a Test of Faith, what we did wrong in are life we all know what is right sometimes people want to act on there impulses, what feels good but when something happens .we know it's wrong sometimes we try to free our minds.but Right is right and wrong is wrong no matter our impulses many things feel good at the time .and then when over we Cry ,Why Lord because we are Human. He judges that,we break his commandments.they were strong in stone his people failed him and paid a price there is no man without sin.only to a degree no matter large or small still a sin.if Death comes it's not because we are worst then others we will be his example.he does to show Love no Greater then the man who laid his life for his Brother. This Virus is the Darkness that we hold in Our Souls to him ,WE have to walk with him Helping each other the Man that has Riches here may not in Faith. Pray to walk with Him. and maybe will be in a desert maybe with Sandals not Designer shoes.Remember God Will Call Us one by One and we will all link together. He Guides us with his Holy light.and Holds our Souls in Our Faith.

Tested Negative

I tested negative a few days ago,
the virus has yet to find my ink
to write another obituary.
I hugged my family and invited
friends for dinner, drinking, dancing
and singing, making the old days
return sooner, at least for a night.
Children have no monopoly on
childish thoughts. I imagined the virus
disappear one day like a miracle,
superstitious or not.
Then as I was cooking a nice meal and
thinking of walking my pesty dog round the bloc,
got a call from a medic trying hard to
pronounce my name correctly, with
deep and since apology informed me of
the error: my test was positive. I know what
comes next, my step-sister will think the
worst, accusing me of intentional homicide.
But, I 'm not dead yet, it's not too late,
to invite her a second time, to make sure
we'll both die in the same hospital -- the heroic baton
I cannot reward myself.

Premium Member Journey of Righteousness

I have embarked on a journey with Jesus
I do not envisage any failure
I am totally committed to Him
I am therefore in direct conflict with Satan
Jesus has purchased me with His precious blood
Therefore I am an alien in this world
On this journey He assured me there would be tribulations
He would not shield me from troubles
But He promised to see me through
My troubles would not overwhelm me
Challenges are wombs that carry my success
Because when times are stable no one is tested
When seas are calm and secure no one is refined
I do not run away from challenges
That would speak strength to my life
My brothers conspired and sold me into slavery
But God made me the most important personality in my captivity
Envy and jealousy threw me into the Lion's den
But His angels transformed lions to my pets as I walked into freedom
I was set up and thrown into a blazing flame
But I came out unscathed as Angels rescued me
My journey with Him is on course
It is irrevocable
Cause He is the way, the truth and life

Sometimes people tend to search for happiness on all the wrong places, when their back is against the wall that when you see all the terrible faces, where friendships are tasteless, love is waste less. Words come fast but are swallowed to forget, but comes right up to being a regret. Search you wont find, failure is constant in the mind, looking for clear signs, laugh to hide the cry. When is it worth the fight? Head so troubled at night. Who's wrong, Who's right? When ears tune you out from new insight. Closed minded, cold heart, selfish to something that once was there, the fear if rejection leaves you in a blank stare. Closed mouths don't get fed, but wondering eyes will get this message read. Somehow you seek defeat, the battle is already won. Heart beating triple fast like hearing the shot from a gun. Bite the bullet shadowed by pride, you can run but you cant hide. Greatness is easy to come by when your surrounded by followers, try to stand on your own first to see if your actions are thrown up by swallowers. Misery loves company, fakeness loves a crowd, searching for the real in you has never been found . Try and GPS this and see where it goes, nothing but a red stain on a white robe.

Premium Member I Am Tried Tested and Trued-

All my sins,
All my faults and thoughts
I am tried, tested and trued

All my intermissions
All my ill-gotten decisions
I’ve been tried, twisted untrue

All my wrongs, those bad things I’ve done
I’ve repented, for mentioned, God has forgotten them

All my sins,
All my faults and thoughts
I am tried, tested and trued

I’ve been repented, did I mention
My Lord Jesus grace and mercy now shines on my face
I’ve been tried, tested and trued
