Two lines, looking for answers
Who dared to cross different planes
They gambled with numbers and letters
Searching for x in sun and rain
From east to west, they tried to find
They also tried from north to south
The value of x they'd always mind
They cried all night just to be figured out
And so one day, before they finally give up
They crossed again the crest
And there their lives have touched mayhap
That was the first yet also the last
So tragic and so odd
Their lives have met yet then parted
O life is really so sad
It just divides anything united
Feel feisty flame
Opt odd ordain
Ripe rapture reigns
Observe odd one
Unzip undone
Rich rivers run
Prize pretty pace
Run remote race
Etch earns embrace

We are indeed two parallel lines
That run in eternal agreement
Continuously our course defines
A harmonious stand for our sentiments.
This united length of partnership
Runs side by side in platonic direction
Perpetual lines of enviable friendship
Will never be found in an intersection.
Fate may be kind, our lives may cross
Destinies in a future engagement
But at the moment, we are both at a loss
Our lives, our lines are just... tangent.

Just a whirlwind of thoughts has taken me off on a tangent
Where am I running too
Only my deviant mind has allowed me to proceed
To an unchartered place leaving me unsettled
It is a fear within
Puzzling music follows like footsteps behind
Is this hell-bent or what twisting my mind
Some say I am razor sharp in thought
I just think there is too much damn commotion
The Some-Say people should concentrate on their own thought process
Rather than worry about my morsel of a life
One should contemplate all the idiosyncrasies of our existence
Determined to learn and acquire the knowledge
To master our spiritual passageway to pure bliss
Before extinction
It is utter lunacy to think different
Or do you hear what I hear…

my mind touching things point of coming together what was I thinking
well-spoken well-meaning
attempts at getting to the
heart of the matter getting
down to the root of the problem
never worked out to my benefit
always went a stray off onto another
tangent of intangibility
So many cracks
Falling now stacks
So much violence
Tangent tensions
So little space
For joy's embrace
So hurts now farm
In violent harm
So what to do?
To discount hues
So much sorrow
For tomorrow
So spread the pain
With terror's strain?

just what is faith

Faith something that I can't touch
just what is Faith
Tangent fears
and yet it lifts me up
and yet my Lord keeps me from it
just what is Faith
just what is this fear
I'm at a straight place in my life
this unpleasant emotion caused by unbelief
just what is this fear
and yet it lets me up it's in my mind
and heart and it's dangerous
