Man Up, and Get It Tested

Prostate cancer isn't funny...

It’s just a blood test, no-one sticks
Their finger up your bum
You may not care about yourself
But what about your Mum
Your kids, your girlfriend, mates
Your mistress, and your wife?
Man up, and get it tested
Save a life

It’s just a blood test, just a little prick
You won’t be a hot lover when you’re sick
So shut your eyes, and hold your manly breath
For life and health are sexier than death

Oh Gail I applaud your write - the line about the finger up the bum made me smile as my hubbies prostate cancer was initially detected by a blood test but they couldn't detect it and the specialist didn't take the PSA reading that seriously until he had urine tests done by a university study and all three showed up positive for cancer it was only then they did more tests and the cancer was eventually found:-) hugs Jan xx

Hello there, Jan, and thank you so much for the read and the comment. I'm so glad that your husband's cancer was detected as the result of this procedure. Hugs back at you x

Cheers, Stephen. I wrote this to publicise a testing session that is going on in my town at the weekend. Such a little thing to do to avoid so much pain. Thanks for the read.
